We had an amazing experience here! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere felt warm and authentically Western[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], and the food was absolutely delicious--hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The head cook came out to see what cheese we wanted with our pretzel and gave us both to try. The highlight was meeting the owner, Eddy, who was incredibly kind and took the time to chat with us. That personal touch made the visit even more special. Great food, great people, and a place we'll definitely be coming back to! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!

The Whiskey Lodge was down the street from where we were staying and we decided one night to take a walk and check things out. It was pretty dead when we went and there was only one other couple so we decided to sit at the bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The lodge itself is pretty large and has lots of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have a large assortment of whiskeys that you can sample or you can opt for a cocktail. I tried the Peat Sake: Boubon, maple, bitters, scotch mist. It was good and I'd definitely get it again. If you opt for a bourbon, pour just note that the standard size is 2 ounces and not 1 ounce. So if you only want 1 ounce, you have to make that clear because the person that helped us did not and we were a little surprised at the size of the pours. Service was ok. The person who was working was a little snobbish. I don't drink a ton of whiskey and I pronounced the name of something incorrectly and was immediately called out on it which was a little embarrassing. We also asked about hours because we saw two conflicting times and we got our heads bit off because this individual was ready to go home. Maybe he was having a bad night but customer service is the biggest thing that could be improved upon. We'll definitely stop in when we are in the area again.

This was a good outing with a large group. We kind of took over the patio area and had a good time. I got happy hour pricing on the fried pickles (I recommend them, they were sliced like chips and had a little spice to them, old fashioned (strong drink), and Avalanche amber ale on tap. Everything was great and the only thing I'd improve on is some faster service and a couple of the fried pickles were mushy. I wish I tried their Nashville chicken or the rib tips though...maybe next time. The bathroom was clean and I liked the environment overall. Parking seemed limited out front, just something to be aware of.

Wow Guys! What could have been a bad experience was made into a magical experience! To start we were attending a prepaid fare for their Crawfish Boil. It was my first time and my friend's second time. By the get way, all was was very good. Recommendation is to get an early spot because the last reservation, which is what we had, is a little reckless. Now, don't get me wrong. A lot of inexperienced business owners and their staff may have dropped the customer service ball on a night like this, but not Sonia and her team. If you know, you know. Food was great/excellent! We ordered wings, ribblets, spicy shrimp, chicken fried steak, spicy cheese fries, multiple whiskey shots and beer on top of the prepaid ten pounds of crawfish. The only comment was that the ribblets were cold and we were made aware that the crawfish was over sold by 2lbs. We were full and satisfied. Then, we were informed we were sat late, so we were led to move tables because, surprisingly, there was an artist coming in to perform live music. Who doesn't love good live music? Tyler is very talented and performed some of my favorite songs. Cool thing too is he accepts electric tips. I wish more businesses and people did that. We had a party of 10, that's five married couples, and we all agreed we would do this again. It was like homemade VIP access. We were taken care of. We drank, ate and laughed in a high energy, well attended party. A side note: the 2 restrooms are single stalls, well stocked and very clean. To Sonia; thank you for your hospitality and lovely staff that really care about your customers. I'm Looking forward to coming back.

Food was pretty good. The service was lackluster I don't think a lot of people in in that area, are up for being in the service industry.

HOLY FREAKING MOLY, THE BRINKERHOFF IN CASTLE ROCK JUST RUINED ALL OTHER RESTAURANTS FOR ME…read moreFOREVER!!! Listen up, you beautiful degenerates of Colorado -- if you're anywhere near Castle Rock and you DON'T drop everything to go to The Brinkerhoff, you're actively choosing a life of sadness and regret. This place is perched up there like a goddamn castle overlooking the kingdom, windows so meticulously clean I could see my future in them (and it was eating more ribeye). The views? ABSURD. I'm talking "postcard from heaven" levels of ridiculous. You'll be stuffing your face while staring at scenery that makes you question why you ever lived in a basement apartment. The ambiance inside is straight-up opulent too -- crystal chandeliers dripping like diamonds, stone walls, red leather booths, and that massive framed vintage Beech 18 airplane photo that hits different. Speaking of which... My best friend Rob took one look at that classic twin-prop Beech 18 on the wall and the hairs on his arms stood straight up. Turns out he actually flew one of those exact legends back in the day. There's a killer story behind it -- ask the staff about it, they'll hook you up with the full tale. Goosebumps guaranteed. This place doesn't just serve dinner; it triggers full-on life flashbacks. The food? ABSURDITY-INDUCING. I'm still recovering. * Spicy Hiramasa Roll -- TO. DIE. FOR. Spicy tuna, avocado, cucumber, and pure culinary sorcery. One bite and I ascended. I blacked out and woke up speaking fluent sushi. * Big Island Ribeye (16oz, soy-marinated) -- OUT. OF. THIS. WORLD. Juicy, flavorful, marinated in what I can only assume is liquid gold and unicorn tears. MUST GET. I would fight a bear for this steak. I would marry this steak. Hell, I'd let this steak ruin my credit score. * Chipotle Glazed Wagyu Short Ribs -- These bad boys were so awesome I almost proposed. Sweet, smoky, melt-in-your-mouth perfection that made me question every other rib I've ever had. They were basically foreplay for the main course. And don't even get me started on the STAFF. These legends deserve their own parade. Big shoutout to our waiter Larson -- the man dropped recommendations like they were bars in a rap battle. 10/10 service, zero notes. GM Lisa came in hot on the 4th of July, straight from the sister property Sierra, working like a boss and being the friendliest, most knowledgeable human alive. Absolute queen behavior. GM Heather rolled up, made sure everything was flawless, and then dropped restaurant history knowledge like a TED Talk. I felt cultured AND fed. And eternal props to Chloe & Keiley in reservations -- we showed up AN HOUR LATE like the chaotic gremlins we are, and they still saved our seats. That's not service, that's sorcery. This crew isn't just outstanding -- they're the Avengers of hospitality. Outstanding food + god-tier staff + Beech 18 nostalgia that gives your pilot buddy chills = I'm moving in. 10/10. 100/10. Infinity/10. It's a MUST-GO when you're in Castle Rock. Bring your appetite, bring your people, bring stretchy pants, and bring your best stories. I'm already planning my return like it's a religious pilgrimage. Brinkerhoff, you absolute madlads -- thank you for existing. I love you. Never change. (Go. Now. Tell them the unhinged guy AND his Beech 18-flying buddy sent you.)

I had called about two weeks in advance and made a reservation for a patio table for eight, including our parent's dog. Our family was traveling in from three different locations, including my parents who were coming from out of state. It was a very special gathering, not only to celebrate Father's Day, but also because it was the first time our entire family had been together in eight months. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the reservation notes regarding our need for outdoor seating hadn't made it through to the team working that day. The table was ready, but indoors, where our rambunctious retriever wasn't going to be allowed. Here's where the Courtyard Social team truly impressed me. Jimmy and the hosting team immediately went into solution mode. On an incredibly busy Sunday, they figured it out and accommodated us outside without making us feel like we were an inconvenience or a problem to solve. They handled it so quickly and gracefully that no one even had a chance to get frustrated or complain, and I cannot tell you how much I appreciated that. I've worked in hospitality for years, so I understand exactly how these things happen. Reservations get missed, notes don't always transfer, communication breaks down, it's part of the business. But my family doesn't work in hospitality. I can't tell you how many meals, trips, and vacations I've spent explaining processes, procedures, and the fact that "things happen" in hospitality. You all saved me from having to do that this time! And for that alone, I am incredibly grateful. Once we were settled, Jordan provided wonderful service, and the entire experience, from the food to the atmosphere to the genuine hospitality, was fantastic. Jordan was attentive, kind, and made our family feel welcomed and cared for. A huge thank you to Jimmy, Jordan, and the entire hosting team for turning what could have been a stressful situation into exactly what hospitality should be: a problem that guests never have to experience because the team simply takes care of it. Thank you for taking such good care of my family. As someone who has spent my career in the hospitality industry, I don't take great it for granted, and you all absolutely delivered. We'll be back!

I ordered the filet mignon salad, and honestly it was to die for. At first I thought it was a little unusual that the salad came with fingerling potatoes, but wow... it totally works. Steak and potatoes are a classic pairing, and somehow putting them on a salad just makes it even better. The filet was cooked perfectly and everything tasted really fresh. The Benedict has a very rich and unique taste. It's not bad, just different. The million dollar bacon is way too sweet. It tastes like bacon cake which if that's your jam you'll love it. We loved this place when it was Tribe but our one complaint is when at capacity you can't even hear the person across the table from you. I don't mind a mild roar but this is like people are standing next to you screaming in your ear. Look, we support local businesses and this place is no exception. I think that we had very high hopes for this place and our fist round was fairly average. The service was good and, again, people who work here seem to take real pride in the restaurant so kudos for that for sure! BTW, they are starting to do dinner Thursday-Sunday. We haven't tried it but we were told to come back for dinner which we will certainly do.

I didn't get a chance to check it out, but it's next on my list to try! Though, please note all of these places have different operating hours - though you're mostly safe Wed-Sun.
