Matt at Meixner Tire & Auto gave us a quote, we decided to go with it and are SO VERY PLEASED we did. The estimate/quote we were given came very very close to the final cost. They were very quick to get it fixed, and very efficient and helpful. Not only did they do great work, and the truck runs very well, they called a week or so after and asked how things were going and told us to bring it back in if we thought it needed any adjustment. Thank you SO very much Meixner!!! We will be returning for our car repairs in the future. I recommend them highly to anyone looking for repairs etc. PS everyone one that we encountered there was very nice and very professional!

They are blatantly sexist, demeaning and discrimatory toward women as if they can't stand to explain things to you, will not make eye contact with you, and seem to have an utter disdain for you to be in their waiting room. Did not have the courtesy to tell me in person when I was paying them my car would not be ready that day as promised. Instead, when I left the building they called a relative and told them. I did not find out I did not have a car for the weekend until 3:30pm that afternoon when I called to make arrangements for pickup that my car would not be worked on until Monday. This left me without a way to work for 4 more days as it was a holiday weekend. Very, very inconsiderate and they gave or offered no explanation as to why the car was not repaired by the Thursday deadline. They people have no ethics.

If I could give zero stars, I would!!!!! This is definitely…read moreNOT a place I would recommend. The office person Glen will tell you whatever you want to hear. I was given a price of roughly 2500.00 to rebuild the transmission and would take around 3 to 4 weeks to be completed and had to pay 1200.00 up front to even start on the work. After 3 weeks, I called to see how much longer, I was told Glen was out of the office and would have to call me back, but he never did. Sometimes, there was no answer at all during regular business hours. Drove to the shop during regular business hours, and they were closed. No body around what so ever. When I was able to talk to Glen, I was told "we're waiting on the part" called again and was told "yeah your part came in, but your car was pushed out of the garage because it was taking too long for the part to come in and your car was put at the end of the line and they were working on other cars. They damaged parts on the car and then charged me to fix it. I had a manufacturer recall part, and when I dropped the car off, i asked if they could reach out to GM on the replacement, I was told they wouldn't do that. I would have to take it to a GM dealership to have that work done. Well low and behold, they replaced it and charged me 296.00. I said that it was a recall item, and you told me you wouldn't touch it. Glen's response was "well I had to replace it to get the job done correctly." When all was said and done, it was close to 6000.00 and 6 months later. So on top of 3500.00 more for the repair, I had to find rides, borrow cars, and even had to rent a car and had to pay for it out of my own pocket. SO UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND PAYING OVER "DOUBLE" THE QUOTE GIVEN OR IF YOU REALLY DON'T NEED A CAR TO DRIVE, THEM BE MY GUEST AND YOU CAN GIVE THEM A CHANCE. "MAYBE" YOU'LL HAVE BETTER LUCK THAN I DID!!!!!!!

Once he has your vehicle, communication is almost nonexistent, answers are few and far between, and the estimated price becomes much more. He had my vehicle for almost SEVEN months. He committed to things he did not deliver. When I received the vehicle back, the carpet in the cab was dirty, i found i had not been informed of parts replaced beforehand, and some of the original parts replaced had been damaged. I have asked more once for Glenn to fulfill what he had committed to and he has yet to live up to his end. This shop is closed, but he is now located at the Austin Transmission in Mehlville. Buyer beware. If you ask me, I would suggest using a more highly rated shop. If you pick this shop, Ron [the manager] seems to be the more reliable contact.

And based on the codes it was throwing Kerry agreed. He told me the turbo would need rebuilt and it would take 5 business days to complete and have back on the road. Few weeks go by notbecause of the turbo but because in the process when lifting my truck up on lift they bent and buckled my hood up in the rafter of the shop. I couldn't wait for the truck any longer, I needed it for work so I went and got the truck but still paid in full at that time. Kerry was waiting on the new hood to come in. After getting on the road within a few minutes I realized the truck was still experiencing a loss of power and still driving the very same way as when I brought it up there. Long story short, I ended up having to replace the innercooler, and his other mechanic put too long of bolts in my radiator so he had to replace that for free in addition. On November 1st! I sent Kerry a message saying i need my truck done now. Within a few days i had my truck back, she had her power back but now was leaking coolant when running. And the new hood was on but still not closing properly. I bring it to Kerry's attention and he proceeds to tell me he isnt going to do anything about the coolant because it sounds like its coming from somewhere they didnt have anything to do with... I had one of my other licensed mechanics take a look under the hood and we discovered that the radiator was not bolted back onto the innercooler and frame and we replaced and o-ring on the hose but a month later I am still having coolant loss issues. I replaced hood bracket myself because I refuse to have this shop butcher my truck anymore than it has.
