Never got past the estimate. I dropped in this morning to get an estimate for some rear end damage and I did so without an appointment. I was willing to wait if necessary. They had one person doing estimates and he went out to complete one and said he would take care of it next. As I was sitting there a lady came in from the back room and when she found out I did not have an appointment she said "well you will be waiting a long time, we have back to back appointment for the rest of the day." The tone was such I simply got up and said I will take my business elsewhere and my insurance company recommendation too. When I left I had a phone call to make so I sat in the next parking lot making the call and watching for a good 20 minutes. The estimate in progress was finished and no other cars or estimates were started. It appears they have no interest in servicing the public. If they are that busy they would have more estimators. I think someone simply wanted to make sure potential customers knew she was in control. I am calling my insurance company and having the claim moved to another company with far better public service. read more

I called in to get my rear bumper replaced and i am very happy that i approached them. I got my estimate done and my car landed on the responsible hands of Andrew. When i got the car back, no one could tell that the bumper was replaced. Andrew and team did a neat job in carefully replacing the bumper and matching the paint. Both my husband and I had our vehicles at Tri-Valley Auto Body at the same time so I believe this is pretty normal for their shop. The estimated completion date was weeks longer than what they told us when we brought our vehicles in. Not because there was additional damage when they disassembled the vehicles, but because of their lack of skills and knowledge to take on such large repairs. I had to bring my car back after their first attempt at repairing my vehicle. When I got it back, it still had glass inside, which they promised me they would take care of, the paint had blemishes, the weaterstripping, bumper and the lift gate were off and the inside of my car was covered in dust. My husband's truck was an even bigger disaster! They kept telling us it would be done "later today or tomorrow" because they needed to fix something. That turned into 2 weeks. After 51 days in the shop, we finally figured out what was going on. We were going back and forth with our insurance company about what was going to happen to the truck, but in the meantime we were storing the truck at Tri-Valley Auto Body. They left the windows down and left it unlock. Anyone could walk in the back and grab stuff out of vehicles; we did and no one stopped us. No one even questioned if it was our vehicle or not. The lack of communication, the quality of work and length of time it took to get our vehicles back to have to then turn around to take them to another shop was not worth the headache. Not to mention that both vehicles had additional damages because they did not take care of our vehicles while they were in their possession. read more

Went to Tri-Valley Auto Body and they took a preliminary look and encouraged me to get a second opinion. (This impressed me because I've never had auto shop suggest this before). My daughter was rear-ended and fortunately no one was hurt. AAA recommended Tri-Valley Autobody Repair, and since I didn't have a preference I agreed. I called and they were friendly and we scheduled an appointment to drop off the car, and they would assess the damage and submit the required work to AAA. Since the car was drivable, I scheduled an appointment to bring the car back for repairs. Rob was completely honest with me and told me my daughters Fiat would be challenging to get the parts. I dropped off the car, and they arranged for Hertz rental to pick me up to get my rental car. When they started the repairs, they found additional damage, Rob called me to let me know, and arranged the additional work with AAA. I didn't have to do anything. The first parts that came in were not up to par, and Rob sent them back, and communicated what he was doing. I felt they were there for me and what was best for the car. I have dealt with auto repair places that just wanted to get the work done, and move on. Not these guys. From the time I walked in, until the time I picked up the car, Rob and Becky were so nice, professional, and straightforward. When I got the car back, all I had to do was drive the rental car there, and pick up my daughter's car. They took care of the rental, and all the insurance. Great shop, great work, my only issue is that they are not friendly to busy people. It is sooo... very hard to get an appointment and, as a commuter, I could not fit into "their" schedule. I called Chilton Auto Body in Pleasanton, it was same day service and all was good. Again, they do a great job but for a busy person, second time around, I just couldn't make it work for my schedule. If you are retired or a stay at home person, they would be fine. My life is too busy, so I need a business that accomodates busy people. read more

After a Valet in SF smashed my truck door into a concrete pole I went here with money in hand and hopes of a job done right. The actual body repairs looked good, however the job took several days longer than quoted. And when I got my truck back I had extra fasteners in the bed of my truck. Upon further inspection, I popped the hood and found two electrical connectors hanging down behind my bumper!!! They had forgotten to plug in my driving lights! I also found the locations of the missing fasteners. I shouldn't have to check work done at a professional shop. I don't normally write reviews, but this place deserves an excellent review. I ran over a gas can on the freeway and had to get my front bumper replaced as well as the splash shield underneath the car. My car was in and out of there within a week! The gentleman Rob was who I primarily worked with and he was fantastic. He called me with updates, emailed me the estimate, and was just in constant contact with me with regard to my car. I just picked it up today and it looks GREAT! Literally looks like nothing happened to the front of my car - it's like it's brand spanken new! When I dropped my car off it was a little bit of a hot mess, and that's putting it lightly, on the inside. They took the time to clean my hot mess before they gave it back to me, which I appreciated so much (PS I am SO SORRY for bringing it that way, it's normally fairly clean on the inside, I promise!). I really wasn't even expecting that at all. Basically the whole staff was fantastic, super helpful and very efficient. This was my second visit to the shop. Both experiences were great! During this visit I had to bring my truck in for some minor damage repair through my insurance. Everyone was very nice, very professional and super helpful. I felt very comfortable with them.They went over the costs with me and were very easy to work with for me and my insurance company. They definitely aren't one of those shady body shops. Far from it! I even overheard Rob tell another customer that his fender needed repair but they weren't going to charge him. Fantastic job by Tri-Valley Auto Body. A few months back I was in an accident. It wasn't my fault but that doesn't relieve the stress much. I enjoy taking my business to local companies whenever possible but, was hesitant to take it here as none of my friends had used them before. Right off the bat, I was greeted with smiles upon entry and was offered coffee. They addressed all of my concerns on my Dodge Nitro and delivered on their promises. Great customer service! They gave us a quote while we waited and then gave us an appointment so that we could take our car home and drive it until they were ready to do the repairs. When I dropped off my car they gave me a ride home in a clean car with a friendly driver. They looked under the broken bumper and they found more damage. (They told us there might be more damage than they could see with out removing the bumper when they gave us the quote so this was not a big surprise) and did all the paper work with our insurance so that we could get our car back quickly. When we were late to pick up our car they waited for us and had the car ready to go when we arrived. When I took my car in it was in need of a wash and I planed to take it to the car wash after the work was done but no need they washed the car while it was there. When we picked up my car they looked at my husbands car because a check light had just come on that morning. He was told at a parts store he only needed to change the gas cap but the light did not go out. They made sure his car was safe to drive and reset the light on his dash even though it was after hours and did not charge him for this service. I don't know what more you could ask for from an auto shop. Thank you for the great service! read more

Our daughter was involved in an accident and our insurance recommended a few local shops. Tri Valley had good reviews, so we took our Jeep here. This was our first accident, so we did not know what to expect and had a lot of questions and concerns about the car. Robert was great to work with. He explained the insurance and damage estimate process. He provided reliable estimates as far as timeline and how long we would be with out a car during the repair process. He called with updates, worked with the insurance company and got the car to us on the date estimated. So far, Jeep seems to be running just fine and looks as good as new. Had my Highlander there this week to repair a rear-ender collision. Went because it was listed with my insurance. From the start they were friendly and efficient. They did all arranging with insurance. I was kept in the loop with what was going on. Even got a call to say that there was no more damage then anticipated. I expected a call if there was more damage! Got the job done faster than timeline given. The bumper looks perfect! Coincidentally a friend had her car there at same time. She got a call there was more damage than originally thought, but Tri-Valley did all the insurance work. If I ever - God forbid - need body work again, I'll definitely go to Tri-Valley. They were extremely courteous, and were not condescending to me (a woman) as many auto places are. I am a stickler for customer service, and will hold a grudge against someone who doesn't treat me well. No problem here! read more

I got a decent dent from another car door. Luckily, the guilty party left a note so that their insurance would take care of it. Because I don't deal with auto body shops, I went to www.Nextdoor.com (neighborhood website) for referrals. Tri-Valley had by far the most recommendations, so that's where I went. The hours aren't ideal if you work full time, and make sure you schedule an estimate appointment as you can't just pop in unannounced (as my husband tried). Besides those two "cons", the rest are "PROS"! Rob and the staff were not only friendly during the whole process, but their communication with me and the other insurance company was almost daily. I was told they'd need my truck for about a week (needed to replace the whole panel as the dent was on a crease), so it's pretty convenient that Enterprise car rental is next door. Because of the heavy storms we were having at the time, my part didn't come in as expected, so Tri-Valley made the calls to the other insurance company and Enterprise to expand my coverage another week. I did not pay a cent for anything! And my truck looks awesome with the new panel and paint job...can't even tell it was replaced! Recently had my girlfriends car in to have repaired. They fixed it up and on its way in a great amount of time. Once we got the car back we noticed a piece of the trim on it had started to fall off. Don't know if it was originally from the repair but they didn't even care about that. They asked to look at it, took it back to the shop and in less than 20 min they fixed it!!
