What I truly love about Trapped is that the staff, whether in San Dimas, Upland, and Las Vegas, they are all very nice and take pride in their rooms. They are the only place that gives back incentives that make you truly want to come back. For instance, they give a free shirt on the 3rd game you do with them, regardless of locations. Also, they give a free game for your 6th room. My family and I will be definitely coming back to finish all their rooms. Several of their rooms have unique puzzles and experiences.

    We escaped!!

Absolute fun from start to finish. We did the Pandora's box room. It was so entertaining and used a lot of brain skills to solve the puzzles. Jack was so fun to work with! Definitely will do the other rooms!!!

What's up: Escape rooms can be fun if you have the right people with you. It can be awesome if the venue does a good job creating the puzzles and Trapped! definitely did it well. Parking: Located right off the 57 FWY, parking is plentiful. It's not too far from the Red Roof Inn. Environment: We signed up for a game the day of on their website. They had plenty of openings and games available. When we arrived, we signed in and watched a short video explaining the rules. There are small lockers where we stashed our gear (no phones allowed!). The staff members were really awesome and they made it a very immersive game; we felt like we were actual agents with our gear and vests :) What was ordered: - Operation X-13 Yay/Nay/Meh: Yay. We had a fun experience. After stumbling around a bit, we managed to solve and escape from Operation X-13. Staff members were very in character and it made it so fun. Credit cards are accepted.

Have you ever wanted to go to an escape room? Do you like to solve puzzles? Are you up for a challenge? Are you looking a fun group or family activity? What are you waiting for? Book your escape room with Trapped! This was my first time going to an escape room. We were a group of 7 that was looking for a fun team building activity. We came across Trapped and gave it a try. There is plenty of parking for your group and located right off of the freeway. All of the staff is very friendly and committed to making sure every guest has a great experience. Shout out to all of them! We had a wonderful time! They prep you prior to entering the escape room and do an outstanding job with setting the scene for your experience. They have some games you can play while you are waiting. We played uno and tic tac toe. It was fun! We did Grandmas Surprise amd we Loved it! It was much more challenging than expected. It was filled with many surprises, clues, puzzles. It gets your mind going. Grandma was helpful without giving us the answer. You most definitely need to think out of the box. Wear comfortable shoes. The clues and puzzles take you all around the room and lead to some surprises. It's a lot of fun. It exceeded our expectations. We are already planning to go back and try another room. They have a room if you want to bring your food but there may be a fee. Call and ask about this. They are always happy to help. Support this family owned business and book at Trapped!

It was super easy to book via email for a party room. Staff was friendly and my daughter and her friends had so much fun! It was half the girls first time in a escape room and they all said this was the best. They don't offer any food for the party room but we just ordered Michaelangelo's pizza and picked it up quick for the party. I just wish they had signs to take pics like "we escaped" or things like that at the end.

That was Fun !! Lauren was amazing walking us through and making it all exciting. I suggest you guys check it out ( Grandmas Surprise) . You need to book ahead on line prior to arriving the the place . They do sell some merchandise by the lobby and again Will definitely come back and try the other 2 escape rooms they have.

We opened Pandora's Box and realized we opened a portal! But we closed it before time ran out. Pandora's Box was an immersive experience. Every puzzle solved triggered some cool special effects. Because it relies heavily on storytelling, the format is extremely linear and is well-suited for smaller groups. Some of the puzzles require patience to to get through but were satisfying to complete. Linnea was our host and deserves a standing ovation for staying in character when she set the scene for us at the beginning. Great room!!! We'll be back to do their other rooms!

Ask the Community - Trapped Escape Room

Is Grandma's room appropriate for a 7 year old?

I would say yes. Not really anything scary or adult.

Is there a minimum amount of people needed to book? Is two people okay?

Hi Marcelo, thanks for your interest in Trapped! You can book for as few as two players, but for most games we would recommend a team of 4 to 6 to be able to tackle all the puzzles involved as you work towards a common goal. If you only have two…

There are live actor(s) but no physical touch. Their performance is really impressive, which seems more common in LA. Coming from SF, any live actors are usually much more reserved, so this was a thrilling change of pace. Clues are given freely and appropriately, which is a skill in itself and keeps the experience moving from one satisfying puzzle conclusion to the next. Overall I highly recommend Hope's End, it is an enjoyable experience appropriate for our group of 7 people. As a huge escape room fan, I can confidently say this is in the top 10% of escape rooms I've done.

Hope End at The Ministry of Peculiarities is an exceptional escape room experience…read more They are located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The entrance is located behind the tower in the southeast corner next to the massage parlor. The front door is always locked, and you will be let in when all members of your group have arrived. This is essential since the experience begins as soon as you enter. You will encounter the first live actor, Janice, in the lobby who will enthusiastically describe your mission and interview your team. She will then lead you down a dark hallway to the entrance of Hope End. The room has a split start which was very interesting, and different than split starts we have encountered before. There are zero combo locks, only a few key locks, and almost all logic puzzles, and mechanical/physical puzzles. Most of the rooms are dimly lit and maybe a little spooky, but not scary at all. The whole experience is very story driven, and you should pay very close attention to every word spoken. We have only done one other live actor room, and in that one, the actor was basically there for scare factor. The second live actor, Delores, contributes a lot to the story and overall experience which is very immersive. I would say the difficulty level is between medium and hard. The experience is 90 minutes long, and we took the full 90 minutes to finish. We weren't sure how to ask for help, but when we were obviously spinning our wheels, a hint would magically appear. The live actors Jace who played Janice, and Ronnie who played Dolores were outstanding. It was obvious that they weren't your typical escape room game masters, but people with an acting background who have a strong passion for performing. We had four people in our group which I think was perfect. The cost starts at $75 per person for four people, and goes down as your group size increases. Unlike most rooms which are 60 minutes, this is a 90 minute experience and well worth every dollar. You will even receive a little souvenir to take home at the end. Hope End is currently the only experience here, but they will be opening a new room towards the end of the year. We had a really great time, and I would highly recommend trying Hope End.

This is an amazing room and definitely in my top three out of the 50+ rooms we have done. It is a large overall space and has a total of seven different sub-rooms. It is dimly lit and you really feel like you are in an old abandoned high school. There are several jump scares, but I wouldn't say it is scary, just creepy. There is a mix of linear and non-linear puzzles, and a lot of back and forth between rooms. There is a good variety of locks, mechanical puzzles, and pattern/problem solving. There are quite a few puzzles, and the room kept all four of us very busy. There are a few spots where crawling is required, and the floor is pretty hard and not cushioned or carpeted. This room was definitely one of the hardest we have done, but it was so fun the whole time. We escaped with only one minute left. This is one of their three hardest rooms and is ranked 8/10 difficulty which I would agree with. Melissa was our game master and she was very helpful over the walkie talkie when we requested a hint. They have a total of ten different rooms now, and this was our third completed. We will definitely be back to try more.
