Challenging and exhilarating day that was so much fun. I'd read about Tree Runner for a couple years and I was thrilled to experience it with my gregarious grandson and my wife on a beautiful day.

What a fun 3 hours of fun. I have exchange students from France and Spain. This was the first adventure we took them on - going to be hard to beat. The girls loved every minute of it and were able to have a new friend from school join them. Pretty sure they won't forget this adventure anytime soon. I would like to give the staff a shout out - what a smoothly run and safe operation. Thank you for making sure that everyone is safe and knows what they are doing.

This was my second time there. These tickets were part of a family Christmas present and we all had a great time. They have many courses. We were there for 3 hours and could not do them all. They range from beginner to expert level. The staff gives you a safety brief and then you are allowed to go at your own pace. The annoying part is when you get stuck behind someone who won't move if they are scared and it backs up the line. We got stuck for a very long time on an easier path and it created a 10+ person backlog. Overall we had a great time and everyone said they wanted to go back another time.

End of the three hour climb and they are still having fun!

DON'T LET THE RAIN KEEP YOU AWAY I bought my nieces and nephew gift cards for Christmas, and I was finally able to organize a few so we could go. Planned the outing for a sunny Friday mid-morning and, of course, woke up to rain! Got the girls together (10yo-15yo) and after a brief discussion we decided to give it a try. You may end up soaked, but the kids said they barely even noticed the rain once they were under the canopy! They had a blast and once I dropped them off at their homes; they were begging their parents to go back soon! Staff was very helpful and kind. And you will see your kids grow and problem solve right before your eyes! Just do it... it's worth every penny (and there's no way they can do this and be on their phone the entire time! It's great to see their faces instead of the top of their head!)

This was such a fun experience. I was nervous but the safety session helped me feel confident in my abilities and I conquered my fears.

This place is amazing. Besides the obvious fun, it's very organized, which means you're never standing around waiting.

Great fun and exercise. My 13yo and 9yo loved it. 3 hour time limit seems too short though.

I started out on a green course, which was tons of fun because it involved plenty of swinging between the trees.

2021-05-08. IRC@TG3. Troy, MI…read more Over the years, Troy Gymnastics has expanded. Troy Gymnastics has several facilities, but all are in the Troy area and are close to each other. This location, Troy Gymnastics 3 is right next to Troy Gymnastics 4, their swim school. In addition to being a full Gymnastic facility, Troy Gym 3 also has an Indoor Ropes Course. Ropes Courses have been the fastest expanding business in the last few years and is continuing to gain traction especially with the younger kids. It's a great way to get in some physical activity and social distance at the same time so it's COVID friendly. Like most other active indoor center a waiver needs to be signed, and for this indoor ropes course, participants need to have a reach of 54 inches, so kids as young as 8 can participate (average height of girls at age 8 is about 47 inches). If you have even younger ones, they can participate in the Munchkins Ropes Course at TG4. Their website states that the IRC@TC3 is open on Saturday's only from 16:00 - 20:00, but this may be COVID hours. Bookings can only be made via online reservation. Email communication is very good, and we received a response within one business day despite the site stating that responses are 1-3 business days. Bookings for the IRC need to be made 2-7 days in advance. Pricing and times vary. In a nutshell, weekday climbs are $12/hour and weekend climbs are $15/hour. The facility is 42,000 sq. ft. and there is an area upstairs overlooking the gym floor for parents and guardians as well as lockers and restrooms. There is no food or drink available for purchase. Tip: Sometimes there are deals on Groupon, but those deals come with restrictions. Read the fine print carefully before purchasing. When we reached out to them online we asked for a deal rather than going through Groupon and they accommodated provided we had a minimum party of 4. While we already had four, it was a good deal so told some friends. In the end it was a win-win for all. We got a deal on the price, and business for them went from 4 to 15! Since it was indoor, and a ropes course can get most to work up quite a sweat, I recommend you dress in something comfortable and light. Avoid loose and baggy clothing and make sure your wear a comfortable pair of shoes (tennis or cross training shoes). Also bring a water bottle and make sure it's full, you'll need it afterwards! No experience is needed and it's 100% safe. Before you venture out onto the course, they train you on how to safely navigate the double locking harnesses on a miniature build. There are also several checkpoints throughout the course where you can respectfully end, start, or resume your journey should you need a break. But if you can complete the entire course in one fell swoop, you'll earn bragging rights and will get the opportunity to leave your mark on the miniature training build for all others to see. We were lucky today, the Gymnastics floor was closed so we had the entire place pretty much to ourselves and I was able to get some nice pics and videos of the kids. Overall, it was a great experience. We've done TreeRunner Adventure Park last year at OU, which was an outdoor ropes course, and this was our first indoor one. It was much warmer being inside, but just as exhausting. They did have a zip line, but it wasn't really a zip line. The line travels from A to B, but then you kind of swing back and forth like a pendulum and eventually end up resting in the middle of the line. Still a great activity and fun for all. If you've never been, I recommend you try this at least once. 4 stars. Almost forgot, masks are required at all times. And in case you're wondering, only 5 of the 15 got to leave with bragging rights. If you would like to experience more, come dine-with-me.yelp.com I'd love to have your company... Play safe!

I've been here a couple of times, once for a birthday party and once just for fun, and I honestly…read moredon't understand how this place is so highly recommended. The water slide rules are ridiculous. Kids have to meet a specific height requirement even though the water at the bottom of the slide is only about three feet deep and most kids can easily stand there. My child is short for her age but is in second grade, has been swimming since she was one, and is on a swim team. She was not allowed to go down the slide because she wasn't tall enough, yet her kindergarten friend, who could not swim, was allowed to go down even though they were basically the same height. When I tried to explain that my child is a strong swimmer, the lifeguard wouldn't budge and made her walk all the way back down the stairs in what felt like a complete walk of shame. After that, she wanted to swim in the main pool area, which is only about 3.5 feet deep, but there is a posted "no swimming" rule for that pool. Because of that rule, she wanted to go into the deeper water instead, which is only six feet deep. She was told she could not go into the deeper water unless she passed a swim test. However, they then said they could not give her the swim test because the swim instructors were not there. This made absolutely no sense, especially given her swimming ability and the fact that I was right there in the water with her as her parent. We then went to the splash pad. My child, who was three at the time, was told she was too close to the sprayer balls and got in trouble for it, even though the splash pad only has two features total. On top of that, the water was extremely cold. My toddler was shivering the entire time and couldn't even enjoy it because she wasn't allowed to stand under the water spray. That same day, we tried the lazy river. My toddler was holding onto me while we floated together. We went there specifically because the water was warmer, since her lips were literally turning blue in the regular pool. There was nobody else in the lazy river, and we were not being unsafe or disruptive in any way. Despite that, a lifeguard yelled at me for holding onto my child and told us we had to exit the river. At that point, it felt like no matter where we went, the rules were being enforced in a way that discouraged kids from playing rather than focusing on actual safety. The main pool itself is extremely underwhelming. There is one log in the middle, and only one person is allowed on it at a time, which I understand for safety reasons, but it is the only feature in the pool. One child used it the entire time we were there, and the lifeguard yelled at anyone who tried to touch it while allowing that same child to stay on it for nearly two hours. The pool is so shallow that my four-year-old can stand on the bottom, the main pool is so small that with about 6 people in it, it already feels overcrowded. The birthday party setup was just as bad. The party room is not convenient at all, despite what people say. There is no nearby bathroom, and the room itself is freezing cold. The changing rooms are down the water slide stairs and across the pool, but you are not allowed to walk to them in street clothes or shoes, which means you somehow have to change before you can even access the changing rooms. There are bathrooms upstairs, but they are nowhere near the party rooms and require walking through a maze of hallways. You freeze the entire way because you are either in a bathing suit or wet from the pool, and these bathrooms are just standard stalls, not actual changing rooms or showers. Everyone at the party complained about how far the bathrooms were from the party room. There are no changing rooms or showers near the party space, and the only real changing rooms are in the pool area, which you cannot access without already being changed. The entire setup is poorly designed and incredibly inconvenient. Overall, the rules feel inconsistent and overly strict, the layout is terrible, and the experience was frustrating for both kids and adults. Nobody in our group enjoyed it, and I would not recommend this place to others.
