5-year customer here. I referred my family members also. Everyone has been satisfied. My father's laptop had a problem charging due to faulty pins. They fixed it within minutes, and the service was FREE. My Dell ultrabook had the screen went out. 2 months time passed and Dell could not fix it. I was more than willing to pay the $259 + tax + S&H, for a replacement screen. Dell said they did not have any HD+ screen available. They advised I go to my local repair shop. To Tri-Star I went, and they somehow got my laptop screen working again. I was ecstatic when I heard the news. For I already wrote off my $1500 laptop as paperweight. I had quite an interesting issue regarding Toshiba, Tri-Star to the rescue! (Rephrase: Toshiba MESSED UP BIG!) I had purchased an "open box" laptop from Best Buy in February 2015. Obviously, great item, great price. After a couple months, I hadn't noticed there was a slight LCD cell separation appearing in the screen. Eventually the screen had the "brown water stain" look. So, I sent it off to Toshiba. Diagnosis: water exposure. Not covered. No big deal, I'll order a screen and replace it myself. (20+ yrs experience) When my laptop came back (took forever) I left it in the box. But I needed it for ONE day. Taxes. When I opened it I noticed that the screen issue was at least 50% worse! They also had left whatever beta programs they use for testing on my system, random folders on my desktop, messed with my Windows Defender, the list goes on. Now, I made a copy of my system before sending it out. I electricity signed the email contract that stated I may receive my system back wiped. Yet NO WHERE did it say I'd receive it back with their crap on it! The worst part was that I couldn't get rid of them. No administration access. After a couple weeks of "assertively telling Toshiba what's up" (as well as telling their "I'm 2 years outta school tech" what needs to be done) I finally had a NICE person with Toshiba set up something with Tri-Star to fix what they had done. *sigh* No charge AND the screen to be replaced for all of my troubles. As soon as Tri-Star received my laptop I received an email. One problem. Toshiba only sent instructions to replace the screen. *frustrated fit* So I called TS, asked if they were informed. (Guess) I explained the issue and was offered the option to wipe it to factory settings. YES PLEASE! My only concern is that they'll get paid what they should from Toshiba for the extra work. So finally, my laptop in the hands on REAL techs! Kept an eye on the status. Before it was even updated to "parts received", it was on its way home! Got it yesterday! I initially sent it to Toshiba around 12/21, went through ALL that. Tri-Star got it 2/3, took what, a day to fix it once they got the parts. And a FANTASTIC perk... My Windows 10 was still activated and fully up to date. Saved my hours! So yea, next time... I'll skip Toshiba and just ship out to them. I'm NEVER going through that hassle again. read more

Other reviewers are absolutely RIGHT! I love their integrity! My story: my husband kept telling me to leave Wayne a review a few weeks ago (because I see a whole stack of Wayne's business cards in my husband's car-weirdo even put one of the cards in my purse!) My thought then was why would I leave them a review when they only fixed his computer and it has nothing to do with me? I wouldn't know what to write! I'm totally cluess when it comes to computers. Fast forward to a few days ago. Friggin husband jinxed my laptop and it wouldn't turn on! Naturally, per his referral I went to Tri-Star. I thought it would be a small problem and would be cheap to fix. Wayne told me 2 days later that the motherboard was broken & HP charges $200 for it and their warranty is only 30 days. I was devastated! Not only about the price but I THOUGHT I had lost all my precious data on the laptop! Photos, work resumes, personal information, consents from work, etc. Wayne said I would be better off if I bought a completely new computer than try to salvage this one. He actually did a neat thing and helped me retrieve my data from the dead laptop! He basically extracted the hard drive from the laptop and inserted it into this thing he gave me and it was like a big USB! All my info was in there! Phew!!!! I really wanted to pay him for giving me that electronic thing but he refused to take my money. Simply because he didn't fix my computer so he won't accept any $. Such a sweet guy. All I wanted was the hard drive or whatever u call it so I left the rest of my laptop behind for them to keep since I didn't need it. Sad-it was only 3 years old. An HP laptop from Best Buy. I will miss it. Piece of crap! I work super far (plus 2 hours of traffic) and could never make it there on time after work and both times I went there Wayne said that he was willing to stay behind for me (until 7 pm). Perfect! Not only did he stayed behind late, he did a whole spiel on how to retrieve my info from that device he gave me on a new computer if I bought one. Most of the things he said went over my head because I don't know computers. He was very helpful and showed me a lot of examples on other computers. Super patient guy. I wanted to tip him but he didn't want to take anything from me. He even gave me tips on what to look for when I buy a new computer and all the new features they might have and how to troubleshoot. Best place ever to fix your computer. I think their motto is if they don't fix your computer, u don't pay a dime. They diagnose for free too I think. Please come here for your computer needs! My Toshiba laptop died when it was 10 months old back in October. After 3 times sending it to the repair Depot in Jeffersonville, IN, Toshiba had me send it to Tri-Star Computers. That was 4 weeks ago. Toshiba said that I would receive it back within 10 days, and they didn't say business days. I received an e-mail that they received the laptop on Christmas Eve, three weeks ago today. They had my laptop marked as awaiting parts at the 10 day mark, then last week it was have parts awaiting assembly. now it's back to awaiting parts. I've been without a laptop for almost 3 months now and will never buy another Toshiba Laptop nor use Tri-Star to repair one again. read more

Man these guys are as good as it gets when it comes to fixing computers! I was writing a paper, and my computer crashed last minute. I was kinda short on money and time, so my mom recommended Tri-Star Computer. They had fixed her printer 3 months ago. I live close to there and didn't have that much time. Three friendly vietnamese guys named Huynh, Kieu, and Tri were able to fix my computer immediately. They were so careful and friendly and most importantly SO CHEAP!!! My laptop had problems powering off and on. I was recommended to take it to Tris Star. I called there, spoke with DEE , who was very helpful over the phone. I trusted him after our conversation regarding my computer. The problem ended up being the main board, which needed to be replaced by DEES company. Thanks again Dee! My desktop died over the weekend. I was already cruising the internet for a replacement and concerned about losing all my data. I called Dee and said bring it over before you buy a new one.
