We did The Weeping Witch for a 13-year-old birthday party with three teenagers and four adults, and even though we DID NOT ESCAPE, this was easily one of the best, if not the best, escape room experiences I've had. First, The Weeping Witch itself is phenomenal. The concept, atmosphere, puzzles, and overall execution were incredibly well done. This isn't just a room with a collection of locks and clues thrown together. It feels like an actual experience. The thought and creativity that went into the game are obvious, and as someone who genuinely loves escape rooms, I was seriously impressed. But what really pushed Cross Roads over the top was the entire experience outside of the room. We were there for a birthday party, and the waiting/party area actually has a mini escape room in it. The kids are 13 and 14, so not exactly little kids who are easily entertained, and they immediately got into it, solved it, and earned stickers. It was such a fun and thoughtful touch. It made the time before our actual game feel like part of the experience instead of just waiting around. And then there was David, our Game Master. David was fantastic. He added so much to the experience and was exactly what you want in a great Game Master. Inside Job: This room has a minimum for 5 people which makes sense because there's so many puzzles you can do which is perfect! I appreciated the variety of puzzle that they had and it was nice because everyone was always working on something. This is also super unique since it's a former bank! Definitely worth the try! Villains Vendetta: This room is a lot smaller compared to knightfall and Inside job but it utilized the space well. There were so many puzzles - some easy, some challenging. It was super fun and I loved the theming and decorations. Knightfall: If you're into medieval themed rooms, this is the room for you! I loved the interactive pieces through out the room.
