Down the Rabbit Hole was our favorite!!

We have tried one other escape room but absolutely loved Trapped! It is so much more than a bunch of combo locks! Appreciate the different puzzles. We had such a great time that we went and had lunch and then came back for another room. Our GM Daniel was AMAZING! He was so great in character, he was kind and helpful with any hints and made us feel like we did so great. Absolutely our new favorite place to try escape rooms!

Great Escape room for our first ever room. Lots of fun we did the Menagerie. Sadly we didn't finish on time but we still had a blast and will do more rooms in the future it was everything we expected it to be. I wouldn't have changed it for the world than to experience it with my love. PS mannequins with antlers are cool

This was such a fun experience. It was a bit hard to find as it's in a business park but other than that it was great. The adventure was carefully and thoughtfully curated. I loved the variety to choose from. The game we fun we almost made out we were on the last clue and a group of 4. The staff was amazing very friendly and accommodating and answered all of our stupid questions. I can't wait to go back!

    Down the Rabbit Hole

Escape room location is in the rear of the business park once you enter off mountain. We went to the Upland location for our 3rd time here. We did Down the Rabbit hole. Our GM was Tyler and was great. The puzzles and theme of the room were fun and all flowed well. I'd definitely recommend doing their rooms, we keep returning and will definitely be coming back to do the remaining room at this location. They have multiple and they all have been a great time so far.

We played The Trials of Merlin last night at Trapped Escape Room in Upland. My 203rd room that I've played!

We played The Trials of Merlin last night at Trapped Escape Room in Upland. Being that it was my 203rd room that I've played, there's not a lot that can wow or surprise me these days. However, Trapped keeps delivering even more immersive and detail oriented treasures and moments you can hope for in an escape room. The personality of the room stayed true to the story and we got lost in the world of Merlin! All sorts of emotions occurred last night as we successfully journeyed to pass Merlin's trials to prove our worthiness. This room delivers on a magical adventure. The room is a minimum of 3 players and you must book it NOW!

LIAR OF THE PUZZLEMASTER... CONQUERED! We had NO IDEA what we were getting into today lol, but this was where the birthday boy wanted to go. Escape room??!? Okay... LET'S DO THIS! He decided on the morning of his birthday, full on spur of the moment, so we had to scramble for a location that could accommodate a group of 9-10 people and not share "the room" with others (munchkin is still paranoid of getting COVID-19). There are quite a few options in Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Ontario area as this was a good half way point for All the parties, but not all are private and not all rooms can accommodate 9-10 people. Luckily TRAPPED! had this room available at a reasonable hour, and we booked it promptly! Yelp directions are on point, but street signage is pretty small and there's no signs to point you in the correct direction while driving. Basically drive to the back of the office buildings and you'll see it on the second floor. Parking was easy on Saturday! So how's this all work??? We showed up 5 minutes early. We were a group of 9, age range 13-53. Entry way serves as the gathering area. We watch a few videos about how their Escape Rooms work, and an introduction to our specific Escape Room. Then, our "Liaison" takes us outside and leads us to the "Liar of The Puzzlemaster!" 60 minutes to Escape! One person in group serves as communication officer with a walkie-talkie. We were all novices to the Escape Room world, so it took a bit of time to get our groove on. We reached out only a few times, and we weren't given direct answers, more like hints or clues to nudge us in the right direction. And... SUCCESS with minutes to spare! Whew! Last 15 minutes got pretty stressful, yet a Very fun experience! EASY RECOMMENDATION! Friendly and engaging staff. Definitely looking forward to testing our wits again with their other rooms. Enjoy!

    We were stumped!

This was my FIRST escape room challenge! My husband and I treated my sister and brother-in-law to an adventurous evening for their anniversary. We were not disappointed and NO we did not escape LOL! There is a little learning curve to get how to proceed but once you warm up to the idea it gets easier. The room we tried was creative and fun! I feel like it could have used some air conditioning because we did get hot moving from room to room. The puzzles are not difficult, just takes some common sense, a little ingenuity and patience. You do need to finish some before you can move on to the next. We loved it and will definitely book another adventure!

Ask the Community - Trapped! Escape Room

What is the level of difficulty or the escape percentage for your down the rabbit hole room and your lair of the puzzlemaster room?

Hi Nicole, thanks for your interest in Trspped! Both games have around a 60-70% success rate. However, for all of our games we provide unlimited hints, so they are only as difficult as you make them.

Is the menagire scary or super intense?

Hi Ryan, thanks for your interest in Trapped! Although none of our games are full horror or intended to scare players, The Menagerie will have an intense theme similar to its predecessor, Sector 13, and will be recommended for adults and teens 16… Read more

Is the Down the Rabbit hole room still available? I don't see it on your website. Planning to book it for October. Have family coming over and wanted to try it out.

This location is not open currently, they are working on getting it back up. An email came out today that they offer a virtual run through for this room

Are these scary, as in things or persons jumping out at you?

    No.

Are any of the rooms wheelchair accessible?

    Yes they are.

    Is there discounts for students?

There is no specific discount for students, but we have various promotions all the time. For example, from now thru January 5th any booking for a group of 6 or more can get $50 off by using the promo code HOLIDAY_PARTY

How much is it for one?

It is currently $32 per player, but you can’t book just one. You must book a group of 2 to 10 players (min and max varies per game) and all bookings are private, so it will be just your group.

Look for the ESCAPE ROOM sign over head and the mirrored front windows. They have two rooms: "The Amazing Argo: A Steampunk Adventure" and "The Lost Treasure of El Capitan". We chose to do the Argo room. We were greeted by Alain, who would be our game master. After scanning a QR code on the TV to complete the online waiver, we were escorted into the room and our time began. All parts of room are immersive and there are a lot of really great props and display items that fit the theme of being on a steampunk airship well. The room is mostly non-linear, but flows well, and has a big variety of puzzles with just a few locks, quite a few mechanical puzzles, and even a few arcade style puzzles. There was one puzzle that wasn't properly reset but Alain was quick to resolve the issue. He gave us helpful hints without totally giving the solution away when we asked for help a few times which I always appreciate. This was a close one, but the two of us escaped right at the 60 minute mark. Afterwards, we enjoyed discussing elements of the room and other rooms in SoCal with Alain. He also gave us a quick view of the El Capitan room which I'm sure we will return to try. They are currently building a third room Code Black which will be a mostly completely dark room. Their rooms are very reasonably priced at only $50 per person for two people. The price per person goes down if you have a bigger group. Give their rooms a try!

Inside Job: This room has a minimum for 5 people which makes sense because there's so many puzzles you can do which is perfect! I appreciated the variety of puzzle that they had and it was nice because everyone was always working on something. This is also super unique since it's a former bank! Definitely worth the try! Villains Vendetta: This room is a lot smaller compared to knightfall and Inside job but it utilized the space well. There were so many puzzles - some easy, some challenging.
