9/30/2016 we checked in at 9:30pm and we noticed a dark red splatter on the wall. We called the front desk and asked to be moved. They said they are fully booked and the housekeeping is not available till the morning. We returned the room cards and left to another hotel. They did not offer a refund. We did not cancel our reservation they the hotel failed to provide a clean room for its paying customer. We are waiting for corporate to look into this matter and get back to us. New Jersey, USA

We packed our bags and headed up to Flagstaff for some reprieve. A little nervous taking our 2 year old but based on the reviews, we took a chance. I'm beyond grateful we did. Our hotel room was exactly what we needed, two beds, plenty of space, updated, mini fridge, mini microwave, bathtub to bathe little, super comfy beds and blackout shades to get some well deserved rest (if you have kids - you know). We only checked out the restaurant for breakfast and it was okay - nothing amazing but also not bad. The waitstaff were very pleasant and timely. The amenities are what really stole the show. The park was actually perfect for our toddler to run around, get dirty and make some new friends. It's well designed to accommodate kids of all ages and actually entertained me as mom too. We met plenty of other parents there with their littles which made it that much better. We planned to check out the pool but our son was on explorer mode so the trails, basketball court and park took up his time. The only downside to our stay, was that our bathtub drain was clogged so our showers were so fun with standing water up to our ankles. We did call a few times but no one ever came to fix it (maintenance was tied up with the pool I later heard and it was a holiday weekend so maybe they were short staffed). I called and spoke with the front desk who offered us a comp toward our bill for the inconvenience which was appreciated. Overall we had a lovely stay and plan to return in the winter for their Christmas festivities.

We had double room and one of them had sofa that can be spread up, so it could fit 6 people in total. Breakfast was nice, eggs, sausage, pancakes machine, bagels, muffins, cereal, and fruits.... Pool was clean and never to busy. Most of the time our family was the only one on the pool. There is a parking lot outside from all around hotel so we always had place to park. Nice staff and we didn't have any issues. There is very good pizza place next to it NiMarco's pizza, Jack in the box and two Mexican restaurants. Everything else you would need a car to go.

It was already 9pm and I wasn't going to try to find another place. But if I paid and was told $105 then they should have honored that. Supposedly the dog free wasnt added..... not my problem... I told the people I had a dog and they had asked me a bunch of questions about her. My daughter jumped up because there was a bug on her bed, I told her to get up and I checked between the mattress to see if they had bedbugs but didnt see anything. They have security cameras everywhere. The backdoor is supposed to be locked between 11p-6am but was locked far after that. We left about 930 and was still locked. Walls are very thin... could hear the neighbors conversation and people watching tv well into 3am. They have a indoor pool that we didn't have time to check out. But there was a bunch of kids in there that said they were having a lot of fun. Breakfast was I believe 6-10am but not for sure. They had bread, bagels, pancakes, eggs, sausage (my dog wouldn't even it that), yogurt, 2 cereals and a couple juices

Nope, not particularly a fan of this Best Western Pony Soldier Inn & Suites in Flagstaff, AZ…read more When I arrived at around 7:00 PM, I was welcomed by a very nice lady at the front desk. I wish her counterpart the next morning had been a bit more warm and not so snobbish. It was pouring down rain on November 22, 2025, when I checked in, so the mood was already quite sour. Then the spot where I parked was overflowing with rain water. Unloading with two kids plus a dog was adventurous to say the least. Lol. The room was disappointing. Small. Everywhere I turned almost everything was outdated. Not the cleanest. Torn, dirty top bedding. Cold with the air conditioning running as soon as we walked in. It had a fridge, yet, no microwave. Weird. The in-room hair dryer was super weak. I should have brought my own. Breakfast was across the other parking lot in a huge sloped-roof building. It was quite nice. Oddly, the nicest thing. I like the self-serve yogurt area. The toppings were limited, but I really do love yogurt for breakfast. The indoor pool was also in this vicinity. The major plus was that this hotel was dog-friendly. The pet fee was $25. There was also a pet area with a pet waste bag receptacle provided. My canine refused to relieve herself in the pouring down rain, so at 2:30 AM when she could no long hear it, she woke me up and we walked out this way. It was well-lit at night. My total bill for a double queen, one adult, two kids, and a dog was $185.39. I don't think I'll be back.
