I like this shop, it's clean and the pricing is fair. I feel like it is sanitary as well, the last few times though it seems like my gel manicure only lasts about 3 days before it starts peeling, I am disappointed in that but my pedicure is okay. I feel like this happens when the gel gets old but I am not sure. Also the lady who did my manicure rushed it a lot and I have bubbles and uneven polish that can also be why it didn't last. I'm really picky when it comes to nail salons and nail tech. Since I've moved back to Bellflower 3 years ago I've been coming to Trill since then. And since the first day I've always only received exemplary service. My favorite is Tiffany and she's been taking care of me for my deluxe pedicure and dip nails. I love how meticulous she is with her work and never rushes through. I get anxiety when it comes to manicure but with her I feel less anxious. She really pays attention if for some reason I am not comfortable. Overall, I love the ambiance of the salon. It's really clean and they have drinks and snacks if you need some. Making an appointment is easy and they have always been transparent and communicative if for any reason there is any issue with the appointment. And in turn it's easy to let them know if I'm running late or need to cancel due to emergencies. I should've left a review a long time ago. I typically get gel polish but was introduced to a hybrid version (they call gel builder) which is even better. The place is bright, airy, and clean. The ladies who run the front desk are so welcoming and accommodating. I recently went back to a nail salon that I had frequented in the past and had a really good experience then that made me choose to come back after a year hiatus. I rarely ever update my reviews or write ones that don't show the best side of service but I wouldn't be an honest reviewer if I didn't share my real experience and after reflecting on how upset I was, I have to say something. I got gelx nails done on July 3rd and by July 6th, my thumb nail started lifting and fully came off. Mind you, I paid over $160 for a gelx set full set with a design and even the design was poorly executed and a deluxe pedicure that didn't remove any of the callus I'd expect a deluxe pedicure to remove and after over 3 hrs of service. The nail tech working with me was not an expert with gelx and often had to repeat or recure my nails and it gave me so much anxiety to have to be exposed to more and more UV light to fix the issues. A salon should have their best gelx experts getting the job done, it's meant to last and the incorrect spacing caused it to pop off only DAYS after. I'd typically come in to get something like this fixed but it takes entirely too long to get any services done here and I can't afford to spend more time correcting something that was so poorly executed the first time. Safe to say I won't be returning. Thanks but no thanks. read more

This place was okay. I had an appt and due to the service I reserved for, they only had one person who was able to do it and I had to wait an extra 40 mins. before they began. I went here for gel builder manicure which was noted when I made my reservation a week in advance. I was fine with waiting but what I found unacceptable is that when I reached out a week later, asking if the gel builder removal is included when getting a manicure, they said no it was an extra charge because of how much time it takes... Which I've never heard of. Usually if you go back to the same salon, removal is included. Instead I went to a salon in Cerritos and they did not charge me extra to remove the gel builder from this salon. It was the first time I received gel builder it was something they suggested which I was willing to try, when I arrived I had to wait 40 mins until they began, i had bare natural nails so no removal or anything was needed. The manicure took 2 hours. My total time I was there was almost 3 hours. I would only suggest gel builder if you have 3 hours of free time lol read more

I have not had a pedicure in months and I work in a veterinary hospital so I am constantly on my feet, pedicures are part of my self care. I found Trill on yelp and thought it was worth a shot, and they did not disappoint. I was able to make an appt via text messages very easily and they were able to accommodate the time frame I was looking for. I was about 15 minutes early and they took me right away. The place is very clean, open, and had a nice variety of music playing which was relaxing. I selected to splurge and did the cbd pedicure and I am so glad I did! Trill has been my nail shop for the past 6 months and I have been very happy with them! My favorite nail techs have been Trish and Tiffany, they always do an excellent job on my manicure. Some of the favorite things so far have been the 5 minute leg massages with each pedicure, the chairs are very comfortable (more comfortable than a massage chair IMO), the way they clean up my cuticles is not too much it's just right, and I feel their prices are very affordable in comparison to other salons I have been to. They are very organized, anytime I text them to book they have an opening and are usually able to take me if I'm a bit early. I normally get a regular gel manicure and regular pedicure and I pay $65 total, not including tip. This last time I tried Gel-X to get my nails to grow and stop breaking and that came out to $65 on its own. Trish did an amazing job on getting my nails to look very natural which is what I love. Also, love that they have OPI colors which I always use. Overall, Trill is a great salon! Love it and I highly recommend! read more

These are my nails from Thursday to today. I had a mani and pedi combo. This was one of the most subpar nail salons I have ever visited. Tbh I had high expectations based on the inside and how well the lady seemed to greet you. My favorite part of getting my nails done is having a pedicure. I was so disappointed and underwhelmed by the experience. I got the $60 combo. Not sure what it's called. But the guy that did it clearly was not their best. He was so superficial when pushing the cuticle down and cleaning the side walls of the nails. I asked him to clean into the side and get any ingrown nails out 3 times throughout the process. However; he used the cuticle cleaner to only scrape through the top third of my toe nail without going all the way through to the bottom of my nail. He literally only nipped a piece of nail from the top. It was just awful. And when it came to the "10 minute massage" he used the last couple of minutes to clean out my toe nails from when I asked him to take out the ingrown. Which of course he did not. Manicure was also awful. As you can see from the picture I still have cuticle around my nails along with little hangnails around my cuticle area. Again, I went on Thursday afternoon. My nails looked like this yesterday (Monday) but I didn't have the time to review. Polish is already off. I don't do gel because I don't like having my nails filed down, I've never had issues with nail polish before.... And this is the awful result. $75. (This includes tip) So here's my review. Do not go. Don't waste your money. Try another place. read more

I really tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. I don't get my nails done often, but when I have in the last year, I've gone to Trill and it seems like I always run into an issue each time and have never fully left satisfied. Yesterday was my final straw. Don't get me wrong, there are some positives like ease of making an appointment and the place being clean, but at the end of the day, those things do not matter if the quality and service at the time at the appointment aren't the best. I got an express gel mani and an express pedi. The gel mani was good, definitely better than the last time I went. The last time I got a gel mani they cut my cuticles too much and I ended up leaving with a few fingers that were bleeding. I spoke up at the end and they were apologetic and offered a discount the next time I came in. Of course it was just word of mouth and I didn't take any pictures so I didn't come in this time demanding the discount. I just came in with hopes it would be better. But my pedi was awful. The nail polish was thick when applied. My tech didn't think to remove the nail polish and reapply once she added the nail polish thinner. She instead added on top of the original thick coat and sure it helped a little, but it didn't help much. This is partly my fault. I should have spoken up during the process. Once finished, I noticed my toes and two weren't even fully painted. It wasn't much, but enough to bother me. I mean, I'm paying for a service. To be honest, this is my first time getting an express pedi with them, I usually get a classic. It might be speculation, but I feel like not getting a higher priced pedi is what resulted in the awful work. They're always trying to sell you add-ons. Again, that's just speculation and it could be just because my tech wasn't attentive. When I went to pay, I let the owner know about my experience and I felt like I got a disingenuous apology. This time she didn't even offer a discount for the lack of good service. I know I'm not owed it, but it just irked me. Seemed like she was too occupied with going back to getting her nails fixed. I've tried and tried my last three times here and i think I've reached my final try. I'll be looking for a new place. read more

I came in expecting a simple, relaxing manicure and unfortunately left with a THROBBING, BLEEDING finger and for them a bad review. The nail tech I got, Mimi, clearly had no intention of doing her job properly. She rushed through the entire process which is supposed to be careful with my cuticles, like she had somewhere better to be newsflash: so did I, and it wasn't sitting in your freezing cold salon getting butchered. Not only was she careless and rough with my cuticles, but she also literally cut a chunk of my nail off. Yes, you read that right. A CHUNK. It immediately started bleeding, and when I flinched in pain, she barely acknowledged it, as if slicing someone's nail bed open was just part of the service. Thanks Mimi. Now I'm sitting at home, with my finger still throbbing and sore, wondering how this place is even allowed to operate. She also tried to charge me for "having to fix my nail" when all she did was just add gel and drill down my nails a million times. They really should practice more, and Im glad I'm standing up for myself because I don't want other people getting hurt. I should've walked out the second I noticed how unsanitary the tools looked, but I trusted them. Big mistake. This was NOT just a bad manicure it was a painful, unprofessional, borderline dangerous experience. Save your time, money, and your poor fingers.
