My son and I were attending a class nearby so we went and had lunch there. The beers were good... we had a lager and blonde. They also do some brick oven style pizza.. it was actually pretty good. We added pepperoni which was 2$ but the number and size on the pizza was so little that it was really not worth the 2$. I would not add that on a future order of mine. The people working there were nice. THey have a parking lot across the street(I think), we parked on the road and they have indoor and outdoor seating. The food here was really great! The Port St Joe pizza came out seemingly fresh from the oven and the sweet was my favorite type of sweet. My waitress was the best, she made sure I always had a fresh glass of sweet tea before my last one ran low and gave me a sticker on the way out! Came here Thursday night for their trivia. The host was so nice and had a great vibe. She found us a table and brought an extra chair as we were a group of 5 and it was busy. The biggest reason I deducted stars was the service. The servers didn't seem to want to be there. They did pop by to ask if we needed things but seemed to hope we wouldn't. I ordered the key lime pie martini on the rocks as I prefer a slower sip on ice and it's just easier to drink. What I didn't expect was the drink to still come in a martini glass just with ice tossed in. Because of that the waitress had it all down her arm dripping on the floor. I felt bad for her. The martini itself though was delicious. After I got the mint to be which was a water min mojito. It was delicious! Very sweet but not in an overpowering way. My mom got the Bahama mama which was just okay. The guys really enjoyed their beers. Now for food we started with the pretzel with beer cheese. The cheese costs an extra $3 which isn't a problem but the small ramekin it comes in was disappointing. There wasn't even enough for the pretzel... but it was delicious. Next we got the garlic sauce pizza with the potatoes, I can't remember the name. It was delicious and a good size. Lastly we got the brownie sundae which was also very good. The brownie was the star, being fudgey but also having big yummy chocolate chips. Definitely worth it. Over all I would like to go back and try it again. read more

First time visiting and we had a nice time. Servers and bartenders were all incredibly nice and attentive. The drinks were good. Our group had a mix of cocktails and beer. The cocktails were definitely on the sweeter side, but enjoyable and refreshing. They have a wide range of beer to choose from too which is nice. The food was interesting. We had three different kinds of pizza. The regular cheese pizza was okay, but the sauce on it had zero flavor or seasoning. Meat lovers was good and packed with toppings. The white pizza with prosciutto and lemon was different. It had lemon slices on it with the skin. It was a bit surprising. The pretzel with beer cheese was delicious and had plenty of salt too. The Mac and cheese was another interesting dish. It was more like a lemon garlic Mac and cheese than what we were anticipating, but still flavorful and yummy. The place has lots of options for seating inside and outside. They've got cornhole set up outside too. Seems family friendly. This was a weird find... I was in Richmond for a charity event on Sunday and scheduled to meet a friend for lunch later in the afternoon. Well, he texted as my event was wrapping up that his schedule had changed due to a family thing and he was at Trapezium in Jamestown. I had to look it up as I'd never heard of it before and asked him if they had food, as I was famished. He mentioned pizza and I replied Say no more! It was a quick 20 minute drive from downtown RVA, easy off the interstate exit find with just a couple of turns and you're in the gravel lot across from the patio. That patio, and their space inside is expansive! Many covered picnic tables in the center of the open air space with some nice group sized couches along the perimeter, and the houseboat-turned-outdoor-bar was a quaint but kitschy touch. I went for their Bonneville Deluxe pizza and was not disappointed! Fresh sausage, bacon, pepperoni, and salty prosciutto absolutely hit every tastebud with an explosion of flavor. I demolished that pizza... and ordered some of their fresh meatballs to go for a dinner course. Their beer was on point as I tried both an Irish red ale as well as a west-ish coast IPA and both were excellent. Our server had an excellent sense of humor and patience as our crowd was a little raucous and throwing around insults without a care. All in all, a great and fortuitous find; I will definitely return if I'm back in Jamestown! read more

We had a horrible experience on 4/10/26. Arrived around 6:45 with a family of 3. Ordered wings beer and pizza. Placed the order as soon as we sat down and had to ask for our pizza to go at 7:45. We ordered 4 beers, wings and pizza and our total (with tip) was $90. Be prepared to spend money and wait a long time if you choose Trapezium. I would give Good Ship in Hopewell a try. The pizzas and pretty good. I also like the diverse beers. I almost always get a flight because I can never decide on just one beer. I end up really liking three of four of them! Service is always friendly and knowledgeable and the outdoor seating is my favorite place to park it and relax. This is a nice little Petersburg gem and you should really visit! read more

Nice spot in downtown Petersburg Virginia. I've picked up Trapezium beers at local bottle shops where I live and they're always good. On my way back from picking up a new truck at a Toyota dealership nearby, my son and I stopped in for some pizza before heading home. It's a cool place and had a nice vibe. We ordered Caesar salads, meatballs and we each had a personal pizza. My son said it was a little too doughy and I agreed but we still enjoyed it. I visited Trapezium one two different occasions. The first was a night they happen to have a trivia night, where I ended up winning tickets to come back for a drag brunch in a Sunday. I was going to originally give them 4/5 stars, but after visiting Sunday I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Their pizzas are pretty good and they support a local bakery by using dough from them for their pizza crust. I love a good collab. Service was a tad slow and they were not super attentive on the trivia night. But, it could have been for any of the reasons that others have due to where we are as the world these days. But, our service was great, the hostess was attentive every time I walked past her. The morning of the drag brunch was exciting. It did take them a little to get the food out, but it was worth the wait. I learned a lot more that day about Trapezium. All super positive things too. One they opened up around the pandemic time frame. I'm sure they had some growing pains here and there, to be expected for sure and definitely understand with all that. Second, they seem to support the LQBTQ+ community hugely. I love that about them. They opened up their brewery for Tricities Pride Inc for a date in September so they could host an event. Tricities was having some issues here and there and Trapezium brewery stepped up to the plate to help. It warmed my heart to hear that. In all this brewery is great. We sat in the outdoor seating area which was very nice. It was a beautiful day in Petersburg. They server greeted us and was very pleasant thorough out our visit. The wings were cooked to perfection, my only complaint is that I couldn't taste the sauce on the wings, but that didn't stop us from eating them. The pizza was like a homemade oven fired pizza. We got a specialty pizza and it was cooked just right. It was so good and light, not doughy at all. They only needed to make sure to carefully slice it before being served. read more

Place is super nice and the food was good. I was sitting outside with a group of about 10 people between 2 tables. We had a few small children that were in our group. The kids were outside with us and there were 3-4 adults playing with them. Apparently the staff didn't like that the kids were running around and asked us to leave. Yes, they were out of their seats but they weren't running loose they were actually paying with the adults. So I think it's safe to say they're not kid friendly. I find it interesting because it seems like they would encourage people to socializing because of the large outdoor games they have. After they asked the family with kids to leave, we all left shortly afterwards. They could've been overreacting to covid though. Either way, won't be back. read more

They have awesome pizza combinations and the ingredients were fresh, the crust was thin and absolutely delicious. What's not to love? Tonight was our second visit and it was as delightful as our first. I like strong and dark beer and their "Heavy Hitter" checks all the boxes. Two beers and I'm done. Both times our waitresses were sweet and attentive but not annoying. The ambiance of the restaurant doesn't fail. The brick building, concrete floors, moody vibe -- it's all good things. I have loved both pizzas we've gotten.... Super duper thin crust, and toasty and warm. Tonight they were out of the oooey goooey brownie and my heart was slightly broken.... This was a to-go order, and we heated up the pizzas when we got home. Our favorite, by far, was the The Wydner Deluxe (meats), but the one with lemon rinds is worth a try if you're into experimenting. Overall, good pizza. And probaby the best in Amyherst County (I'm an out-of-town visitor). Giving it a 5 star because it needs to be a 4.5 star rating total (it's better than a 4.0). read more

We enjoyed our happy hour at Trapezium. Pizza and crust was cooked perfectly. Wings were delicious and decently sized. Alabama sauce was tasty. The Flat bread and dip trio appetizer was better than expected. The flat bread was surprisingly fresh and the texture was soft and chewy. We liked all of our beer choices on our flights. We have gone several times this year. The service is excellent. Trapezium has trivia night on Thursdays, excellent outside seating, and phenomenal beer. My favorite is the peach beer. You can buy it by the glass, in 500ml, and 11/2 liters. It is worth it! The food is mostly wood fired artisanal pizza, but the wings and the pretzels are also worthwhile. read more

Based on our last experience, we went back with high hopes and the kids in tow. The food was disappointing because a) my husband's food didn't come out until almost an hour after our food; b) his wings were cold, soggy and just gross and c) his pizza was literally burned. I love toasty crust but the meat on his pizza was actually charred and he felt like portions were inedible. The reason I only removed one star was because the waitress was awesome. She readily admitted that there was a mix up in the kitchen and took the pizza off the bill before we even saw how burned it was. We really appreciated her honesty. I saw a sign that they were hiring and can only hope that the quality of the food was subpar this time because they lost some good people. I'll check them out again in a couple of months. read more
