DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Actually, I don't even know if it's a company. I could not find them…read moreanywhere- not registered in the State of Illinois and not with the Better Business Bureau. Just as with the other review, there is terrible communication with them disappearing for days at a time. AND to make it worse they did not perform the task that I contracted for AND paid a cash deposit. they were supposed to install french drains around our house using perforated pipes. They were also going to apply a waterproof coating on the foundation, bury it in gravel, and then cover it with concrete. After they disappeared for the first time, we inspected their work and found that they had installed regular PVC pipes with no perforation and there was no waterproofing. They also placed the outlet a few feet from the house in an untreated hole with a pipe with no grate- inviting dirt into the system and water flowing back into the house. When questioned the main guy- John Smith- lied and said that is not what they were going to do. Again, his contract stated the above. John got upset and threatening. They also left all of the dirt, concrete and other debris piled on the driveway making it unusable. These people, or this guy, are totally crooks. They charged us way more than they should have and did not complete the work we did pay for. If we hadn't noticed the work, they might have come back with concrete and the house would still flood. John Smith and Inspired Home Solutions are dishonest, unprofessional, and I do not even believe they are a legitimate company. They have no address information, no online presence, and only a cellphone that is turned off most of the time. We are desperately trying to get our money back but we have no way to reach them or serve them. Let me repeat- DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. The garage at the foundation leaks way worse than when they started. He would not communicate well at all and they are now not returning my calls to come and fix the leaks. I should have done more research but I figured that because they were on Angie's list, it was legit. Please reconsider before hiring this company.
