They do have a rotating seasonal menu with some fun flavors. We got: - Hot Vanilla Lavender Latte (4/5): Very noticeable lavender scent and flavor, unlike many other locations that make it more subtle. If you love lavender I would recommend! - Iced Vanilla Bean Latte w/ oat milk (4.5/5): Very solid latte that I wouldn't mind having again, but also not particularly unique. Also worth noting the oat milk they use is planet oat, which isn't my preferred choice. Overall, solid coffee spot with solid beans. I wasn't interested in any of their summer seasonal flavors, but would be down to try out other seasonal menu items next time I'm in town.

So many coffee shops still fill the cup with ice even when you ask for light ice, and I hate watered-down coffee. This one was perfect. The coconut cold foam was absolutely delicious and added just the right amount of sweetness to complement the bold flavor of the cold brew without overpowering it. I also love that they serve organic coffee. I'll definitely have to remember to stop by more often whenever I'm in Coronado in the mornings. Next time, I need to try one of their donuts too!

What an amazing find! So first things first this is their brewery and Roaster location. They specialize in nitro cold brew which has become my favorite way to drink coffee. If you're a Expresso coffee drinker who adds a ton of milk and sugar this may not be the place for you. But that's ok just walk 50 feet in any direction till you hit the coffee shop with a green sign. For me I actually like the taste of coffee and drink it black most times. One thing I've noticed is with cold brew is more favors of the coffees come through, it's less acidic and has more caffeine then drip coffee. They have over a dozen different coffees from all around the world with different roast profiles. Just love what they're doing here, plus it's a family owned and operated. They're directly sourcing their green coffees, roasting in house (love that) so many coffee shops I end up at get their beans roasted by a third party or some off sight location. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I ordered their flight option where I got to pick any four. Had an organic Ethiopian which was a light roast, it had this amazingly great blueberry taste. A dark roast Peruvian great flavor. Ambrotos which was a medium roast Brazilian with MCT oil was super creamy and smooth. Lastly I had their Mexican Chiapas, medium roast brewed with chocolate cocoa powder, cinnamon and orange peel was also a new favorite. As for the location it's self well it's really cool and and the view and walk around bike way village was beautiful. I haven't been to the PB spot yet, but I have zero doubt it matches the same great quality (because the others are so good). I discovered Trident Coffee while riding on the Bayshore Bikeway, and I am blown away by the quality of their beans and the deliciousness of their cold brew coffee. I highly recommend the "Son of a Son of a Sailor" (SSS) cold brew; it is truly exceptional. The flavor is bold and complex, with a smooth finish that leaves you wanting more. In addition to the delicious coffee, the service is top-notch. Jaryl, who helped me with my order, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time to explain the different types of beans and brewing methods, and he helped me choose the perfect beans for my taste. You Definitely have to come to TRIDENT COFFEE, they have so many options of light roast, medium roast and dark roast coffees off the tap! They also have 3 teas...... ask about there off menu drinks as well :) it was my first time a week ago and i got a flight and BRITTANY was huge help, she explained all the coffees and teas on the menu she made it easy to pick and chose what ones i wanted to try in my flight she was very knowledge and didn't rush me. The s'mores latte was probably the more memorable one just because of the graham cracker pieces blended into the cold foam. It added texture and actually gave that s'mores flavor instead of just tasting sugary. My only thing was that the actual latte base leaned a little watery, but the flavor overall still made it enjoyable. Presentation wise both drinks looked so good when they came out. The cold foam, toppings, everything just looked handcrafted and honestly way better quality than what you would expect from a mall coffee kiosk. This is definitely one of those spots where if I'm at Plaza Bonita, I'm probably stopping by for a drink before heading out.

My first stop in was kind of so-so, since at the time the owner was the only employee and even while he worked as quickly as possible it still took forever to get my americano. I almost wrote the place off--but I'm glad I didn't. I've been back two times since, and both times have been great. This shop has a well-curated menu, with good flavors ans d creative options. The interior is designed well and feels homey--the vibe is almost halfway between a second-hand shop and your cool uncle's home workshop. The masala chai and the matcha latte are both really good. You can tell that the ingredients are high quality, and that the owner cares about what he's doing. He's hired a staff member part-time which also helps a lot with order speed and receipt of drinks. I recommend stopping by when you're in the area and looking for a good coffee--or coffee alternative. It's a cool and unique shop that feels community-forward.

I got a small iced vanilla latte with oatmilk, half espresso (I'm here for the creamy vibes not so much the coffee taste), plus vanilla cold foam and cinnamon sugar on top... sooo good. Smooth, sweet, and made exactly how I imagined it to be in my head. The guy working was really nice and even gave me a free sticker, which was a cute touch. They also do breakfast burritos on Sundays from 9-noon. Or atleast this Sunday they'll will... I'll definitely be back, and bringing my husband since he's the real coffee lover.
