I live in the neighborhood and this is one of the best spots in the area - not just in Piermont. Great for date night, solo dinner at the bar, or catching up with friends. Cozy yet lovely and with casual elegance about it. High quality ingredients and flavorful dishes as well. Pizzas are excellent as are the pastas and salads.

This is the best food ever, upscale Sicilian food with still the home feel It is grandmas house with a cute cafe vibe The food is absolutely delicious The red sauce is perfect The Seafood is plump, fresh and perfect parings. The eggplant zucchini parm is to die for If you grew up with this kind of food you will be in heaven, if you love Italian food you will be happy The bread when seated with the garlic popcorn is to die for The pizza is wonderful with amazing choices Great wine selection also It's comfortable enough for a date or a quick dinner casual

This is an exceptional trattoria with caring and kind wait staff. What a menu! Simple food that beams with passion for their craft. I was totally blown away by their caramelized garlic, served with their excellent pizza Bianca bread. I couldn't wait to get more. Glistening and crisp. My companion ordered the tuna Niçoise salad made with real European tuna, not cheap white Americanized fish flesh. It was redolent of exceptional in every bite. I dined on a margarita pizza. Charred just right and served sizzling hot from their wood fired pizza oven. Delicious. Worth the drive up from mendham Nj We didn't have dessert but shared a lovely bottle of Italian sparkling water that wasn't Pellegrino (appreciate trying new liquids!!) A wonderful experience and worthy of your time.

Tried to give it one more shot and it still falls flat on its face. Charges way too much for bland food

Based on recommendations that Trattoria Da Vittorio was an authentic Italian restaurant, and because I love the cuteness of Piermont, I decided to have my birthday party with a dozen friends at the restaurant. It absolutely did not hurt that they were having a fall weekend special with reduced prices and drinks for early seating. The place was an absolute hit with my friends who praised the experience and the food. Everything was yummy, we all shared bits of what we ordered. The zuppa di pesce was a special standout and the gelato was insanely good. I literally have not had gelato with such vivid flavor since I was in Italy. If you are in Piermont you should give this cozy little place a try.

If you're looking for authentic Italian dining, this is the place -- there's nothing like it in the area. Every detail, from the ingredients to the presentation, shows true craftsmanship. The menu is extensive, but they also offer wonderful off-menu specials. I tried a variety of dishes -- the mussels and fish were incredibly fresh, the pizza and bread were perfectly made, and the dry-aged Tomahawk steak was absolutely out of this world -- melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Even when you're full, the flavors are so good you find room for more. The desserts deserve their own spotlight -- I tried them all, and every one was outstanding. Truly some of the best I've had anywhere. The atmosphere is warm and versatile: it's perfect for a romantic date, but just as ideal for bringing family or friends for a celebration. You don't have to dress upscale, but dressing nicely adds to the experience and makes the night feel special. Service is excellent -- the entire staff is attentive, kind, and admirable in how much pride they take in the restaurant. On weekends, they even have a special $5 drink offer, which is an unbelievable value for a place of this quality. Bring your friends, bring your family, share a few drinks, and eat like royalty. Between the authenticity, the atmosphere, and the unforgettable food, you simply can't beat this place.

Great restaurant! Feels like a small hometown restaurant run by family. The food is excellent and very consistent from one visit to the next. The aesthetic is warm and cozy, well-executed. Prepare to spend some money. Definitely a reservation recommended for three or more people. Service is easy and warm, but dont let yourself be in a rush; be patient and you'll find this is a new favorite place.

The centerpiece of this restaurant in my opinion is the beautiful horse shoe shaped bar in the middle of the restaurant. I typically enjoy a nice clean and clear bar so you can fall into the feeling of the restaurant and see what is happening all around. This bar had bottles of wines lining the bar, in my opinion I would remove the bottles and allow for a more open feel. Personally I felt that the bottles created a barrier between me and the bar tender. The outside tables are tables typically for 2 or 4 people with banquet seating and then chairs. Oh, my God How's this boy treating you? Very good wonderful started The service was attentive but not over bearing which created a relaxed feeling.. I was looking for a wine and cheese bar for a night our for myself. I wanted a place that I have not been to before and yelp directed me here Wines on Aug range from 15 and up for a glass which is not outrageous in price. They had a nice selection of wines and I stepped out of ny own comfort zone of a cab and tried the house Pinot Noir accompanied by the B6 board. Overall I was satisfied with the meat and cheese selection and baguette that was served with it had a nice oil on it. Presentation was well done with one exception in my mind, the breads ticks came in a package. Presentation factor went down with that. Take one of the small wife carafe used to serve the wine and present it in that. Overall I felt something was missing but could not put my finger on it. Overall this place has a great date night vibe.

This restaurant is known for authentic Spanish small plates, generous paellas, imported Spanish ingredients, decadent desserts, and wonderful warm bread to start your culinary meal with. The seafood paellas are portion perfect ie; large, the tapas favorites include garlic shrimp, octopus, croquetas, Iberico ham, lamb chops, and seasonal specials. Because the dining room is relatively small, expect a noisy environment. Weekend waits can be long because of this restaurant's popularity, but it is so worth the wait. If one arrives early, there will be no problem with sitting at the bar or nabbing a table. The staff is friendly, the clientele is neighborly, and you're guaranteed to enjoy your restaurant experience here. For Piermont, it's one of the strongest dining experiences available, particularly if one enjoys sharing plates. If you're going for the first time, I'd order the garlic shrimp, a few tapas to share, and one of the paellas for the table. That confused me.. lol She told us it would be 15-20 minutes wait. as she was taking our info another group of 4 walked up; the guy that took their info was quicker so they go ahead of us on the list. We waited anyway about 25 minutes. My mom had to go back to the hostess station since we saw 3 empty tables. FFWD, Alex was not our server, but maybe the busser. He was great. He was attentive and friendly and helpful. He seriously should be promoted. He did more than our server. We asked for bread for the table, ordered the whipped ricotta app. we got the app, never got the bread. Asked for ice, never got that until Alex came by and got that right away. He was great! Our entrees were the quinoa burger, chicken caesar sandwich and turkey clubs. They were all good, nothing incredible. Maybe dinner is better. The view is spectacular, the food is great and the service was meh, other that Alex, who we appreciate!

The octopus was divine - would come back for this specifically. We split entrées and ordered the short ribs, orrecchiette, and Chilean sea bass. Pretty big portions and the flavor to match! A huge kudos to the hostess up front, who navigated a pretty grumpy crowd with such grace. Understandably, it was a very busy day, and the restaurant was packed.
