This spot is pretty cute and local in Aspinwall! They make their own ice creams which I love and they have pretty good flavors! I really liked my coffee cashew and my friend liked her creamsicle flavor. I wish they had more flavors and dairy free options since that would be awesome. I was hoping for soft serve but they only have hard ice cream. Love that they use Redhawk coffee since they're local and they have cool food options here too. You can get affogatos and ice cream nachos. Girls who were working there were nice too and it wasn't crazy busy. There was nice seating outside and inside.

A kid-friendly, quick-service, small business in Aspinwall serving ice cream, and small bites. It seemed like a one-woman show but not sure. I think this place can be bustling with a few modifications: more ice cream choices with the ice cream selection in front, additional menu items, refinements to the decor, enhanced cleanliness, addition of board games, or organization of existing board games, a ketchup, relish & mustard station or having those on the table for kids. The ice cream was pretty yummy but unclear if it's home-made. I certainly hope this small business succeeds as we welcome in the spring and summer season!

Aspinwall: a charming, riverfront community + peanut butter chocolate pretzel scoop

Cure little family-friendly shop for grill food (soft pretzel, hot dog) and ice cream (including milkshakes and a brownie sundae). I had a scoop of the peanut butter chocolate pretzel, which was okay (could have used more chocolate-covered pretzel bits). Flavors of ice cream without chocolate were limited, and hubby didn't want the non-dairy cherry lime, so he had a cherry soda. We parked in the lot across the street, which still charged 25 cents for the hour on Sunday, or 30 cents if you didn't have change and had to use the app. Staff were nice.

Service is great. Ice cream is delicious. There were puzzles and games to pass the time. Spoons change color when they get cold.

Love this addition to Aspinwall. Ice cream flavors that rotate weekly, friendly staff, and very kid-friendly atmosphere.

The place is a wonderful concept just needs some tweaking. Ice cream needs to be a bit harder as it was very soft and melty.

I tried this cute small biz vegan ice cream shop in sharpsburg pa tonight that I heard of from a…read morefriend. I am not vegan. I am lactose intolerant, not a big eater or sweet eater so vegan matches my taste buds and needs a little better than real ice cream. I had a small strawberry shortcake sundae which was the right size (very nice workers said the large size is for sharing). I forgot to say no whipped cream, I'm so used to not eating whipped cream I forgot to try the vegan version nooo but I ate all of the sundae which is not like me! It was just right, not too heavy or sweet like I prefer. Very jam packed with flavor in small pieces. The prices match the costs of the product for vegan ingredients and a place like this is hard to find in the area. They seem to do great! Have sundaes, shakes, take home pints, cones, cups and other. It is small being as not enough standing room for more than 5-6 customers so grab and go style. Check out their neat menu (& the pup's jealousy)! Recommend and love it! Worth the drive. It was hard to spot for us at first as wasn't super noticeable, street parking seems all available.

My daughter loved it! I did too. We tried peanut butter chocolate ripple and pumpkin caramel cream. I liked them both! The PB ripple was very peanut buttery, which is my favorite ice cream flavor. The chocolate ripple was pretty liquid, not like a thick fudge ripple. It added a sugary flavor which balanced the creamy chocolate, but it wasn't very well distributed through the ice cream, so you'd get a mostly chocolate syrup bite, and then the rest of the dish was only PB. I slightly preferred the pumpkin caramel, which was a mix of a creamy vanilla caramel ice cream, with almost a marshmallow texture and flavor, as well as a very strong pumpkin spice ice cream. The pumpkin was maybe a little much, it was almost bitter, but it was so nicely distributed and balanced by the sweet creamy flavor I didn't mind much. Even though the flavor combos weren't completely spot on, I thought the texture and flavor of the ice cream base itself was pretty much unbelievable for a vegan product. It was thick and creamy. Melted like a dream!
