Saturday, the day after SCAD commencement. Waltzed in at 08:30 and the place (which was highly recommended) was starting the day. Very bright, clean, open, and comfortable. Seated immediately, and the wicked nice waitress took our drink order almost immediately too. I had a cafe white (white latte), my bride had a regular cuppa Joe, and the nephew had fresh squeezed orange juice. All top shelf. For breakfast I had two poached, wheat toast, apple sausage, and cheese/grits. "Perfection!" The cheese and grits are made with a heavy whipping cream, and trust me, they personified the old southern charm perfection of hospitality. Awesome waitstaff! Ashley was the bee's knees. I ordered from Toast on DoorDash tonight, and honestly--if you don't want to fulfill orders, take yourself off the platform. Why would a salad come with no dressing? The Cobb didn't even have an option to add it, so I called and asked for ranch--got attitude, but assumed it'd be included. I also added ranch to the home fries just in case. Still, no ranch at all. When I called, the manager said it was the Dasher's job to check the order. That's not true--they can't open sealed bags, and this one was stapled shut. The response was rude, and I ended up paying $18 to get ranch elsewhere just to eat. On top of that, my daughter expected fresh fruit with her French toast but got jam, and the pig candy didn't match the description. Easily one of the most disappointing orders I've had. read more

This place was just ok. The cinnamon French toast was really good but my chicken apple sausage was cold. You can tell it was pre cooked and just plopped on my plate. My latte was lukewarm at best. Same as the bacon that was with my daughter's cinnamon French toast. My other daughter has the Peach stuffed French toast. This was the most misleading and disappointing item ordered. It would more accurately be named peach smothered French toast. There is no stuffing when there is only one thick piece of French toast. Let down for sure. Ambiance was nice, love outdoor seating and service was great. Despite these things, I don't think a return trip is necessary. read more

Only came here to get a to go drink during st Patrick's day weekend and had a great experience! It was very busy for lunch and we waited on their couch that they had which was nice. Toast All Day is a great go to restaurant for brunch. On my recent visit they were still offering holiday drinks, which my espresso martini was absolutely delicious. The customer service from my waitress was great. Unfortunately, the food was lacking for me. My fries were warm, my sandwich bread was initially burnt and the inside of the sandwich was cold. My partner's burger was delicious. I did voice my concerns to my waitress and they did remake my food, which was alot better afterwards. read more

I've been wanting to try Toast for about two years but I never had the patience/time. Today we went with friends from out of town and I specifically went wanting beignets (the best I've had in Georgia and Florida btw). They were everything and more to the fact that it almost brought me to tears (but it could've been the baby). Everyone at the table loved their food and I did as well. I ended up sending my eggs back because I ordered them wrong, then we had a spill caused by us and they had to remake my food. We started with the Nutty Irishman coffees; mine with oat milk and my fiancé's with almond milk. When they arrived, mine was hot and his was iced, which caught us off guard. Turns out, when ordered with almond milk, it's only available iced. Funny enough, my fiancé never drinks iced coffee, but he ended up loving it! I really enjoyed Toast on Broughton, the wait time wasn't bad at all for a Sunday, the staff was friendly. The only con I would say is the closeness of the tables, kinda uncomfortable in the front of the restaurant but I've been in the back area and it's better there. Another con, the restrooms reek of urine, even in the hallway headed in there and they aren't the cleanest. My recommendation (unsolicited) use vinegar and clean often. Aside from those two things, I had a pretty good experience and my server was so kind and helpful. read more

I heard some good things about "Toast" so I had to try it out. It's in the middle of town so parking is a little crazy. But once you walk in you will not be disappointed. As you can see from my pictures the food was made with absolute love. Presentation to me is key and they knocked it out the park. As for taste, these pictures don't do it justice because everything I ate was absolute food organs in your mouth. Everything from the biscuit to the grits. I don't say this often but the food was made to perfection. I just wished they served more because it was delicious. Our server and service was awesome nice and quick to sit and nice and quick to receive our food. Our waiter was really good and catered to our needs. The ambiance of the restaurant was as you can aspect. In the middle of town but a great ambiance of locals and people visiting Savannah. Some friends and I traveled to Savannah for the Publix Womens, 5K and half marathon race. We arrived the day before the race and made our way to Toast! All Day for breakfast. The food was pretty good. Our waitress was amazing! (We did a Google review for her) and the scene was pretty nice. The only issues we had were one of my friends fish breakfast meal had no seasoning. She did speak with the manager on duty for the day and he was very accommodating even though we did not need a refund or exchange. Also our seating outside was a little offputting due to the fact that the table was not level and had to be propped up on a stack of napkins nevertheless we enjoyed our food and it set us all for a great race the next day. White woman. Older. Glasses. They were complaining about Rebecca, but i didn't know that at the time. Saying she was rude to them. Sat other people before them. And that they waited 45 minutes for their food. Rebecca walks out. Motions for us to come to her. We were standing at the sign. I smiled. Started with, hi. We'll take a table for 5 inside. Rebecca- is your 5th person here? Me- no. Its my birthday and the bakery was closed today. My friend dropped us off. She is going to the baker's house to retrieve the cake. She will be here in 40 minutes. I plan on ordering for her. Rebecca- we dont seat parties unless they are all here. Me- I think I just explained it to you. We'd like a table now. Rebecca- no response. Walks away Several minutes later Rebecca- okay. It will be about ten minutes. We are cleaning a table for you. Me- what are you talking about? There are plenty of open tables Rebecca- where? Where do you see an open table? We all walk in. Rebecca is walking us towards a 4 top table. Me- what about that one? (Its a large table with 8 seats and a hot cook top center. ) or that one?(exact same open table) Rebecca- no. That one will be hot. Rebecca- i was being KIND to you. Allowing you to come in without a complete party. Me- this conversation is getting very awkward. Lets move on with our day. Rebecca- walks again towards the 4 top table. Me- no. Will will sit over there. Rebecca- its hot. Its going to remain on the whole breakfast. Me- so? We are not children. We can sit at it. And then we do We ordered. My friend arrived. My friend- i think I see my friends. Rebecca- oh, I know exactly what table is yours. Manager- never once asked how our meal was. In fact she passed our table several times and stared angrily at us. I saw Rebecca talking about us to that same woman, who i assumed was the manager. I am a Professional Chef. I have worked in the restaurant industry for 23 years. As a hostess, server, bartender, line cook, pastry chef. You name it. Ive done it. You need to fire Rebecca. She is deplorable. She and the manager who was on staff April 12 2026 both need to be fired. They make your business look bad. The way they treated the large African American family that was complaining as we first arrived was unprofessional. I will never eat at your restaurant ever again. read more

Frankly, there are much better places to grab breakfast in downtown Savannah for a lot less money. The food here is wholly mediocre and certainly doesn't justify the premium paid ($16 for the classic breakfast vs $10-11 at some other restaurants, for example). I had the classic breakfast and my wife had the Power Plate. My classic breakfast was okay. The home fries were underseasoned and the sausage lacked flavor. Her egg whites looked very unappetizing (like something I would make at home, and I'm not a good cook). Toast All Day added a 3% service fee to the bill with tip expected in addition, which is ridiculous and no other restaurant I ate at in Savannah did. I was going to give this place 3 stars, but as I kept writing this review I dropped it to 2 stars. But I'm giving it 1 star, because when we went to Toast All Day, downtown Savannah was under a boil water order. The previous night at Chive, our servers brought us bottled water free of charge. At Toast, they brought us regular water with ice, and they seemed to have no idea of the boil water order then charged us for a bottle of water. Avoid this place. They're just looking to rip off tourists. read more

The place was packed which is a good sign that the eatery is good. Our service was great. The food was fantastic. We both ordered what we order for breakfast almost every weekend that we go out for breakfast and which is corn beef & hash. But let me tell you, this was real corn-beef, shredded not like a pate. What started off great ended in disaster...the mimosas are great and the fried green tomatoes are also great. What was not so great, there was a waitress who spilled coffee on the floor and a half a big cup of ice water on the floor, she gave this ice water to another table. After 10 minutes she walked back over the ice water on the floor to give the table a straw, 5 minutes later she takes the order ice water still on the floor. My table had to get another person to clean up the big water spill after 20 minutes of nothing. I really wanted to love Toast! but was disappointed with our service. The good: cheese grits were very good, seasoned well, good consistency. Portions were decent. The bad: Lattes were not hot and when we told our waitress, she did not offer anything to help (nor make new ones), poached eggs were not poached, one of our dishes we ordered had raw tomato and spinach, which we wouldn't have ordered if they said in the menu that it wasn't cooked/sautéed.
