My group recently played Edeline and Cloud Escapes' newest room, Kapow Comics. We also had the opportunity to experience 49 Boxes earlier this year, a unique pop-up event that left a lasting impression. One thing Cloud Escapes does differently from many traditional escape rooms is that they let the story drive the puzzles. Their rooms tend to be very experience-focused, with each puzzle moving the narrative forward. That was especially true in Edeline, where the story felt like the heart of the room. Kapow Comics takes a slightly different approach. While it still has a strong theme, it leans more heavily into the puzzles themselves! The game starts the moment you arrive at the door. Be ready to pay attention from the very beginning. As for 49 Boxes, it's not really an escape room at all. It's a collaborative puzzle experience created by members of the magic community. There are six tables, and depending on where you're seated, you'll encounter a completely different set of mystery boxes. The tables work together to open the collective 49 boxes and ultimately solve one final reveal. It was such a clever concept, and I loved how it encouraged collaboration between complete strangers. Cloud Escapes continues to experiment with different styles of immersive puzzle experiences, and I appreciate that they're willing to take creative risks rather than sticking to the same formula. I recently played Edeline and The 49 Boxes here. Edeline is a story driven escape room. This experience is heavily based in storytelling and lighter on puzzles. It's not your typical California style Escape Room. It's interesting and unique and a little bit scary. The 49 Boxes is not an escape room at all actually, it is an experience that pops up on Saturdays in the lobby of Cloud. This is created by members of the Magician community and also heavily focuses on storytelling as well as Magic and puzzles. This is a public experience where you form community while experiencing the magic of the evening. You work together to open boxes that lead to one final box that will finally be opened after all these years. It's an incredible night, but definitely not an escape room. It is not an experience where you puzzle hard and fast either it is a community building, shared experience among the guests to create memories and wonder. read more

Cloud Escape does something a bit different than other typical escape rooms, which is refreshing! Their rooms are story/experience oriented so the puzzles, along with the room elements, help tell a story as you unravel its mysteries (and twists and turns). All the staff were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic about escape rooms, and just a delight to have as GMs! Our group did the Dorm, Alone, and Edeline rooms. Each room had its own charm and the stories were interesting! We enjoyed the variety of puzzles, use of tech, and the level of detail in the room designs to immerse you in the stories. Our favorite was Edeline and while there were some thriller/scary moments, it was a very cool experience and the story was interesting. Definitely recommend playing all the rooms! read more

Maddy was amazing ! This escape room was really good we did the Edaline one and that one was pretty scary for I don't do scary stuff like that but this one had a really nice storyline a pretty sad one too. If you like spooky dolls and that Erie feeling that'll literally have your heart beating fast this is the game for you ! But either than that it was fun I'd definitely come back but to try something less spooky lol. Great place to go if you want something different, but you can't treat this like normal escape rooms. Erin's Diary, Alone and Edeline are story based experiences with puzzles. My advice is to make sure you like the theme of the room before booking. Make sure to soak in the story, it's half of the experience. Dorm is especially unique, more of a detective role playing game with mysteries to solve. Personally I liked all of them except Edeline. Too creepy for me, but you'll enjoy it if you like a creepy doll theme. Check these rooms out but keep an open mind. read more

Came here on a whim after eating at Pho Vina with my girlfriend. The both of us are slowly getting into the escape room scene and we thought this place was definitely different! Story telling while trying to ESCAPE! We did The Red Balloon as we are still getting more comfortable with puzzle solving but we had so so much fun! And the staff was super friendly and helpful! This is my second time at this location. The first room I played was The Dorm and this time around, I was able to play Alone. Luckily for me, I was able to get James as my game host again. He was a great host that knew when to jump in and ask us when we needed help. The room has a unique game mechanic with a great story. I won't say too more other than get your thinking cap on! The room max was 6 but 4 was the ideal group size for us. Anymore would make it a little crowded. There are still 3 other rooms that I can still play. Hoping to play it in the future. read more

First, I will say our game master was very nice, but these rooms are a far cry from an escape room. My husband and I have done over 400 rooms and were very disappointed. There is a lot of just standing around and listening and things simply did not make sense. We booked 2 rooms and ended up just walking out of the second room. If you want an escape room, stay away from here. If you want to stand around and listen to a story then this might be for you, but certainly not a room for the typical escape room enthusiast. read more

A little late review about Cloud Escape! Had an amazing time on 1/2/25. The puzzles were clever and kept us on our toes, with some really creative twists. The atmosphere was top-notch, and we felt fully immersed in the story. That said, we did run into a few hiccups with few of the items such as cabinets - they were a bit tricky to open or seemed a little jammed. However, that did not take away the fun we had. the staff was super helpful, and we managed to push through Edeline! Definitely a fun challenge, and I'd go back for more! read more

Most unique escape room I have ever experienced! We played the Attic with a group of 3, and it was amazing. The storyline was very immersive. The escape room is unlike a traditional escape room. It is storyline based and the puzzles are solved linearly. The vibes were spooky and everyone had such an enjoyable time. :) The staff were all super friendly and passionate! I had an incredible time at "The Attic" escape room! They have 5 rooms with different story line and difficulty level and the Attic is definitely very friendly for beginners like me. The storyline was gripping, and the creative clues kept us fully engaged from start to finish. The puzzles were challenging and fun, perfectly tied into the narrative, making the whole experience immersive and exciting. Our group came on Mother's Day and we did edeline. We had an amazing experience with James as our game master. The room has a mixture between fun exciting puzzles and some jump scares. All of the puzzles are interactive which was very cool. Definitely a 10/10 for experienced escapers like us. read more

Lots to improve here. We started fairly late while we showed up on time, but the main issue was all the technical issues. -The audio in Erin's Diary was inaudible, they have knock off speakers that sounded like tincans, there was supposedly a story but I couldn't hear it -the puzzles required hyper specific placement that didn't line up. -the room supported up to 7 but there was not 7 people's worth of puzzles to occur I think the design could be an interesting idea but nothing worked well and the mechanics of the room were honestly really bad Update: you can't respond to people it seems so I'll edit my review in response to the owner 1) I don't like to just outright call people liars, but we were all present 5-15 minutes before our start time, and we all took bathroom breaks because we were sitting in the lobby for 20-30 minutes per person, waiting to start. Us starting late is not a reflection on us I'm sorry you want to spin it that way. 2) We were loud in the room while discussing the puzzles, but whenever an audio track started we forced everyone to hush up so we could hear it due to how quiet it was, and even with everyone being silent both the volume and quality of the speakers was poor. The second rooms audio that starts before going in we could barely hear with our ears pressed to the door. read more

I really enjoy my experience in Could Escape. It was so fun to solve the puzzle with friends. I was very impressed by how advanced their equipments can be. We played the "Dorm" which is a 90 mins game. It has a mysterious story behind it. If you like solve puzzles and thrill stories, you should try it. Book it online and choose how many players will be in the game. Very convenient! I would love to go again and try other rooms. The staff there are very nice and friendly.
