Dishonest. Bait and switch. Avoid! Responded to email solicitation for Travers to by my vehicle. Received confirmation in writing (text message from sales rep who I spoke to on the phone also) of a range for value of the vehicle pending their inspection. It unfortunately lost a $10 relay in their parking lot during inspection causing a temporary starting issue but that was promptly addressed and the vehicle subsequently ran great. They made a final-offer $1800 below the low end of the range *committed in writing* (text message) but couldn't tell me anything wrong with the vehicle and would not honor their commitment. This was a 1.5 hour drive each way. Don't waste your time and effort on a dealership that practices dishonest sales like this. read more

I was Leary at first going here but we were looking for a Jeep Wrangler and they had the perfect vehicle or so we thought. The process was pushy but we are used to that. After the negotiations we bought our 2018 Jeep Wrangler from them. The vehicle had 15,000 miles on it when we bought it. The salesman told us it had the balance of the manufacture warranty on it so what could go wrong. We started having an issue with the Jeep so we took it in to Lou Fusz and had them look it it. We were told that the vehicle was bought out of Canada and had NO warranty on it. I repeat NO warranty on it. I should have went with my gut but I didn't. So I have a vehicle with no warranty on it. Avoid this place. They will do anything and say anything. Very disappointed. read more

Dont buy a vehicle here, we bought a truck there three yrs. ago and they told it was from Michigan. After a year the whole trucks rocker panels were completely rusted through, the bed was rusted through and when we tried to trade it in the other month we were told it was from Canada and our trade in value was around half of what was worth because it was from Canada. They were not completely honest with us and that's is bad business. Dont but any used vehicles from this dealership. read more

0 STAR ALERT. I bought a traverse in January and since I've left the lot it has been the worst experience ever. Do not buy from them! Travers is the epitome of a "used car lot", they will do everything and anything to maximize their profits and disappoint their customers. The salesmen will say anything to get you to sign. The managers will not return your phone calls. Here is just one example of how your experience will go... my vehicle was on EMPTY after I signed... they ran around for 30 minutes claiming they couldn't find the gas card... finally I said I'll leave and they could fill it up when they promised to detail and deodorize (in writing on what they call an "I owe you"). It is March and I still haven't gotten a phone call back after dozens of time trying to schedule what they promised. IF YOU DO DECIDE YOU HAVE TO BUY FROM THEM, EVERYTHING MUST BE IN WRITING. DO NOT TRUST A HANDSHAKE IT WILL NOT GET DONE AND YOUU WILL BE ON THE HOOK FOR WHATEVER THEY PROMISED. I had a buddy buy from them, same terrible experience.. You've been warned! read more

I wanted to add this review because I only found one review and it was negative. The positive reviews I found were all not recommended. I think that's unfair. I inquired about a truck my husband had his eye on, and was told by the salesman that I would get a $250 referral bonus if I convinced him to come in and buy it. We ended up going in, asking for that salesman, and buying the truck that day. When I asked about the referral, I was told it would be mailed after everything was finalized, and we were told we would get a referral bonus for any friends or family we referred as well. Shortly after, we referred a neighbor who went in and asked for the same salesman, mentioned the referral and our names, and also bought a vehicle. We inquired about the referrals several times and were told they weren't coming, with various excuses, because the salesman no longer works there, a different salesman ended up helping our friend, etc. They will tell you anything to sell the vehicle, but don't believe them unless it's in writing. The manager was also clueless about processes, and beat around the bush with an "I owe you" on the vehicle. They just seemed very disorganized, and didn't follow through once papers were signed and commitments were made. We really liked the salesman, but the manager was rough to work with. read more

I found a truck I liked using Cargurus.com, which was located at this dealership. I inquired about the truck via e-mail and began corresponding with a salesman there. I was clear multiple times what my non-negotiable parameters (monthly amount and length of loan) were and asked if this truck would fit. I lived 2hrs away so I didn't want to make the trip if it wasn't possible. Which I was also very clear with. Not getting any clear answers, and receiving several other truck options from him (which were more expensive than what I was looking at) I said I would just move on. He proceeded to clarify what my situation was (did I have money I could put down, am I trading in anything) and I said I could maybe put some additional money down. After I said that, he came back and told me he talked with his manager and he said he could make it work in my budget. Excitedly, I agreed to make the drive and buy my truck. After the test drive went great, we sat down to do the paper work, and he delivered a crushing blow. The amount they offered was $40/mo higher than what I told him I would be willing to go AND A FULL YEAR longer on the loan than what I was willing to go. I felt extremely lied to and manipulated, I was angry for making the drive, and I felt stupid for believing this guy was really going to make this work for me. Never will I ever consider working with a business that operates like this. read more
