Avoid Tri Tech Restoration - A Nightmare Experience If I could give zero stars, I would. Tri Tech Restoration was recommended by State Farm after a water leak in our home, and it was one of the worst experiences we have ever had with a contractor. What was initially supposed to be a six-week project turned into nearly four months of delays, mismanagement, and poor communication--forcing my family to stay in a hotel far longer than anticipated. The issues were endless: Delays & Poor Communication - We frequently went days or even weeks without updates, left in the dark about progress and timelines. Calls and emails were often ignored. Project Manager Was Absent - Our assigned project manager, Javier, was nowhere to be found throughout the entire process. After visiting our home at the very beginning, he completely disappeared and only resurfaced at the very end--only after we escalated our concerns to his leadership team. There was no oversight, no accountability, and no effort to ensure the project was running smoothly. Ineffective Project Coordinator - Our assigned project coordinator, Angela, was also unhelpful and frequently miscommunicated with her own team. We were often left without answers and at the mercy of their team's poor organization. Instead of acting as a reliable point of contact, she contributed to the overall confusion and lack of transparency. Subpar Workmanship - After months of waiting, the final work was sloppy at best. We were left with a crooked sink, patchy paint, scuffed and imperfect flooring, and leftover materials cluttering our space. Several aspects of the job had to be redone due to poor quality. No Accountability - Despite their mismanagement and the unnecessary hardship they caused my family, they have been relentless in demanding payment while we wait on reimbursements from State Farm. It is especially disappointing given that Tri Tech Restoration was a recommended contractor from State Farm. We entered this process with high expectations, believing we would receive professional service, but instead, we were left severely disappointed. I strongly caution anyone considering Tri Tech Restoration. Their lack of professionalism, poor quality of work, and failure to communicate made an already stressful situation significantly worse. If you value your time, money, and peace of mind, look elsewhere. read more

Tri-Tech was recommended by our insurance company, Ameriprise/Costco when we had a fire at our home. This type of event is both tramatic and so troublesome for those who have not been through similar circumstances. Tri-Tech was reassuring and competent from beginning to end. The estimator walked the job with the fire inspector and made sure to get agreement on everything to be done so that we could get our house back to it's previous condition. The flooring unit helped us to select flooring creatively with the insurance reimbursement so that we could pay a little extra and have a great upgraded result that we love. Lucy S was there to round up the troops and help us with every step. Palo Supervised the project on site and personally saw to it that we were happy down to the final scratch repairs. This type of claim and construction is not easy. As homeowners we were devistated by the ruin and not very patient with the time and detail necessary to put it back. We were out of our home for 4.5 months and not happy. However, Tri-tech kept at it and worked diligently to make sure everything got fixed to our satisfaction. They even allowed me to pay competitive costs to complete most of my "Honey Do List" that existed prior to the fire. They never complained about coming back or redoing anything that we wanted done. We are 100% satisfied with the results. Unfortunately, we had a flood following the fire due to a Home Depot faulty installation of a dishwasher. We did not hesitate to recontract Tri-Tech for the repairs and let the insurance company go after Home Depot for the cost. Now our kitchen is back and the house feels like new. Tri-Tech should be your first choice if you have a disaster claim and want top notch help getting your things and your life back to pre-disaster form. read more

I don't have enough good things to say about Tri Tech, we experienced a kitchen leak that had required all of our lower cabinets to be ripped out and they were here within a day to start drying the floor, I was so impressed with the communication from both Berenice and Cecilia who were helping my family with this claim. We got both calls and texts letting us know where we were at in the process and also letting us know what time crews would be arriving each day. The extent of the damage was pretty severe and we needed a full pack out of our kitchen, Tri Tech came and packaged up all of our belongings and stored them at their warehouse in Burbank while our repairs were being done. Our insurance carrier approved a rebuild of our kitchen to which we got the pleasure to meet with Joe who was our estimator and Sarmen who was apart of the project team; Sarmen and the projects team were really helpful with pulling all the permits to get us going as quickly as possible and when it came to redesigning our kitchen they really helped walk us through material selections to understand what would suit our needs best while bringing everything up to current code I don't think we would've been able to have all this done without their expertise and to this day it's hard to believe that we have the kitchen of our dreams it truly feels like something out of a tv show and we are so grateful for the work Tri Tech did in our home read more

Tri-Tech is terrific and Jose L. and Vigen T. worked for 9 hours straight setting up blowers and water restoration for our unfortunate main sewage line backup. They were back the next morning at 8 am. They were both so nice and respectful of not only the situation but your personal space. They hardly make a peep. We have used them for the past 12 years at our small condo building and they are actually the second call behind the plumber for any issue that we have had however this is my first experience with my own issue inside my unit. I would not only highly recommend Tri-Tech as a company but also as a contstruction company. I will be using them for all services during my repair process. I am also leaving a second review for Jaime and Sarkis in the containment department. They were very thorough when checking all areas to make sure there was no mold and it was drying properly . I do work from home so the blowers that were basically in my office were extremely loud and distracting. They came out and to speed the process along they put up a containment area which helped cut down on the noise and dry the area faster. As I said earlier for the building we have used them but this is my first time personally and it has been a great experience. On March 3rd we had a house fire. Within 24 hours TriTech and our insurance company were out here assessing the damage. TriTech is a wonderful company. I know there are other reviewers that say differently but our experience has been a great one. Once they came up with the assessment, they gave us a 25 page detailed scope of work. Laying out each item that was going to be done how many hours it would take and even down to how many of what materials they were going to use. We met all the players involved including the water and air subcontractors they hired for the clean up. They even handled the escrow accounts and claims with our mortgage companies. That's a job I don't wish upon anyone! When the roof had to come off we moved out. They gave us a time line of 16 weeks for completion. Most of our friends gave it 6 months, but we were confident that they would do the job and correctly. This included new roof trusses that had to be specifically engineered for our roof line. Well we just moved in last Friday the 23rd - 3 weeks early! Thank you Bill, Lucy, Mike and Emil!! Between your team in the office and great work crew we are back in our home 3 weeks early and can have some sense of normalcy to the end of our summer. read more

Crazy that they would even ask me to write a review. Hired them to rebuild after fire damaged my home. Workmanship was hit and miss. Roofing? good. Finish work (trim, caulk, etc), very bad. brick work? good. restoring the fences they damaged? bad. Compensating me like they promised for my tv that they damaged? they conveniently forgot about that. Overall, the general work was... meh, passable. Not one right angle in their framing work, but... it's there. Very little (almost zero) attention to detail. They did come back and fix some of the things they screwed up, kind of... well, not all. I mean. it was a lot. but their fixes were kinda shitty too. Now, for the REALLY fun part... they unilaterally changed the bid amount from the written contract after the fact, and are now trying to extort extra money from me beyond what my insurance company agreed to pay. They filed a lien (illegally, without providing me with a copy), and also filed a law suit against me. Turns out after researching their legal history, they do this a lot. From my experience, they come at you with a smile, but they are scammers crooks and thieves. My recommendation is to AVOID and go elsewhere. read more

From the time Mr. Bill Gandsey arrived @ my home to inspect the damage and write an estimate, the experience and work completed was absolutely exceptional. I was very pleased with Harry, who was the project manager. Harry, stayed on top of the project by means of his presence and by telephone when necessary. I was over joyed by Tri-Tech skilled workers, not only were they skilled workers, they were professional and reliable. The project was completed on time; as a matter of fact, the project was completed on the exact date Tri-Tech said it would be done. That type of accountability & commitment is very uncommon in the construction environment. On June 2nd, 2024, we signed a contract with Tri Tech Restoration to complete necessary repairs so we could reopen our restaurant. We were given a timeline of 4-6 months and an estimated cost of $160,000. However, it has now been 10 months, and we've spent $379,000--nearly double what was initially agreed upon. The entire experience has been a nightmare. Tri Tech Restoration constantly shifted blame, never took responsibility for delays, and switched project managers three times during the process. They admitted to being short-staffed, but despite that, there has been a complete lack of progress. Every time we tried to get answers, we were met with vague excuses, and no one could give us a straight response. Communication was awful, and it felt like they were just talking in circles without addressing any of our concerns. It's incredibly frustrating and disappointing. We trusted them to complete the job, but it's been nothing but delays, cost overruns, and poor communication. We highly recommend looking elsewhere for restoration services unless you're prepared for the worst. read more

We suffered a devastating flood at our house when our fire sprinklers busted and water damaged the majority of our home. From the moment I received a call from Berenice, I knew things would be ok. She had a very calm, reassuring voice as I was trying to wrap my head around what had just happened. Within an hour, there was a team of people headed by Raffi at my house. They did a lot of work the first night and continued on for the week. Alvaro was my tech along with Boni. Day in and day out, they were working hard in the hot August heat to remove debris and dry out the house. Alvaro was very good about explaining the process to me so I understood what was happening. To say I appreciated them was an understatement. In a time of chaos, they helped quiet the noise and bring order back. While I hope to never need Tri-Tech's services again, I HIGHLY recommend them for restoration work to anyone who might be in the same situation I was. Tri Tech Restoration has been terrific in dealing with our water damage and now removing all damaged materials. They have left my house clean as a whistle. Could not have been happier with the work of Adam and Boni. They are very good at what they do and always kept me in the loop as to what was next, they explained what they were going to be doing and always answered my questions on the spot. Also they always were prompt on showing up and are very professional but also very friendly. So far the whole office staff I've been in contact with like Amy and Bernice have been great and everything has run so smooth because the office staff always called me and let me know when Adam and Boni would be at my house even though I probably already knew that from the crew. This is a company with really good technicians and office staff, very impressive.What a breath of fresh air this company is. We would recommend them to anyone. read more

We consider ourselves very fortunate to have Vanessa on the team. We could call her with any questions and she would follow up with all the participants on the project to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. At the end of every week she would call to make sure things were going smoothly and on schedule. Plus, she had a great eye for colors and textures. Claudio and Mark are amazing they finished the work and they were not satisfied until the work was perfect...these two mopped and cleaned up the const mess everyday and I had to plead with them not to move the furniture back and forth each day...as I believe...doing a little const myself it becomes a pain..i urged them to leave their tools so they wouldn't have to drag them in and out each day..but they didnt..they told me they liked to leave everything neat and clean...which they did .....they did excellent work and are welcomed back if I ever need there assistance....i can't say enough good things about tri-tech and the Employees that I had contact with... I was always apprised of work that was to be done and it all came together very quickly and Claudio and Mark were exceptional and even my dog-liked them and he likes no one and bites. read more

HORRIBLE COMPANY.TOOK ADVANTAGE OF OUR SITUATION . Quick on initial response promises of fast restoration only to be followed by excuses.Vans left oil spots on driveway they literally raised their voice at me telling me I was a liar. I had to order them off the property. They created more damage to the home with there careless demolition which when asked if they where going to fix it he said "I will call the insurance company and tell them they need to pay for it" classy! When asked about another job not completed he complained that he had three guys working on it for 8 hours when actually it was 2 minority female day labors left to fend for themselves with no transportation or supervision.These guys are nothing but ambulance chasers they try to be the first one to the seen and then milk the insurance for all it's worth. read more

Didn't know what to do or if there was something I could do. Our house fire was devastating for me and my 2 girls. Tri Tech was with us from day 1 making us feel like we were the most important clients they had. From Eva as my point person to Bill Gandsey as the project supervisor...and so many wonderful people in-between taking care of us and making sure that our needs were met and then some, the time out of our house was more bearable. The end result is not only beautiful but functional and guaranteed. This past year, if I EVER needed anything, they promptly sent someone out and took care of it.
