Went here with my wife last week and it was really fun. They have all different kinds of difficulty for beginners and the more advanced. We went in the 10am-1pm slot. The weather wasn't too bad because there were so many trees, then again it was a weird Dallas week as it was only hovering around 90 degrees for a few days. I believe we did 5 courses and finished by 12. Definitely recommend filling out the online waivers before you go. Only thing I would say is I wish the staff was more energetic. For an adventure park, I would expect a passionate, adventurous staff. Not saying they're horrible, though. Quote from a friend: "Ropes course? First - If you are looking for a ropes course this would be a much better description of the activites here. Second - As a ziplines park I've had much better. Equipment - The gloves are not suitable for much of anything. They have no fingers. Using them did not really protect my hands particularly if you had to self rescue on the zipline. The gloves were supposedly sorted into boxes of small, medium and large but didn't seem to be organized in that manner as the guys were looking in the small box because all the others were too large. . Someone needs to go through and throw out the gloves that aren't in good condition. One guy made the mistake of smelling his gloves. I didn't smell my gloves, probably because the odor from my helmet was overpowering. I eventually got used to it but I'm sure my hair smelled after I took it off. Before we started a visit to the restroom was in order. At 10am already out of tp, certainly something that should be routinely stocked before the day starts or at the end of the previous day. I was quite surprised to find that we would be hooking and unhooking our own ziplines. This is the first time I have ever had to do my own equipment. I had brought my friends who had never before been ziplining. But then again this was not really ziplining. That being said I am sure there were more ropes, obstacle courses than there were ziplines or maybe it just felt like it. When I arrived at most zipline platforms they were very high (as though done for children) I was actually at squat level when landing because they were so low. It made it difficult to run up the ramp.In discussing later with our 6 2 male companion he said he just stood up. I found this to be difficult when arriving at the station and ending up having to self rescue. Self rescue was never explained. Ziplines didn't have much incline.. Two of the ziplines merged in the same place which created a line which was even noticed by one group who was merging. Our group was separated and delayed. We would ask the staff which ones had more ziplines but didn't feel that there were more ziplines. We did the two beginner ziplines and one intermediate (the one that had more ziplines....).After 3 hours our upper bodystrength had disappeared.... A challenging day but not what I expected since I was coming to zipline. A question asked - is this good for kids? Well certainly not young kids. I wouldn't take any kids less than 12.. read more

We had an awesome Family day at TFAP yesterday 7/3 ~ The Staff was friendly knowledgeable and very helpful... It was a challenging adventure, very different from our typical Family outings and our Girls (19, 17, 10, 8) are already asking "When can we go back" We thought it clean and the courses were well maintained. Been to this place twice as a birthday ritual. What a fun place right outside of Dallas! My friends and I discovered this place to celebrate my friends birthday (who is very into fitness and outdoors activities) last year and we had so much fun that we returned again this year for his bday celebration. The park had courses that included a mix of obstacle courses and zip-lining. Great way to spend couple of hours being active. Offers different level to cater to a wider range. Can't wait to go back. An awesome time but it has become quite busy these last few years. The word has gotten out I suppose. I've been to several rope and zip line courses and this equipment is the best and easiest to use and with the least redundancy and the least fatigue getting from one like to the next. Return policy SUCKS! Rained out because of thunderstorms Labor Day. My family and I are from out of town. No one would refund our money because of their policy so they said they had to "get permission". With no answers. I'm actually afraid of heights but with their guidance and helpful instructions I felt perfectly safe! There are many different levels ranging in difficulty; if you're new there they want you to build up to the hard levels by starting with the lowest and working your way up. The instructor my friends and I started with made sure to remember our names and cheer us on through every course, which was very sweet. Trinity forest Adventure Park was so much fun! My boyfriend and I had a great time, and we definitely have plans to return to conquer the black course. It wasn't overly crowded on the day we went, so there wasn't long wait times. One lady took her job a little to seriously though. I understand the importance of safety, and I get our safety is their number one concern, but unbeknownst to us we were hooked up properly, and literally got fussed at. I just took my 14 year old son here and we had so much fun! Online booking was super easy and signing the waiver forms was a snap. It's simple to get to but the sign by the road was partially covered by bushes so we missed it the first time. Staff was very thorough is explaining the rules and procedures. They made sure everyone knew what to do and was comfortable with it before allowing us onto the course. No shenanigans! Safety is rule #1 and the staff takes it very seriously. We saw some kids have to sit out because of their behavior. There are different levels of courses so there is something for everyone. We did a green course and two blue ones. The courses are pretty challenging for first timers like us, but it was loads of fun. My favorite part was the zip lines but my son preferred the obstacles. Bring lots of water to drink because you'll work up a sweat! We will definitely be back. Next time we'll work up to the black course! read more

Our family had a great time! My kids had so much fun and would love to go back. There were several different zip line levels for different type of people. It was just us and two other families we got lucky and didn't go when it was packed which was awesome! The staff was great and very friendly. Before you started you took like a 5 minute course on how everything works and you learned how to move in and around the zip lining area. All of the zip lining area had some sort of obstacle course which was great. Great experience overall! read more

Our return trip to TFAP was just as good as the first, and our daughter and 10 year old granddaughter had a great time, challenged themselves and conquered the next level! *Realistically I would rate this a 4.5 My friend and I decided to go on a hot Friday afternoon and we got quite lucky. The staff said there's usually 100+ people but there were only about two families there. This means we didn't have to wait for people to finish since one of the rules is that there can only be 1 person per "element" and 3 per "platform." There's seven different courses and we went through four of them (Green I, Blue 1 & 2, and Black). I'm so glad that there's fresh, cool water available near us because I definitely needed it!! (I also recommend bringing your own water bottle too so you can carry it to the obstacles). These courses made me so exhausted but it was so much fun. Although I'm not very athletic, I was able to complete each of them, but of course the more difficult ones required more strength and sweat. The obstacles definitely made me push myself but at least I was treated with an exciting zip line (my favorite part). My least favorite part was the tight ropes, and the most scariest part was the quick jump where you free fall for a couple seconds. *A huge tip is that you can zip line across many of the obstacles if you wanted to, this is something the staff didn't tell us. The staff was very nice and knowledgable. They were always there to help and periodically checked up on us. At one point I got stuck and one of the staff immediately came to fix the problem. I also saw a child who ended up crying because she was too scared to get on the zip line, but one of the staff helped her gain the courage to go through (-: Although the staff was always supervising us, it felt like a self-guided activity. Overall, this was a really great experience which included so many adrenaline rushes. However, this isn't something I would do again anytime soon. I'm not sure if it this was worth the price but it's something fun to treat yourself with. If it was cheaper, then I would definitely come back more often! read more

We were so impressed with this fun adventure!! The staff were knowledgeable and helped my deaf daughter incredibly without making any issue of her being deaf. I can't tell you how much I respect a place that does that. I recommend this place if you're looking for a challenging, super fun outing!!!! In town from San Antonio, wanted something different, outdoors (ie not bowling, arcade, etc) and appropriate with 3 kiddos ages 6,9,&12. What an awesome experience!!! Honestly thought 3 hours was too long but it was PERFECT!! Great venue and great customer service! Unfortunately upon arriving we found out our youngest would not be able to participate on the aerial obstacle courses however it was my error as I had only read the age restrictions and missed the height requirements...nonetheless since I was the only adult with my kiddos they accommodated by having an employee supervise my 6 year old in the playground like course which was definitely more suitable. An absolute blast! Our kids 12, 10, and 6 said it was their favorite part of vacation. Our family enjoyed the Adventure Park while vacationing from out of state. We purchased tickets the night before for 3:00-6:00. We arrived early and they were able to let us get started early. The entire staff was super helpful, explained everything very well with the ground school session. All five of us had a great time. They have the courses organized by difficulty. Whole family was able to go thru the Yellow and Green 1 course, and the combination of obstacles and zip lines made it a lot of fun. Really only had 1 area that my 6 year old struggled on (cargo net) but she got thru and staff offered suggestions to make it easier for her. The older 2 got along really well because of the good teaching. 3 hours was a perfect amount of time. We were all tired, but really happy with the experience. If we lived closer, I would have loved to come back and complete the rest of the courses. read more

What an amazing place - money well spent!!! My kids (ages 21 and 17) and I came here a few weeks ago and LOVED it. The staff did an exceptional job at instructing, monitoring and encouraging us the whole time. There are lockers close by for personal items and plenty of water. We had our own water bottles, but refilled twice during our allotted time. Dave, Maddie and Emily (hope I got those names correct!) we fantastic!!! The place was quite a trek from where we live, but it was definitely worth it and we will be back for the night time zip lining!!! read more

Took our 14 year old her for her 15th birthday with some of her friends. We also had a 6 year old with us. I personally did not participate but they had a blast. This might be the scariest most fun place my kids have ever been to. It was amazing. The staff was tough, but thats the way they need to be at a place like this. Would recommend this highly. They had several courses including a 'black" course which was the hardest one. My kids did the black course and got stuck a couple of times. Not for the faint of heart but still had a blast. Absolutely amazing park that goes beyond expectations :D My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary and enjoyed every second of our time. The drive & reservation process was benevolently easy. We both loved the freedom to zip-line without a guide next to us, as well as, the challenging obstacle courses in between each platform! The notable staff were tremendously attentive, fun, and gave concise instructions. Furthermore: Tim, David, and Leon were awesome and extremely helpful. The entire park is incredible and I can't imagine anyone regretting their decision to zip-line at this park. We went to this park today and had so much fun! The staff was amazing, including the workers at the park. One worker even rescued by cell phone that fell from 45 ft in the air! Another employee did the black course with us to show us tricks! We would totally recommend this to anyone wanting a challenge or just a fun date! We will definitely do it again! During my experience, while some aspects of the park were outstanding, such as the beauty of the trees, the safety of the lines and ropes, and the ample time allotted by the park (3 hours) to experience more than one of the multi-levels of courses, I wasn't at all happy when there was no staff member nearby to hear me ask for advice while on a precarious platform---on at least 4 occasions! I hollered loudly and courteously to the staff members who were always too far away, huddled together chatting with each other instead of being available near each course for any possible questions. My loud voice never got their attention. If they had been available, my experience would have been very fun, instead of full of anxiety and frustration. read more

Horrible customer service! I don't even know where to start. The website is misleading and when you call the employees do not know where to direct you. Buying tickets is very misleading. The website does not tell you that you have to schedule an appointment. The manager was the absolute rudest person I have ever spoke to and he needs a class on customer service! I was a little concerned at first with safety, but you are always attached to something so you can't fall. They are very safety orientated and i felt completely comfortable. Great place to take the family (7 yo, 12 yo, 17 yo and 48). The staff the day we went we're phenomenal. They were helpful when you couldn't figure out how to move around an element and were real patient even when we were slow through a course. The trees kept the sun at bay and the temperature down, so sunscreen wasn't necessary. Three hours is the perfect amount of time to wear out the younger kids. Take a cooler with water and snacks. The yellow and green were a perfect adventure for our 7 year old. Next time we need to take a go pro or rent one from them. All the kids want to go back! read more

It's the adult playground in the trees! A mixture of zip lining and ninja warrior-esque obstacles, combining obstacles that require balance, technique, and sometimes strength, all while in the trees. Don't worry though, you are always connected to safety climbing gear that keeps you connected to safety lines. The great thing about this place is that you are in control of which paths you want to go. They utilize legit climbing gear that is setup to allow you to clip in and out between every obstacle, all while always maintaining and ensuring your safety since the climbing gear they have keeps you clipped in at all times. Also, they do have plenty of staff at key points in case you were to get stuck at any time. You do go through orientation for about 10-15 minutes about how the gear works and how to traverse the zip lines, but after that, you are left to adventure on your own. The start of the course is always the same, BUT once you climb to the top, you have about 6-8 ways to go. Each course ranges in difficulty, with the more difficult ones requires more endurance and strength. Like I said though, this is an AWESOME experience you have to try out! You can easily spend the 3 hour block trying to complete each course without feeling rushed. Also, the view when you do the toughest obstacle is amazing since you are above the treeline and can see for miles! Definitely worth trying out at least once! read more
