This is now a Motel 6! This review is based on using the room JUST to sleep in after a concert. We are semi-local, not on vacation, and not intending on spending any amount of time here. I booked a non-smoking room and it absolutely had been previously smoked in. The stench of cigarettes was pretty heavy. We tried to run the AC to air it out but that didn't work so well as I'm sure the smoke was in the unit but it was 90 out so opening the windows wasn't going to work either. (We also did not have time before our event to ask for a different room - we had to toss our bags and get out the door). The AC was nice/crisp. While the fridge was old it ran COLD which I really appreciated. There was an older microwave as well. The bed was incredibly comfortable as were the linens. Pillows were at the end of their life but still just fine. Staff was very kind. Check in/out seamless and probably the fastest I've ever had. It was also incredibly quiet both at night and in the morning! Not a single peep on a Saturday night. The room itself was quite a bit bigger than I'm used to for the price point. It had modern wall plug-ins which accommodated USB ports. Everything was clean. For $130 and a crash pad this was solid. It's a barebones room but it was comfortable. If it didn't smell like smoke it would have been perfect for our use. Would I recommend it for a longer stay? Eh, on the fence there. It really straddled the line for things I liked and things I didn't like and it really depends on how many amenities you enjoy and how much time you plan on being in the room. Weekend trip where you're maybe going to watch a movie at night max? Go for it. Week trip where you'll want some additional downtime? No. Would I stay here again? Yep - but I'd definitely ask for a different room next time! read more

My friend booked this place and it was her first time booking so she obviously sucks. There was a mouse chasing us at first check in. The receptionist told us that she's never seen a mouse here ever and that the rooms are very clean. I've had men lie to my face but damn that girl LIEDDDDDD. Marks on the walls. Broken shower head. Old bed sheets with holes. Rips on the couch. Stains on the floor. We took anti anxiety meds just to go to sleep and had a taser next to us. I was pleasantly surprised! It's not luxury accommodations but the staff are super nice and the place has an old Southern California look and feel that I miss with the big chain motels. This place is good for the money! However it's a bit run down on the exterior going upstairs there's a section of the floor you can feel sink with your weight on it. And the room I'm in does NOT have the traditional security latch over the door all hotels are required to have. Only booked this place because there was no other places available because of Memorial day weekend & couldn't find a decent priced place instead. Cons: Floors dirty & stained. Sheets & pillows had so many stains & cigarette holes in them. Blanket had so many cigarette holes on it & looked like it has never been washed. Pillow looked like it has never been changed since WWII. I tried calling the front desk with hotel phone but it seemed like it didn't work at all. I was so disgusted with the sheets & pillows that I then tried to call the front desk to request for new bed sheets & pillow sheets. It took them forever to bring them up, I had to call again for these items to be brought up. Pros: There's 3 channels of free weird porn available. hahaha.. Bathroom & toilet was clean compared to the rest of the room. My purpose for using this motel was to have a place to sleep and shower while visiting friends in town. The beds were clean and firm. the water was hot and the AC was cold. the TV worked fine. The fridge kept my V8 cold for morning. i asked for WiFi and was placed in a room where the signal was strong. i have a bum knee and was given a first floor room. The room rate was very fair considering how close the motel is to all the things I wanted to do. Like restaurants , go to the ball game or use the lake. The motel staff was polite ,considerate and tended to my few requests in a timely manner. That was the pros. The cons were few: The towels and wash cloths were worn and small. One wash cloth looked as though it were used to wipe a dipstick. But, we were given clean towels on request. The carpet in 117 appeared dirty and stained. But I was not there to lay on it or eat from it. My socks remained clean after walking on it. all the same it should be cleaned. I did read the other reviews on this motel. I had already made my reservations. I felt that reviewer may have had some personal issues that she needed to resolve . yelp is not the place to vent anger. I could not believe anyone would consider staying here. There were stains on the floor, hair around the toilet, and stains in the shower. The electrical wiring from the light and fan in the bathroom was sticking out. The room smelled like someone smoked in it. There was a microwave on the night stand and the outlets were all shorted out. Did I mention that the microwave hadn't been cleaned, like ever. They give you towels the size of dish towels and you can't ask for more without giving them back the ones you used. They make you check out the remote for the tv and the wifi was so slow. Let me start by saying that this establishment is very good for a place to stay for sleeping and showering. If thats not your needs then by all means look somewhere else. I must say that the staff here was great! Especially the man at the main lobby! Took care of all our needs and did what he could to make our stay comfortable. Me and my team traveled to this area for the first weekend of march 2017 for a paintball event. And our room was satisfying to our liking. Our room was clean, and cleaned well after while we were away during the day. Pro/ cons -We noticed there wasn't enough towels for us however the man swiftly delivered us more. If you want soft towels then by all mean bring your own. - helpful and attentive staff - decent size fridge for left over drinks and food - plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby -right off the freeways makes it easy to spot and travel. -Lack of wall outlets -Outdated tv (didnt really care) -Microwave in some rooms (again not a big deal, theres plenty of food nearby) -some of the guest seem sketchy, but stick to your own business and no one will bother you. In my experiences, we had no problems that bothered our stay. Gave a 4 instead of 5 because a 5 will most likely be somewhere much more "eye appealing" but a 4 serves the right recognition for a place for bed and shower. We will have a trailer for next year but parked at the event, and will gladly stay here again. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE! We brought my fiances mom and little brother to stay here while they visited from out of town. The man at the desk told her no visitors no parties etc also made it a point to tell her they have cameras everywhere and will see everything. When we grabbed their bags out of my car the guy at the desk came outside stopping us telling us no visitors. I said ok and simply asked him why. He got upset and said if there's a problem i said no i was only curious i told him we are just helping them take their bags to their room and he wouldn't let us. I told him we are family and he told my mother in law come with me Ill give you your money back. And he kicked them out before they even got to their room. I set up a crew of our workers to stay at this hotel because it was the least expensive hotel that was anywhere near the station we were working on. The first night they were there, the room was not cleaned - the manager stated he thought they only wanted "towel service." The manager claims that after that night, the rooms were cleaned regularly. On the other hand, my crew is telling me that "regular" cleaning is exactly as described in all of the other yelp! reviews - regularly bad. I spoke with the manager, and he pointed out he is the cheapest hotel in the area, and if we wanted "clean" or "quality" we should have paid more. Lesson learned. Won't EVER send anyone here again, and advise you to avoid if possible. read more

Last time I rented a room here, I found a loaded syringe under my bed! I informed the staff and they said there was nothing they could do about it. They didn't even offer to come into my room and throw it away! This place is really gross. Was laying in bed and am convinced I felt something move across my leg. Ended up sleeping in the chair for about an hour while my fiancé slept fine in bed (he's not grossed out as easy as me). The towels were dirty (one had yellow sports, one had brown chunks). AC works fine. Got a non-smoking room but everything smells like smoke. Didn't use the shower because we were only here for one day, but it looks gross. Also, it's strange that they give you your TV remote at the same time as the room key. However, if you're into free porn (I'm not) there are 3 channels available. Absolutely the worst, most unwelcoming experience I have ever, first the manager told me I'm not allowed to have visitors at all or I'll be kicked out with no refund, then I was told I'm not allowed to smoke outside because he doesnt want the owner to watch the camera and see me in my pajamas smoking a cigarette outside the room I rented because he was afraid his manager might think I was homeless, after that, I was carrying in groceries and he totally invaded my privacy, entered the room without asking, and then made a comment that I bought chicken and asked what my plans with it were and that he hoped I wasnt planning on cooking it there.... idk who the fuck he thinks he is but I hope to god this place gets shut down because these people do bot belong in the hospitality business. He had been extremely rude at every encounter. He accused me of stealing a quarter out of the change dispenser of the soda machine and refused to refund any money due to my unpleasant stay... and constantly at every opportunity threatened to kick myself out... I was a quiet tenant that only was there from 8pm to 8am and I find it miraculous that he found so many opportunities to make me feel unwelcome... my mother had an accident and this was the only hotel that her dog could stay at so she tried it out yesterday and she is severely disabled neither myself or her caretaker were permitted to enter to help her without hearing that shes going to be kicked out... this man doesnt deserve to run a business at all... no professionalism and he steals every penny he can... biggest scumbag over met. The ABSOLUTE worst ever.. EVER in the history of man. The only thing that would have been worse, would be to have found a dead body in the room. Friend and I check in here for a wedding near by. First glance.. no big issues.. funny they hand you the TV remote on check in (first flag). Get to the room, #219 to be exact. Getting situated in the room, first thing we notice is it seems the door had been kicked in at some point, the trim around the frame was missing where the door latch had been. Start the shower.. brown rusty water coming out of the faucet. :sigh: let it run clear. (5th) Towels she brought, have dirt rings on them.. grey dirt rings.. Opt to air dry instead. Keep in mind it was midnight and we spent 10min outside in the cold before she even came up to help us. This place was horrible! It is literally just a place to sleep. They advertised a continental breakfast, what my kids got was a prepackaged honeybun the only beverage offered was coffee. Since when is a continental breakfast just two items! The kids wanted to go swimming it was so dirty and unkept I wouldn't let them go. First of all it's right next to this shady looking bridge where people seem to be camping. Then you get to the actual hotel, and it looks dated and run down. Instant bad vibes. There were 2 prostitutes checking in when we got there. We read bad reviews, but thought we would give them the benefit of the doubt. We checked in and parked, inspected the room, and immediately asked for a refund. There was blood spatter on the walls, hairs in the towels, a handprint on the wall that looked to be painted over, and a crept crawl space in the ceiling! There was also a fresh meal in the microwave, like someone was coming back for it. Everything about this place was scary. I was in fear of my well being if we stayed the night. I don't think I would have gotten a minute of sleep there. I can't make this up people. I've stayed at some pretty bad places, but this takes the cake by far! If you've ever seen the movie No Vacancy...well that's exactly what this place reminds me off. Rethink staying here. I had absolutely no problems with this place. I felt like it deserved more than the two stars it currently has. It was in walking distance to the event I was going to - Warrior Dash, which was a major plus. The towels were clean, no stains. The room was clean, no stains. They were the only hotel in the area that allowed my dog to stay in the room with me :) They provided a fridge and microwave, and had coffee and danishes in the lobby when I checked out in the morning! I wouldn't give this place a star if someone paid me. My fiance and I were exhausted from a wedding and we just decided on wanting a hotel room to sleep off the wedding. What we got I wouldn't even consider a motel or a hotel room. Walking into check-in you can't help but be weirded out by the remote giving for each room. To be honest I can't remember what room we were put into, however it was in the back building on the second level. Upon walking into the room it smells like a dirty portable bathroom that's been baking in the heat for hours on end. It was incredibly hot in there and in the short time we were in the room it never cooled down a degree. The first thing I did was drop my stuff and head to use the restroom--I found a dirty bathroom and about enough toilet paper to wipe myself after urinating. My fiance went to go ask for some more toilet paper and he came back. The appearance of the room is majorly dated, which wouldn't be an issue if they took care of their stuff. While wanting to get some sleep I went to pull back the cover and found an extremely stained sheet and blanket underneath. This place is something straight out of a horror movie where people get killed or raped. The porn they have on TV is so many levels above this motel it's incredibly sad. I can't imagine why people don't have more reviews like this. I would have rather slept on a park bench with the homeless folks. My fiance and I are middle class individuals and probably on the lower end. We usually stay in a motel 6 or super 8 style place but this is the worst thing i've ever experienced. Exhaustion set in and I was just DONE. We spent the next half hour or so trying to locate another place with any sort of vacancy. We finally found a place and went to try and talk to the gentlemen running the office on October 4th at about 10:30PM. He accused us of "using" the room for drugs, sex or to shower. I'm sorry but I wouldn't be paid to shower or take any portion of my clothes off in that room. He then continued to be extremely rude and not professional and claimed there was no way we could get our money back as it had been over an hour. So for $85 we got absolutely bottom of the barrel service. I will be phoning in and complaining. Got to the hotel on a Saturday morning, The owner checked us in. When i reserved the room it was $60 + taxes online, When we got there she said it was $5 more for an extra person.... Got to the room and it seemed to be a decent room for the price. The first thing that caught my eye was some white stain on the green carpet.. lovely. Next i noticed the towels were disheveled and torn, still thought it wasnt that big of a deal, towels are towels... went about our day, went out that night and got back to the hotel at 1am. It had been raining outside and probably 40 degrees. Our key DID NOT open the door, we must have tried 20 times to open it... Called downstairs to the owner and she came up with her universal key, that STILL DIDNT OPEN OUR DOOR. She then told us she had to go downstairs to check someone in who was waiting.... SO NOW WE'VE BEEN STANDING OUTSIDE IN THE RAIN (there is no overhang) for 10 minutes.. She then comes back upstairs with a large tool and asks us if we want to wait in the vacant room next door (UHH YEA THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN NICE IF YOU OFFERED 10 MINUTES AGO) as she blames the door being stuck due to the rain. ( right?) .... to the point... she got the door open after being outside for 20 minutes.
