The menu price is $11.95 but there was a minor upcharge using a delivery app. The food took FOREVER but I believe it was the fault of the driver. The salad was tasty and they were super generous with the amount of chicken. I was starving by the time it was delivered and I still couldn't come close to finishing it. I also ordered a side of toum for about $1 and it was a tasty addition. I wish they gave a bit of pita with the salad but it's so cheap that I can't blame them for not including it. The salad was fresh and the chicken was tender and cooked well. Dressing was a little underwhelming but it was still yummy despite it. Overall would absolutely order again! Highly recommend for a good, reasonably healthy lunch.

Other than the fact that i literally ate 6 chicken salad sandwiches and took one to go at the conference (nuff said). However, in my most recent experience i was driving up Woodward and decided to pop in and see what was on the menu this week. The Quesadilla dinner caught my eye. Three quesadillas, filled with a protein of your choice, come with two sides. For protein, i went with the blackened white fish, and for sides, i chose beans and fried plantains. Rich and piquant flavor on the fish, met by a crispy cheezy quesadilla, all together it was savory and scrumptious. Plus, the sides were perfect additions, the plantains offering a sweet and salty bite and the beans cooked perfectly. Loved every bite and can't wait to make Pink Flamingo a regular lunch spot! Also great storefront, they sell locally made products so it's great to see those dollars stay in the community and the collaborative promotion of other businesses! And the staff were super friendly coming from around the counter to talk with us. Also, for a Friday at 3, the place was not too busy at all. Quiet, easy in and out. If you are having an event, have them cater. If it's Thursday in the summer and you're looking to kick back around a fire and fill your face with nutritious, delicious, and creative food, go to the Cork Town spot (weather permitting).

Even the coffee was really good. Our server was completely knowledgeable about accommodating our son's allergies, too. Btw, it's a good thing we arrived slightly before 11:00 because the place was packed by noon. I think this is going to be a regular thing for us, to stop off on our way to our Detroit Symphony Sunday afternoon concerts.
