This was our first time visiting Tresetti's. Making dinner reservations was easy online, and we had the choice of dining indoors or on the patio. We waited a few minutes before the hostess appeared, but once we were seated we were in for a real treat. We started with the Roasted Garlic and Brie appetizer and placed our order for the entrees. Our food did not take long to get to the table; I had the Salmon Kapoor and my dining companion had the Lamb Ossobucco. Both dishes were cooked beautifully, and the lamb was especially succulent. They have a great lineup of desserts but surprisingly they're not listed on the menu. One of the best features is that the restaurant is conveniently located just around the corner from the Gallo Center, with a parking garage right next door. Had an impromptu dinner here tonight and the food is still amazing! Haven't been here for a very long time and the menu has changed. We ordered the burrata for appetizer and the fig toast was amazing with the burrata and balsamic vinegar and olive oil and with the addition of strawberries and blueberries with it. My husband ordered the deboned lamb ossobucco with polenta and green beans and it was perfectly cooked and tender. I ordered the seafood pasta which had good sized prawns and scallops. The spicy lobster creme sauce and lemon and tomato had that combination of tart and heat and creamy that was sooo delicious. The mangonada drink was also a nice addition. I used to come here a lot to order the mint or strawberry mojitos which I didn't see on the menu. Good job Tresettis! Just one thing though, please bring back the calamari appetizer!! :-) read more

Well, can't say anything bad except the prices are pretty high for what you get. Lamb was like any other. Mashed sweet potatoes are really creamy and good. Duck tonight tasted a bit on the old side. Only had two bites. Lemon drop martinis are really good here. Service was quick and friendly. Not many people here tonight, Friday 5:30-6:30. Still made reservations just in case. 11/16/2018. Attended bar area near 11:00pm. I was impressed that there was security outside who was checking IDs. I was disappointed by the Appletini I was served. Not quite mixed correctly and I thought it would have been a nice touch to garnish it accordingly. Paying this much for a cocktail at a "supposed high-end establishment" should have produced a better product. Mind you it was a Friday night so I'm hoping next time at a slower moment that the bartender will identify this drink accordingly. read more

As soon we walked in we were not greeted and felt extremely unwelcome. It wasn't busy yet our request to sit outside was answered with "let me check if we have reservations". After sitting down inside, every other guest we saw enter were greeted and asked "indoors or outdoors"? With a few being seated outside while we were not even given the opportunity. We told the waitress we felt that we were not welcomed and she responded back with oh. Not an apology or acknowledgment. If you're a garlic lover like me you'll want to try the roasted garlic and Brie appetizer with baguette bead. We also tried the Calamari appetizer and it was ok, some of the octopus pieces were large and we just had to cut them into smaller bite size pieces but if you like the large varied pieces, try it. Ordered the Sicilian chicken sandwich and it went well with some of the roasted caramelized appetizer garlic I spread on it. The size salad was not as impressive, with not much of a dressing but overall it was a good lunch due to the garlic Brie and chicken sandwich. Service was good. read more

We took advantage of a Groupon deal to try Tresetti's for lunch on 3/4/17 and it was excellent. We had calamari for our appetizer and it was really good and reasonably priced as was everything on the bar menu. Our main dish was the gourmet burgers with homemade fries that were to die for. Extras such as cheese, bacon, jalapeños, grilled onion and mushrooms can be added for 1.00 each. The lunch menu was only available from 11a to 2p and from 2:00-5:00 you had only the bar menu items to choose from. Granted there were a lot of items on it but I'd have preferred to have been able to order from the lunch offerings. Dinner starts at 5:00 on Saturday. Our server, Jess, did double duty as server and bartender. She was very pleasant and personable and also extremely attentive, refilling our iced tea constantly and checking to make sure we were doing ok. All in all, a great lunch and a great overall experience too! Our bill was $48 but the Groupon deal was $40 for $20 so I ended up costing $28 total. Very good deal! read more

At 8:30pm, it was empty, not a single table occupied in the dinning room. I knew it's almost guarantee risk to eat at an empty restaurant but I am done walking. The merlot by glass was pretty blend but don't feel like opening a bottle ! The gumbo was not New Orlean, not bad, somehow it has a consistency of starch rather than rogue. Its average. The chicken Gordon bleu was fine, a lot of craftsmanship, nice cheese filled in a ham breast roll roast to a nice crisp outside. I am very please that the breast was not overly done. Cheese didn't run until you slice open it. It's a pretty well done dish except it's overly heavy, overly creamy. I rather smell & taste more intense chicken flavor, may be more dense chicken stock and less cream. Services was good, just the right amount and interaction. Overall it's fine, even an empty restaurant, it was a fine meal, average to above average, will be back. read more

The bar is always a nice place and stop after a busy day. Patio seating is limited but nice when weather permits. Great service and good food. 2 favorites are the gumbo and squash fritters! The only reason I'm giving it any stars at all is because the waitress was super last night. She had good timing and cadence of checking on our party of two, she was friendly and made it a pleasant visit. The food, however, was a complete disaster. Red cola pork tacos served is soggy corn tortillas shells. Of course that isn't how the menu describes them but the cook in the back should it was awful and they failed last night. The corn tortilla shells you fried are supposed to be crispy when they are served. First bite absolutely soggy mushy mess. Zero stars for the food. Drinks were good and cold and again the waitress was great, so, that's where they get 2 stars. I come for good food and expect decent service, got great service and crummy food. Had dinner at this restaurant on the weekend. The service was very good considering the waitress was alone in our whole area. She was polite, cheerful and definitely people oriented. The restaurant itself felt welcoming and pleasant. The bread was very hard and difficult to cut and chew. The bbq shrimp tacos were delicious and definitely worth the price. Both, my bf and I ordered the seafood pasta. Scallops were cooked to perfection, shrimp a little overcook, but still delicious. The sauce itself looked so tasty and had a great soft spice. Went to this restraunt for my 9 year anniversary with my boyfriend. Our initial reservation was for 8:30 however we had car battery issues and had to call the restaurant twice to push our reservation later... they were really cool about it and very accommodating. I would at least include 4 so a couple can each have 2. For dinner I got the bacon wrapped filet mignon... wow! It was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. You could cut right through it with a butter knife... literally... we tried it lol. It was accompanied by shoestring onion rings, they were ok, nothing too special. Also was fingerling potatoes and roasted veggies. The potatoes were great, lightly salted and cooked great. The roasted veggies were also great!! Not too roasted, just right and full of flavor. My boyfriend got the pork chop and looooved it. I tasted it and thats what I'll be getting next time! It came with a mango corn salsa which he got on the side and actually did not taste but it looked good. It came with brussel sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes. Brussel sprouts, which I'm usually not a fan of, tasted really great! They had a lite sweet taste which combatted the bitter taste. The garlic mashed potatoes had too much garlic in them! My bf's main course was prime rib, and whilst nibbling on the polenta side he came across a small piece of plastic.
