We did start going down the wrong path a few times but were redirected (using the order of found clues vs an inherent order vs order established by another clue). The locks were straightforward, no specialized knowledge needed. We were able to come in early after our brunch and use the complimentary lockers for our items. We had to make restitutions to regain lost time for doing something naughty in the game.
