Great customer service and great work. My car needed some pretty major repairs. They used all factory parts and no corners were cut. Paint is perfect and my car is "brand new" again. Runs great. Just thought I would write a review to express how greatful we were to the Romero family for everything they did for us while they were repairing our daughters" car. She was in the hospital at the time, and we, as her parents' had to make most of the arrangements to have her car fixed, and transported to her. They went over and above with helping us to have all these things accomplished and always asked how our daughter was doing. The car was fixed in record time and the transport of the car was good too - thanks to the help of the Romero family at the body shop. What total dirtbags. DO NOT take your car there if you expect your property to be respected. Farmers Insurance customers should use Diablo Auto Body in Pleasanton instead. If you're a thief you can roll up on this place and take anything out of a car without anyone stopping you, I did when I had to get my IPod and Fasttrak back. I took my car there as a Farmer Insurance customer for minor repair. They left my windows open to the elements, dirty sanding residue from the shop, vermin (racoons, possums, feral cats, etc), and with my Fastrak and IPod exposed. I drove up and surprised them, when I called them on it the first time they apologized profusely and said it wouldn't happen again and that the valuables should have been given to me at check in. I assumed it would be ok but I checked up and found the windows open again. I was quite rude and direct about my unhappiness and their lack of respect they showed my vehicle and the son responded by threatening me. I responded that I would love it if he tried to get physical because I would beat him up and then sue him for his shop. His father was also rude and wasn't at all sorry for leaving the windows open and justified leaving everyones window open because it was easy for his guys. I told them I didn't want cats pissing in my car and he said they don't have them, Really?? Right next to the railroad tracks?? I was born at night but not last night. I ended up having to take my car to another body shop to complete the repair and I now have scratches on the paint where I didn't have them before. I decided to write this as I drove by yesterday over the overpass (11/23/10) on a rainy day and could see windows of cars open to the elements (brown minivan). read more

OK, so for starters, let me say this is sort of the argumentum ab auctoritate which means that I have lots of experience so you ought to listen to me and rely on my review (translation from Latin-- the argument from authority). I am in my mid-60s and I have had a fair number of car repairs in my life. I got rear-ended in Pleasanton about a year ago, live in Livermore, so on recommendation of my insurance carrier, I took my beloved precious baby (my car) to Tri-Valley Auto Repair. The folks at Tri-Valley couldn't have been more wonderful and accommodating. For starters, as usual for me, I talked politics with the elder statesman, el jefe, and although we were of different political parties, he justified his position, and so I respected him, and we found ourselves on common ground. I loved him and loved Tri-Valley Auto Body! Not only did they repair my car to perfection, but additionally they cleaned up a small additional scrape that was from an old parking-lot mishap (the scrape was near the original targeted damage from the instant repairs). Anyway, not only did they make my baby look like new, but I got a cell call about 15 minutes after leaving the shop to persuade me to return because one of their guys noticed one of my tail lights was out, and they wanted me to return for them to replace the bulb. What a bunch of great guys! Hence, I think these guys are the best, and that you should be comfortable in taking your car to them for repairs. I told them I was a "customer for life"! read more

WOW, you can't beat the service at Tri-Valley Auto Body in Livermore. Today I stopped by the body shop without an appointment to have my bumper looked at after a minor accident. I was immediately kindly greeted by Becky, filled out one simple intake form and then JR took my paperwork and was looking at the damage to my car within 10 minutes of my arrival. The damage was so minor that he drove my car around to the shop and had a repair person realign the bumper and fix the clips within 15 minutes at no charge. I have used this body shop approximately 7 years ago when a big rig hit the side of my car and their work was great back then. Perhaps this was before the days of YELP. Anyway, three people in the shop said that they remembered me coming in before. The bottom line for me is that it is hard to find service any better than this. It is quite refreshing to see people that are friendly and care about maintaining a professional business that keeps people coming back. I highly recommend this business! read more

Excellent job and attentive, congenial and informative customer service! Was rear-ended by in my new car and back bumper was damaged. After they did the repair, I can't tell that there was ever any damage. When hidden damage was found after removing the bumper (which they had initially informed me might happen) they contacted me immediately and informed me of the extra cost before proceeding. They also cleaned the truck which was no easy job as we have two golden retrievers. They were so friendly and provided pick up shuttle service. I brought in my Honda Odyssey after it was side swiped in the middle of the night. These guys gave me a quote for time and expense and even promised updates as we went. Given that the repairs were going to run into Memorial day holiday weekend, I didn't bank on seeing my car until the following week...not so. I got three calls from Robert assuring me that repairs were proceeding, and all was on schedule. I picked up my car Friday and it looked great inside and out. BEST auto body shop in the Tri-Valley, hands down. While visiting family in the bay area, a friend suggested I bring my car here to address some minor damage left over from an accident months before that I never had the time or money to fix. The second I walked in, I was greeted by Julie, one of the sweetest ladies I have seriously ever met, who was quick to offer me a freshly brewed vanilla latte (they have the neatest cafe machine!) and then was promptly offered an estimate by JR, who was absolutely wonderful. It's all family here, and they are truly a great bunch of people. Incredibly sincere, personable, and concerned about my happiness not only as a customer, but get this . . . as a HUMAN. JR did everything he could to help ease the cost of the repairs, which ended up being about a fourth less in price than it should have been. My car was done a day ahead of time and they even washed and detailed it for free! It was such a pleasure doing business here, I almost wish it wasn't an auto body shop because I would be coming back all the time.
