These guys are the best! They replaced my axles because my car was vibrating and the vibration didn't go away. Instead of giving up, they ordered another pair of axles and inspected the suspension much more. Once the axles arrived they installed it and got rid of the vibration. I have just moved to the Chino area, but I did not have any experience with any auto mechanics in the area, so I asked around, and pretty much everyone responded with Tri- Auto. I decided to give this business a try, and I am glad I did. Danny, the owner/manager, is so great to work with. He does get busy pretty much everyday. The first time I came in, I got there at around 7:45 am, and there were already a few cars there. Danny took my name, number and the reason for my visit. He quoted me a price and a wait time. The price was very reasonable (for what I was there for), as was also the time to complete the work. They finished the work as promised, and ahead of schedule. I went to try auto about a year ago and never wrote a review, even though I should have. I now have to go back to have some more work done to my vehicle. The owner is very helpful, gets the job done in a reasonable amount of time, and ALWAYS GIVES A FAIR PRICE. He has never pushed trying to get other items fixed. I had to have a repair on my Cadillac converter, which he does not fixed. He recommended a muffler shop. I am always concerned about going places i don't know because i don't want to be ripped off. The place he sent was awesome as well, glad he has the integrity not to send people to bad shops. I am a single mother and every dollar counts. Danny was very helpful with any questions we had, and I went back today because my oil light came on despite having gone less than 1,000 miles since the oil change. Getting ready for Nevada,I had this annoying noise my car was making. The oil change elsewhere didn't fix it. Needed to replace my side mirror and just bought the part myself on Amazon. I brought it in here and thought I would have to wait a couple of hours, even for something as simple as installing my side mirror. Danny was very friendly and took care of it on the spot! I have a 2008 Toyota Sequoia and recently bought a new battery from Pepboys and a week later my car wouldn't start. I thought it was the battery so I tried to jump start it and it took a few times but it started. I took it back to Pepboys and the battery tested fine. Turns out it was the starter that was going bad. They gave me an estimate of about $800 (parts&labor) to fix it and I said not at this time. I happen to search on Google for a reputable auto shop in the area and found Tri-Auto on Yelp. It had perfect reviews so after reading most of them, I decided to give them a try. Danny Jr. quoted me about $350 for the same repair. I thought to myself...Wow that is an awesome price! So when I dropped off my SUV I also asked to replace one of the battery terminals and added an oil change too. A funny thing happened though when I came back to pick up my SUV that afternoon. The new starter had an issue so I couldn't take it home. My wife already left me there to do some errands so I would be stuck there for a while and in the meantime it was closing time. Danny offered to take me home since he felt bad about the delay. How awesome is that!?. Turns out my wife got my message to pick me up. Danny even waited for me way past closing time until she arrived to get me. How awesome is that again!? Anyways since it was going to be there an extra day, I asked to have the tires rotated too. All in all the cost of all these things done to my SUV was only $350. This will definitely be my auto shop to go to from now on and will absolutely recommend Tri-Auto to all my friends who have Toyotas, Hondas, and Lexus'! Great pricing and great service! The dealer wanted to charge 600 to replace the motor for the rear window on my Sequoia . When I asked Danny he told me to remove the panel and bang where the motor is located. He said there's probably a build up of corrosion. It worked ! He could've easily said I'll fix it for 300, but he is a true HONEST man. read more
