TL;DR: I was dishonestly sold a car that would not pass inspection then told it would cost me money for them to fix it when I had owned the car for less than two weeks. I just bought what I thought was a 2004 4-door from these guys. I learned that it is in fact a 2006 when the VIN came back. I had the car for a day--drove it about 60 miles and the check engine light came on. This means the light was turned off manually for the test drive and came back on after the computer completed a drive cycle. I left several messages on their answering machine but had to keep calling because they did not return my calls. When I mentioned to Tom Wayman, the owner, that they sold me a car that could not pass inspection (despite what his salesman Andy promised me), he apologized and told me he'd check with his maintenance man Tony about repairs and call me first thing in the morning. He told me the part would cost between $8 and $12, and the repair would be quick and painless. Of course, I had to call the next day until someone finally picked up the phone at 3:30 pm. I was then told to hold while Tom finally talked Tony about them making this right. (I had to wait so long because he "got busy.") Turns out it would be "at least $70" in parts and labor for them to fix it for me. I declined, saying they were unreliable at this point and I didn't want to give them any more of my money. One of the worst car buying experience I ever had. The car was pictured without showing scratches. Arrived with more stretches many things weren't mentioned didn't work. Communication with seller was poor. They didn't care to send tittle or updates or even answer the calls ever since they got paid. Just don't care about customers who they cheated. Avoid dealing esp with Tony. They refused to acknowledge things that were wrong and made me sign paper stating that they don't owe me anything and that I can not sue them..or else they would not release title! And that's after they got full payment overnight! Total bastards. What a shame for people like that. Real shame! Still to this day...they ignoring my calls and I have not received my title! read more

Stopped by to check out some of the vehicles at the car lot, I walked in the door and wasn't even greeted, there were a few guys standing around talking and a woman at the back of the office. I asked for some assistance and they did help me and were moderately friendly. But overall I was not satisfied with my experience. The sales people were not friendly or engaging and were very cut and dry with their sales approach.... Or lack there of. In the end I went and purchased a vehicle at another dealership , I spent a little more on the car but had a much better experience. read more

I was looking for a vehicle for my son who had turned 16. Spoke with the owner Thomas who was very helpful and sincere in assisting us on the lot. We drove several of their vehicle. No one was pushy. We decided on a BMW that he had on his lot. My son has had the vehicle for over a year now and has not had any problems. He is looking to trade again soon and we will be back again to see Thomas and Todd. read more

The short version: I called ahead to make sure the car I wanted was there. I was told the car was there, so the next morning my Fiancé drove 2 hours out of his way to see the car only to find out it had been gone for a week. The dealer was then rude to us and unapologetic. the long version: I found a car I LOVED. It was a green 2012 Kia soul. I called the dealership at 5:44 pm on June 1 2017 and spoke to an employee who said they did have the car, and I told him I was fairly certain about it and that my fiancé would come to test drive it. The next morning we got up early so he could drive me to work and then got to the dealership. My fiancé got to the dealership and the guy said "yeah that car sold last week." My fiancé called and told me what the dealer had said, so I walked away from my desk to give them a call the dealer raised his voice at me about how it is not their fault because it is "impossible to keep track of all of their cars at all 3 locations." He said the other employee that I had spoken to 16 hours earlier had "sent a driver over yesterday" to get the car, so the employee who I had originally spoken to knew for at leas 12 hours and did not call or email me at all to tell me. They then offered to "knock like 500$ off" of a car that was not the same year or color and was 5k more expensive than the one I had wanted. The whole experience was just awful. read more

Much like the review prior to mine, I was also sold a faulty vehicle. The salesman went through the usual "we're here to provide you with a dependable vehicle that you can afford.." blah blah. I test drove the vehicle and noticed the brakes squeeled a bit. I mentioned it upon returning, he stated "give it a few days, as the vehicle has sat for a couple of weeks. If no improvements, we'll help you out on the matter" Ok, so i went on about my way. Put less than 500 miles on the car and the entire rear brake assembly failed. Took the car to a shop and they said that the rotors, pads, brakes, and lines were all completely shot and should've NEVER passed and sort of inspection because "when you take the wheel off, a common idiot could see that it was unsafe to even manuever in a parking lot". (Which they included a paper saying that it had recently passed). The techs actually stated that it could've easily ended causing a serious accident/death, as everything was melted and borderline on fire. Red-hot melted lines and metal = less than 2' from the gastank. They said that I didn't get any signs of them being this bad prior, because they were SO far gone already, that there was nothing left to grind/make noise, they were already beyond that point. Just the minimal squeeling of what was barely clinging on. I find this extremely selfish and disgusting by the dealership as I had carried two toddlers around in this car numerous times already. Long story short, they would have nothing to do with it, wouldnt return my calls, ignored the subject, and it cost me $1000+ out of pocket. A week later, the car through a check engine light which i diagnosed as "coolant system malfunction" which is usually a sensor/solenoid issue. The master techs at the garage advised me to file a report regarding faulty inspection/brake issue and turn it in to the DMV as it was a serious matter that they dont tread lightly on, as well as file a dispute with the BBB. I was in the market for purchasing a used Yukon Denali XL, one that was in good shape with no accidents, low mileage and good carfax report. I saw a Denali that caught my attention during a Sunday drive at Triad Auto Solutions. I was able to see the SUVs exterior however because they were closed I figured I'd go back on Monday to test drive and see the interior. The minute I walked in Chris (salesman) greeted me and was very down to earth, not pushy at all which i appreciated. I informed him I was interested in the Denali and in no time he had the keys a tag and told me to look inside and take it for a ride, again no pressure. Upon returning I informed Chris that I liked the SUV but there were some things that I noticed that would prohibit me from making the purchase (minor things but enough for me to keep looking). His response was "You tell me what those issues are and we will get them fixed asap" this was not the response I was expecting. I informed him and he confidently stated "we're going to get those things taken care of asap, get the SUV fully inspected and detailed for you so you can take it home" I was wowed that he was so confident that I would be willing to purchase but he was very correct in his assumption. I went in on a Monday and on Friday I was driving the car that I had spent months looking for. The issues I mentioned to Chris had been fixed and the car looked brand new when I went back on Friday for a final inspection, i was even offered a fair amount for my trade in. Chris Did an excellent job and I would highly recommend you asking for him if you're wanting someone that is going to look out for your best interest and not make you feel pressured! I forgot to mention Jesse the Finance Manager!! She was also A+, very friendly, professional and was willing to answer questions and assist wherever needed. Awesome job by both Chris and Jesse in the Greensboro location!!! Now that I've had the SUV for about 3 days, there were some minor issues that I noticed, I called Chris, he spoke with the Service advisor Scott and they asked me to bring the SUV back so they could correct those issues!! Now this is what great customer service feels like! I didn't want them to think I was being nit-picky about every little thing but when you purchase a new/used car you want to walk away not second guessing your purchase and these guys have been top notch!!! If anything changes I will advise but I must say, I'm very impressed and will be recommending family and friends to go visit Triad Auto Solutions in Greensboro and ask for Chris and once you finish with Chris, Jesse will be waiting in the wings with a smile and if there are issues, Scott will be the man to make sure you don't have issues! I could go on and on but if you guys over at Triad Auto solutions are reading this I want to say "Job Well Done" you have earned my respect and thus far have done an excellent job and made me feel like part of the family!! If I could go lower than 1 star I would. Dropped my car off on a Monday due to check engine light being on and wanted oil change and inspection. I did tell them no rush, since I was on vacation for the week. 2 days pass. I hear nothing. I call and the vehicle has not been looked at. The Service Manager says, "Well you said no rush. You're MORE than welcome to come pick it up" I say fine, I'm on vacation this week, just let me know something. TEN more days pass and I hear nothing. I finally call and another person answers and says, "Oh, no we haven't gotten to your car. The guy who was working on your car is out with surgery." WTH? I asked why no one had called to notify me of the situation and his answer was, "Hey, I'm just the messenger." I say, "I'll pick my car up." When I pick the car up, the Service Manager, tells me the same story about the guy being out for surgery. No apology. Nothing. I have NEVER had such horrible service. I wouldn't recommend buying a bicycle from these folks. Service Manager had a nasty attitude. Then to top if off, I e-mail the OWNER about the situation and got NO response. Triad Auto is NO Solution if you're looking for a reputable dealer. read more

Overall the most unprofessional and narcissist car dealership (realistically speaking because I've only been to so many) in the country. I went with my father to this dealership from finding an advertisement online for a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Our buffoon of a salesman, Lee, was who we called days before and two hours prior to arrival. Lee knew almost nothing about this car. He was of no informative help. He was telling me the jeep was not only limited, but "trail edition". I watched him look up "what is trail edition jeep grand cherokee" on google. Now I knew long before it's a sticker that says "trail rated" on the side indicating four wheel drive. Lee wasted about 20 minutes on this topic as I was pulling the hair out of my head and we finally drove the car (no floor mats, manual, no actual key-just a spare insert, and dirty around interior but not disgusting). Got back to the dealership and talked payments. The sales manager Thomas (equally idiotic, bigger buffoon) mistakenly priced the car $1000 in our favor in the contract he wrote up. We let him know about it being far too nice to him and he didn't even thank us. He actually became very agitated. And shredded the contract and wrote a new one with additional charges exceeding the $1000 error. However, this is my dream car and I was in need for a new one so we bought it anyway. We were promised a manual and an actual remote key which he wouldn't give us from the other jeep in the lot. After having to continue to contact Lee via phone for weeks, he had the nerve of mailing us an envelope of 70 pages of the poorly photocopied manual. No key. Prior to that, my temporary license expired and a week and a half went until the plate finally got in the mail so I couldn't even drive it to work in that time. The list goes on with this dealership. If you look on other reviews, you'll notice the vast majority of those five star reviews are very short, equally counting, ratings that will say what they want you to hear about them. I'm astonished by knowing this place is still in business. Never hated a buying experience more than this one. THIS IS YOUR WARNING. read more

Purchased a Lexus SUV from the Graham, NC location and had to return it to the dealer in less than 48 hours due to issues with the vehicle. A manager by the name of CJ screamed at us over the phone and wanted to disconnect the call after i mentioned that the car was a lemon and that we may need to go to court. They kept trying to convince me that it was just the battery. After missing time from work to take it to an unbiased mechanic at an actual Lexus dealership, we were told that the vehicle needed a repair that would cost around $7k and it was suggested that we return the car. I left the Lexus dealer and immediately drove the vehicle back to Triad auto. The salesman, Brent, who was helpful in the beginning, failed to return my calls when I text him to explain the severity of the mechanical issues. The finance manager Corey however did a good job at helping us return the car and getting us into a car that I was comfortable with. I hope I never have to deal with them again. Too unprofessional and I have a hard time believing that they weren't already aware of the issues. read more

Very bad experience. Incompetent and possibly crooked! Lee, my salesman, did not even know all the different types of Jeep Cherokees. When the sales manager mistakenly presented me with a signed contract with a $1000 error in my favor, I pointed this out to him and didn't even get a thank you or not even one dollar more off (I should have just also signed the contract and saved a $1000). Also, Lee promised to mail a FOB key and a manual which the car did not have. After a couple weeks and multiple requests he finally had nerve to mail me about 50 unbound poor photocopy pages of a manual in a vanilla envelope- and never did provide the key. Also, the dealer placed these temporary plastic covers on all floorboards which initially I though this was a nice touch, but when I got home with car there were no floor mats under these covers. If that isn't enough, after 4 weeks while the temporary license expired, dealer still had not processed the plate which required another couple calls to straighten out. You've been warned! read more

I don't have anything good to say about this place. I can't give it any stars, but is making me choose one. I bought a Jeep Commander on January 2.That was a Saturday. It is now February 18 and nothing has been resolved. The Commander tires were going flat the next day after purchasing it. Took it to the service garage. They said they couldn't find anything wrong. Well, my tire was totally flat when I walked out of work the next day. I waited 2 hours for them to send someone out to put air in my tire so I could drive there and they could fix my tire. Remember, they said nothing was wrong with the tire the day before. I was there Monday and Tuesday of the week I purchased it. My alarm went off every time I unlocked the door. The description said it had keyless entry, but in fact it didn't come with a key fob. So I went to the Jeep dealership to price it and have them check on any recalls. They told me that the car was totally rusted underneath. Also, the computer kept telling me to service everything and the transmission was not working right. I left straight there and drove to Triad Auto Solutions. I waited for Tom, one of the owners, to get there. I asked for my money back and my car I had traded in. He told me no, that it was not an option. He told me my car had been wholesaled already. My options were 1. For them to fix what was wrong with the Commander. He wanted to see the rust for himself anyway. 2. To pick another car off of the lot. Well I took my car on Monday, Martin Luther King day. I told them about 3 cars I was interested in driving and looking at as a possible trade. Well, no one would call me back about the 3 cars. They kept giving me crappy, rusted out, smelly, and old cars to drive. They had my car for 3 weeks. When I picked it up, there was no keyless entry (which they told me was being installed). The car was running rough and Richard, the salesman, told me the car was running great. I was not happy. I inquired about the 3 cars. Well they were all sold. I asked about one more car. He said he would check on it. He checked on it for me, but the day we were suppose to go drive the car he never called me to tell me it had arrived. I called millions of times. They never would call me back. I finally got in touch with Ricard on Tuesday, February 16. He hung up on me! He told me that he was told that he could not talk to me. Well, that's not very professional to me and very poor customer service. Their website says they strive for 100%customer satisfaction. I'm not satisfied at all and they don't care! Then I find out that day that my old car that I traded in is sitting in their lot for sale. Yes, they told me it had been wholesaled. When I asked Richard about it, he assured me it wasn't my car. It is my car. It has the very same dent on it that my son made when he bumped into the basketball goal. My service paperwork is in glove compartment. But they are selling the car as 2002, when it is a 2003. The car fax they are giving people for the car is NOT the correct car fax for my car. I do believe that's illegal. I called to speak with the other owner, Todd. Of course he never returned my call either. These people are the biggest crooks, liars and scum bags I have ever dealt with. Please save yourself a headache and stay away from them. You can find way better cars somewhere else. It's sad when the owners don't even stand by their cars. That is sad to me!! read more
