Had to visit the area to grab Mother's Day decorations from a place nearby. So, popping into Treno was a no brainer. It just happened to be 10 ish minutes until "Happy Hour," and everyone knows I love a great HH. We were seated on the outdoor patio, which is absolutely gorgeous. You get a nice view of the main street while being covered from sunlight, rain, etc. We received menus promptly and liked them over to see what caught our attention. The Happy Hour menu had some good options, but we decided to go with the main menu items. There were plenty of staples on the regular Treno menu. So, we went with grilled wings, chopped salad and pizza (half pep and half sausage). For drinks, we tried the Treno Champagne and an old fashioned. Our drinks arrived quickly. I loved the Treno Champagne. It consisted of pear liquor, champagne and St. Germaine. It was a small glass, but a mighty little drink. My partner liked his old fashioned too. The chopped salad arrived first with the wings. The wings had an interesting dry blend of seasonings. I believe it was garlic, rosemary, pepper and something else. I thought they were fair. The chopped salad was delicious. I love a good chopped salad that consists of light balsamic dressing with mozzarella, olives, prosciutto, red onions, and romaine lettuce. I truly enjoyed the salad. The pizza arrived last. We were happy the pizza was just enough to finish off our dinner experience. It was the perfect size and consisted of a think crust, great blend of cheese, sauce, pepperoni and sausage. We had 3 slices each. I'll wrap up this review by saying we had a great experience at Treno and would love to return to try new menu items. read more

Have been here multiple times and it is usually a good experience. Space is good for groups and also accessible if you are using mobility equipment. House wines are delicious and cocktails we've ordered have always been yummy. Appreciate that they offer gluten free crust for the pizza and they make it clear that there is a potential for cross contamination. Service is usually very friendly but it's the little things that took off one star. We are often there when it's not busy and yet I consistently have to ask for more water, we have to ask for clean plates between the different courses arriving, etc. Overall, we enjoy it and will likely keep coming back. read more

I heard great things about this restaurant and was really excited to try it out, I went with my son for a quick dinner after a school event. They weren't that busy and we got seated right away. Our server hurried past us and said 2 waters? I said sure. She brought the drinks back and ran off. We waited at least 20 min if not longer for her to come back and she just kept going to other tables completely ignoring us. I finally flagged down another server and asked if we could order. She was able to get our server to come over and I ordered a martini, kids pasta and short rib pasta. My son got his pasta relatively quickly. Then eventually my pasta was brought out. I asked the server about my drink and she was apologetic but forgot to ring it in. She did comp it and send me out one anyway but the service and experience I received was just terrible. To top it off the short rib had a really hard piece that almost broke my tooth. I was going to tell my server but she was no where to be found basically the whole time I was there. I ended up packing the pasta to go for my dog but it was really just not good. Such a waste of money! I will say my son loved his pesto pasta and ate almost all of it. We love the pizza here. Our favorite is the plain cheese brick oven. Incredibly cheesy and the tomato sauce is bright and zesty. It really is perfection. The arancini are also delicious. I love getting a 9 oz. glass of the house Pinot Noir. It's a good wine. I did try the soup, Pasta Fagioli, and that wasn't good. It had an incredibly smokey flavor, and the pasta was mush. We've been coming here for a long time. My wife was recently diagnosed with celiacs and we've tried a lot of gluten free pizzas. We had heard Trenp had a good one and came in for dinner tonight. We were a little disappointed to see it was a cauliflower crust, but decided to give it a try anyway. Hands down the best cauliflower crust either of us had ever seen. I've been to Treno plenty of times over the years, and it's always been a positive experience. Came here for Valentine's Day dinner this year with my girlfriend and another couple. We all ordered the prix fixe three course menu: arugula salad with strawberries and goat cheese, surf and turf main course, and tiramisu for dessert, all for $50. The salad and tiramisu were both extraordinary; the lobster tail and steak were pretty good but nothing incredible. Our server Nicole was excellent. She checked on us several times and was super quick and professional during what I'm sure was a hectic night for her. We sat out in the patio which is nice and airy in warm weather, but I wouldn't recommend it in the winter. The main room has much better ambiance. I'm a beer guy through and through, and I love that of the 8 beers they have on draft at the moment, all 8 are from right here in NJ, 7 from South Jersey. Support local! Treno's is always a staple for a fun night out with friends or a date night. They have a bar as well as tables to sit down at. They do not take reservations and usually get pretty crowded. So if you do not mind waiting a little bit and want delicious food, then come here! For starters, they are allergy friendly. You can get a pizza with cauliflower crust which is amazing. I always get the New Yorker and it hits the spot every time. The crust is thin and fresh. The sauce has a nice sweetness to it and it is not overpowering. A friend had highly recommended this place but I was thrown off by some of the reviews here? Our server Gabbie was super sweet, competent and helpful. The drinks were great- the Treno martini was wonderful. Thankfully I got the last one for today. So so so so good. And the food was all delicious. I know this will sound weird but I actually loved the brussel sprouts the most (so did my hubs). The white mussels and short rib pizza were delicious. (And again this might sound odd but the toast that came with the mussels were extra delicious). The wallpaper was interesting though. Haha (see the pics below). Cocktails, $10--I love a good Expresso Martini, especially since most common bars tend to mess them up or misunderstand what I ask for. After 10 years as a local patron, they are one of the most convenient to have a good Happy Hour. Parking is available in a small lot on the busy Haddon Ave street that is in between Haddonfield and Collingswood. Inside they have a really nice set up with bar area, booths and another window room area. For warmer months they keep the windows open in the back. During a covid Jan 2021 lunch today with my friend there was not much business around 230-430 weekday. We both had the entire back area empty and to ourselves. The waitress kept up on service while also letting us chat for a long time, no rush. That part was really nice. I felt like the restaurant staff kept it clean, masks enforced, antibacterial sanitizer is at the front and two exit/entrance ways to avoid running into anyone. Returnable?
