    Cute little cable car table/booth

New and improved diner in Bridgeport, has some minor growing/new business pains. But the food was great and worth a wait. Southwestern BBQ chicken was excellent with just the right amount of sweet and spicy with perfectly crispy fries . The Ruben always a classic but the star for our table was the hash browns. Crispy outside seasoned well with a little spice and soft tasty inside. Will definitely return Secret fun tip look for hidden gnomes literally stamped all over the diner. Not even the owner knows how many there are as the contractor did it for fun LOVE IT!!!

Stopped into the traveling gnome for the first time. We went at 10am on a Saturday and were seated right away. I ordered the cinnamon roll waffle. My husband got the apple fudder bites. Both were delicious. The cinnamon sauce on the waffle wasn't overly sweet which was nice.

Food was fantastic. The atmosphere and decor of the diner is great. You'll never run out of things to look at. The staff was very busy, but tried to stay very attentive. Would definitely go back there again.

Such a cute diner. I heard the waitress mention that the new owners purchased the diner and completely renovated it. I think the gnome theme was a great idea seeing they are so popular right now. I read some previous ratings that said the service was slow but they have worked that out because we were seated immediately and from the time we ordered we had our food in about 15 minutes. I ordered the pulled pork hash and eggs with a biscuit. The pork tasted smoked and was tasty but I didn't like that some of the cubed potatoes were hard and not seasoned. The eggs were over easy and cooked perfectly. The biscuit was homemade. I will come back when in the area and try something else.

Such a cute diner! It was worth the drive from Liverpool. I went there as part of a big group and had the option of choosing from their extensive breakfast or dinner menu. Our server immediately took our drink orders and in the meanwhile we got to meet the lovely owners and heard about their fascinating travel stories with their gnome. Coming to the food, I got the boujee grilled cheese sandwich and carrot cake (not pictured). The sandwich was delicious- filled with gooey cheese, avocado, tomato, bacon and fried egg. The sweet potatoes fries on the side could have been more crispy. The cake was out of this world- not at all dry with slightly sweet cream cheese frosting. One of the best I have had. Our server was polite and gave good suggestions. The service was a bit slow for the food. I am assuming it was because of the sudden rush of people. I would love to come back here and try one of their themed breakfasts.

Super cute diner. Their theming is cute and they have fun gondola tables. Food selection is good. Lots to choose from on the menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I went for breakfast and had their play on a frittata and the house made dessert for that day was a tiramisu. Yummy!

Just visited today and thoroughly pleased. Great food, clean, with cute decor. Friendly and attentive staff. Even the check was delivered with a Hershey kiss from a gnome

Breakfast itself was very basic diner fare -- eggs, toast, and the usual staples. Nothing fancy, but it was inexpensive and filled the plate. The atmosphere gave me strong old truck-stop diner vibes. Some people may appreciate that nostalgic roadside feel, but for me the restaurant felt a bit dirty and very worn down, like it hasn't had much maintenance or updating in quite a long time. One of the people dining with me ordered a lunch special of beef and mashed potatoes, and unfortunately it was extremely greasy and didn't seem freshly made. It was bad enough that they couldn't finish it. Another downside for me was that the diner is cash-only. We rarely carry cash, so we had to use the ATM, which added extra cost to the visit. Overall, Flo's is definitely a very old-school diner experience -- cheap food, tiny coffee prices, and a truck-stop style atmosphere. I'm sure that works perfectly for some people looking for a quick, inexpensive meal, but it just wasn't the right fit for me.

Great breakfast!…read more Annette's Lakeside Country Kitchen is a casual breakfast and lunch restaurant serving traditional American food, located adjacent to Lakeside Auction in Bernhards Bay. Enter the building through the main glass door and hang right for the restaurant, which behind a plain looking door. The bright dining room has close to 15 tables and seating at the counter. I stopped in at Annette's for breakfast recently. The place was steady with several groups of diners arriving for Sunday breakfast. Annette's seems like the place to be for locals from Constantia and Cleveland. I took a seat at an open table and the waitress arrived with menu. They had a few specials posted on the board and I ordered the Country Omelet Special ($9.99) and a glass of ice water. The food arrived hot 15 minutes later. The portion of food was filling, which was comprised of a folded soft egg sheet filled with shredded hash brown potatoes, sliced ham, onions, and topped with melted cheese (I chose pepper jack) and two thick slices of homemade buttered wheat toast, mixed fruit jam packets on the table. Breakfast was excellent and I barely finished my food. The service was courteous and I wasn't rushed. I would return here again if I happen to be traveling on NY 49 along the north shore of Oneida Lake.

Sadly, a train didn't go by but it is hard to fault the diner for that. It has a compact footprint with about a half-dozen booths and some chairs at the bar/grill. I counted at least seven employees while we were there and they all were working hard. They were friendly, though busy. I ordered a burger and fries, my wife had a cold tuna sandwich, and my son had pancakes. My burger was very greasy and not cooked as I ordered it but it was good. It started to fall apart upon picking it up (the lettuce and tomato weren't helping matters) and I resorted to a fork and knife. The fries were very good. My wife ordered her sandwich twice and they still didn't get it correct, though they took care of it on the bill (which we weren't expecting). The pancakes were thick and chewy, but I really liked them and wish I had ordered them instead. Considering the staff walked place our booth at least 20 times during our visit I was never offered a refill, and we were only checked on once. Perhaps they expect you to complain if you need something. I dunno, but I hope to be back sometime in the future when the trains are running. Note: at 1:45 we were leaving and they dumped a ton of onions on the grill to cook. No idea who was going to eat them, but perhaps that is how they get customers out at closing time!
