However to try to tell me I was going to be charged half for being within 24 hours when I set it up in store and then they canceled because they caught they didn't have it all?? We used the self wash. What an amazing experience! For $16 a dog I don't have to worry about mess or materials. You get your own room so you can wash multiple dogs without having to worry about them running off or bringing them in shifts. The staff was unbelievably kind helpful Sarah and Chelsea were working behind the counter when we were there. The online booking left something to be desired but I called in and got an appointment same day. If you need a quick wash in between grooming appointments I would highly recommend stopping by! read more

A recent trip to Treats Unleashed included a scheduled dog grooming appointment for my sweet cavapoo, Nora. This was her fourth grooming at TU, our first with Melanie, a groomer new to this store. She was very nice, and reminded me of a trendy beautician: stylish and friendly. I was told Melanie had many years of experience, so I wasn't worried. Previous grooms with Beth and Jackie had gone well. (One of those groomers has left. I forget which one. I'm sorry.) I returned before Nora's grooming was finished. Apparently Nora spied me through the glass--before Melanie was finished--and my pup said "Yo! I'm outta here, lady. My mom is waiting!" When Melanie brought Nora out, she apologized for a gouged bit of hair on Nora's head from when she got antsy about seeing me. No problem. I get it. Nora and I are practically joined at the ankle. (She's too small for us to be joined at the hip.) I told you all that to tell you this. The quality of her groom was disappointing. Her nails were trimmed but not filed. Her groom overall was uneven, so she lacked that crazy evenness that a curly dog gets only after a blowout and trim. As soon as she gets wet, BOING! She's all curls and shaggy dog. Treats Unleashed itself is a nice shop in terms of offering baked goods, treats, and premium toys and foods for your pet. They also provide DIY dog washing stalls. I haven't tried these because my dog is small. I can see the real value for those with large dogs, especially the ones who resist tub time. Treats Unleashed has several locations and has regular promotions around the St. Louis area. You can get on their mailing list and get involved. For customer service and treat choices, I prefer Bentley's Pet Stuff. For grooming, I must say I'm disappointed. Just 2.5 stars for this most recent experience at TU. I called Treats Unleashed for a last minute birthday cake for my pup. Let's just say her birthday was that day. They normally need 24 hours. Let's just say I was able to get a cake in 30 minutes. However I picked it up an hour later but was thrilled to see it when I arrived. I couldn't be happier with the service overall. Everyone is so friendly as well. Thanks to Treats Unleashed my family and I were able to celebrate our pups first birthday on her actual birthday. read more

I loved all the options for fresh treats for my dog and all the different toys they had available but I feel like customer service nowadays is so terrible. The ladies didn't try to ask me if I needed help or even want to recommend anything. Maybe because I went in without my dog? It was my first time in any of these stores and was let down by how little interaction there was in a store I feel that people would be happy to be working at. Maybe because the lady had her phone in her face she didn't realize there was a real human there? Other than the poor customer service the treats are awesome and I think fairly priced. read more

Don't bring your pups here!!!! Worst experience ever. We brought our chihuahua in for a nail trim & our laberdoodle for a self wash. The lady, who reeked of cigarettes, told me to go in with her for my pup to get his nails trimmed. She took him and started clipping & he started yelling, which is something he normally doesn't do. There were two dogs on tables getting their hair cut & another dog randomly running around in there. She decides to sit down & hold my pup on her lap to cut his nails, well he's afraid of other dogs and this dog that was in there kept jumping on her trying to sniff him & she kept moving around trying to avoid him WHILE CUTTING MY DOGS NAILS. I told her he's afraid & she then was like "no, go over there" but this medium sized dog was so persistent & she was so distracted she kept hurting my dog. She also started to grind his nails when I told her I just wanted a trim & not the grinding. When I saw how short she left his nails I was so upset, she could tell especially by seeing his nails bleed, she put some powder on it & said it would be fine. Our poor laberdoodle was freezing in the self wash area since the water is lukewarm, the dryer only blew cold air & didn't have much pressure so it literally took 45 minutes. We left with her hair wet still because we were so disappointed & just wanted to get out of there. When we went to check out the unprofessional woman who hurt my dogs nails told them to charge us for the nail grind she did on his one nail, are you serious?! I told the manager I never even asked for that she did it on her own & they took the charge off. Never ever trusting any of their locations because it seems like they just hire anyone. read more

This store has always been more than helpful with any question I have regarding my dog. The staff is very knowledgeable and provides clear explanations and often literature on issues including supplements, changing your dogs diet/food, grooming techniques, they have assisted me with all those issues. Their house made treats are very delicious, from what my dog tells me ;) and all natural and reasonably priced considering you are shopping a specialty boutique for your pet so it will be a little more expensive for certain items compared to the big mega stores. I believe the personal feel you get when you walk in and the one on one attention you can get your pet are well worth the price and keeps me going back for more! read more

There's a large table with nicely displayed goods which is mainly shaped and decorated. They even offer dog birthday treats and cakes. The walls are lined with fixtures and racks of toys and other animal accessories one could find most other places. Pricing is fair to high across the board. They also offer grooming services. The employees are sMiley and kind. Very helping and a holler away for questions. I walked out $20 later with 4 cookies (1.99 ea) 3 fish balls (.35 ea) 1 burger macaroon (.75 ea) and a jerky stick (1.50) and a rawhide free beef roll. This place is absolutely amazing. Our first time in, we were selling a better quality, senior-based dog food for our 11 year old dog. The staff was very knowledgeable and went above & beyond to assist us in choosing the right food. If our dog didn't like the food, it was guaranteed. We signed up for the rewards program. Shortly after I received an email with coupons, one including a free self-service wash. The self-service was is FANTASTIC! They supply everything you need and more. I highly suggest anyone with a dog give this a try. It's significantly less expensive than a groomer. Extremely upset Just picked up my furbaby from a "custom" grooming appointment to find that the groomer just shaved her one length all over! She looks ridiculous and is not at all what the groomer and I agreed on. Amazing fresh made treats. The birthday cakes for dogs are out of this world!! They are always so helpful and even help me out when I order last minute cakes. The self wash is what I prefer and I love it. The groomers do a great job working with me to grind my dogs nails since she hates her nails done after a bad experience somewhere else. We absolutely love Treats Unleashed. The staff is so nice and welcoming. My puppy is such a hyper little guy and they always love him up whenever he comes in. They are helpful and hey have great prices. We have purchased everything from food to snacks, a couple of harnesses, kongs etc. The two things I love the most is that they carry food and snacks, many of which they make that are healthy. My puppy got some fish bites (made by Treats Unleashed) and he loved them, and they are low fat. Some of their items are from local vendors, which I love. Brittany is great. She helped me fit a coverall for my dog Josie. Josie had surgery recently, and I don't you like using those cones. I love this place and shop here regularly for my dog's food. They only sell quality food and they bake their amazing treats on site. My two very picky Chihuahuas adore their fresh baked treats (especially the fish bites :-). With four dogs we go through Zignature dry cereal quickly and each dog gets his or her favorite cookie made with human grade ingredients for a night time snack. Love love love!!!! My four legged baby and I always enjoy stopping here. We've been customers for about 3 years and have always been met with a friendly staff and clean environment. The staff are very knowledgeable and aways pleasant. I ordered a cake for my puppy's birthday a week in advance and they forgot to make it when I came to pick it up. They were extremely apologetic and told me they would have it done as early as the next morning. When I stopped by the next day after work they again said that they were sorry for the mix up and told me there was no charge cake. They couldn't have handled the situation better! read more
