My first time checking this place out after having seen a tik tok post about it and I was very pleased with my experience here. Upon entering you are greeted with a very aesthetically pleasing interior with plenty of seats and benches to wait for your drinks or have a quick conversation with friends. I did see some people studying in here so chances are they might offer WiFi but I didn't ask. There's a menu right in front of the cashier, kind of wish they had paper menus to look at while you wait in line or if there was a bigger menu hung up somewhere just so you don't stall while figuring out what to order in front of the cashier. I had to try their banana matcha with oat milk and it was so yummy, a little bit earthy tasting but I am barely getting used to the taste of Matcha. My friend ordered the energizer drink and it definitely tasted more bitter than sweet if you're into that. Drinks are served without a lid but you can grab one in the front. I didn't try any of their desserts but they looked so appetizing and I would definitely go back to try them. I recommend this spot for sure.
Waited 37 mins for our drinks while seeing NUMEROUS people who ordered after us get theirs. After 25-30 mins of waiting, had to ask where our drink was. We got a "oh, give us a few mins" - either they forgot our order - my drink that's called "satisfied" is tougher to make than the rest? - seguro drink tasted watery Still puzzled how we got bypassed by people who ordered after us.
This place has good drinks! I would recommend coming here! It is a good place to get a quick refresher and it's a good place to get a small dessert too! I usually get a Matcha Einspanner with oatmilk and it's really good! It's not watery at all and you can taste the matcha flavor. It wasn't overly sweet too. I tried almost all of their small desserts and honestly i think the only one I really liked was the coffee one. It was not too sweet but everything else was. I had to kind of throw a lot of it away because it was just wayyy too sweet for me. I have a big sweet tooth but it seemed like it was all white chocolate and the chocolate shell they used was just so sweet paired with a sweet cream. It was a big too much. Overall I recommend the drinks but maybe not the small desserts. It was nice to try them though.
i arrived at the morning mood a little after 12 pm on a sunday, so the cafe was pretty packed. still, i was able to find a spot in their parking lot and received my order within 10 minutes. "comforted" cookie butter latte( espresso, biscoff spread, cold foam, choice of milk): 7/10, 50% sweet was sweet enough in my opinion! while the space is cozy, seating is limited, so it feels more appropriate to grab and go. the price is a bit steep for a caffeinated drink with a cream top ($7.50), but i was able to sip on it for a couple of hours.
The Morning Mood is a very aesthetically pleasing cafe. Their neutral colors and decor give an earthy vibe to the space. I decided to grab a coffee Sunday morning, which is usually peak time but to my surprise there was no line. There were many people enjoying their drinks inside and outside the cafe. I decided to order the honey lavender latte which was made fairly quickly. The latte was delicious. The lavender in the latte was very prominent and the coffee flavor was very light. The honey was very present in this drink and tasted yummy. I tried to order an additional drink for a family member who it not having caffeine at this time and they did not have the option for decaf which was a little odd as most places do. However, their pastries look delicious and I will be back to try other drinks on their menu.
This place has been going viral, so of course I had to check out what all the hype was about. I didn't realize it actually replaced What a Peach seems like the same owner, just a different name. When I walked in, I immediately noticed how modern and clean the space is. I ordered the "Playful," which is a banana matcha. It was good, but definitely on the sweeter side. Customer service was great, but my only complaint is the wait time. There was only one person making drinks, and it got pretty crowded. They could definitely use more staff I honestly felt bad seeing how busy it got.
I decided to stop by and check this place out while on my walk. It's a cute little spot with both indoor and outdoor seating and some cool coffee options. The day I went there, it was super packed. I imagine because they are fairly new and everyone in the neighborhood is curious about them. Luckily managed to find one table way in the back to sit at. There was also a 15 minute wait to get my drink. I think it's because there were so many people waiting on their orders ahead of mine. I believe the guy I spoke to when I placed my order was the owner, he was very nice, and mentioned it was a bit of a wait. I didn't mind it, so I decided to wait. I ordered the date latte for myself and the lavender latte for my dad. Both were delicious. I also noticed they had a selection of desserts. I'd definitely be curious to try them out the next time!
New coffee shop in the neighborhood. I stopped by to get coffee while in the area. Parking was hard to find, long line to place an order. Very friendly and hard working staff. They constantly apologized for the wait time which took over 15 minutes to get my drink. Most of their desserts were sold out. There were six pieces left. .. ........Now the coffee ... I ordered the Locked In and couldn't even finish it. After a few sips l realized I'm drinking water with a splash of coffee. It was watered down and had no coffee flavor at all. I was very disappointed. I understand it's super busy and no one seemed to mind waiting but please make sure you are serving decent coffee drinks. I paid over $7 for the drink. I'll probably try something else next time I'm in the area and update my review. Hoping it will be a better tasting coffee. ...
Honestly so obsessed with The Morning Mood! As soon as you walk up, the vibe is already so good. They even have "Good moods start here" on the floor right when you walk in, which is so cute and accurate. The inside is incredibly aesthetic, clean, and welcoming. I couldn't resist taking a quick selfie in their gorgeous "you look good in this mood" arch mirror. It's the perfect spot to just chill, relax, or get some quick work done. I got the banana matcha latte and a chocolate croissant. The banana matcha latte is an absolute masterpiece. It has the perfect layered look, a beautiful rich green matcha color, and it's topped with a delicious, crunchy crumble that pairs perfectly with the smooth banana flavor. The chocolate croissant was also amazing: flaky, buttery, and packed with chocolate. Service was fast, friendly, and super welcoming. If you want incredible drinks, delicious pastries, and the perfect morning vibe, this is absolutely the spot. 10/10 recommend!

Beautiful atmosphere! It has such a clean look to it without feeling like you're sitting at a clinic or a hospital. I tend to not like places like that but this place feels so comfortable! I've come here twice in a row already (yesterday after class and today with a friend). I had the playful yesterday which had the perfect taste of banana without it tasting artificial which I enjoyed a lot. I tried the cheerful today and it had a perfect matcha to strawberry puree ratio without one overpowering the other. I also had a very delicious tasting croissant. I opted to get the plain one which was honestly one of the best croissants I've ever had. A helpful hack: dip the croissant in the matcha. It adds such a delicious flavor to it!! (I dipped it in the strawberry one) The service is great the employees were super sweet I was helped out by a man at the register today and he gave great recommendations to my friend. Very communicative! I think I found my go to spot for matcha after class! I'm yet to try their coffees but I'm sure they taste just as amazing as their matchas!
Mike and his entire staff are a ray of sunshine. I expressed it was my first time and they quickly helped me choose based on my flavor preference. I'm a total coffee snob and their coffee - from their espresso, to house made syrups, and unique cold foam. Just outstanding. Nowadays coffee is expensive and this time, mine was worth every penny. If you're in the area and want a really good iced latte, come here!! Inside is a total vibe btw. Clean, modern; I was able to enjoy my lunch break and recalibrate for the day.

HOW YUMMY! Service was quick and efficient...Since it is a fairly new coffee shop, there is not a lot a foot traffic, so I appreciate how quick I was attended to and served. I loved the two matchas I got which was the matcha einspanner and the banana bread matcha latte! So delicious, creamy, and rich! This cafe is a great place to sit down, relax, and study! So...I'm in a coffee tour for myself visiting all the coffee shops that opened in LA years after I moved away. I'm currently visiting and making my rounds haha. This spot opened across the groomers I used to take my dog too and I had to try it. I was greeted by all the lovely ladies working at the coffee shop. The space is nice and spacious, well lit and great to meet with a friend or even do some computer work. Anyways, they had so many fun drinks and pastries that looked heavenly I had to stop myself from buying some. I tried the satisfied latte which was a ferrero rocher latte and so good. If you like chocolate and hazelnut this is amazing. read more

Great variety of coffees and matchas at this cafe. Stopped here after a hike and their drinks were the perfect pick me up. We tried these 3: 1. strawberry matcha- was impressed by the good quality matcha and strawberry purée that was not overly sweet 2. energized (brown sugar cinnamon shaken espresso) 3. locked in (americano with zesty cold foam) - very unique and refreshing! Husband enjoyed this one a lot since he is not into drinks that have too much milk. Quick, friendly service. Clean and modern decor. Would come here again for working or catching up with friends. read more

I stopped by Morning Mood after noticing it recently opened, taking over the former What a Peach location. Same owner, but a completely different concept. Walking in, I'll admit I was a little surprised the signature peachy vibe is gone (and I do kind of miss it!), but it's been replaced with a calm, minimal aesthetic. The space feels more relaxed now, with comfortable seating that makes it easy to sit and stay awhile. My friend and I ordered a few drinks to try. I got the Grounded, my friend ordered the lavender. The lavender wasn't our favorite, but the staff was great and let us swap it out for the brown sugar drink, which was a much better choice. As for my Grounded coffee drink, while the flavor was good, it leaned more toward a dessert than a coffee. It was pretty sweet, and I personally would've loved an extra shot to balance it out and bring out more of the coffee flavor. That said, I really liked the date-infused syrup it's a unique touch. Overall, it's a great new spot with a welcoming owner and a totally different vibe from before. I'd definitely come back and next time I want to try one of their pastries. Parking note: there's parking in the back as well as street parking, which is always a plus. read more
Dropped by yesterday morning on the way to work. This place replaced the old Whata Peach, still have parking in the back available along with their back door entrance which was convenient. Walked in and was greeted by the young lady working. There were already a handful of people at 8am which was nice to see. Beautiful decor and love the calm and relaxing colors. I ordered their iced "Comforted" which is their cookie butter latte. Another man came out from the back and said hi and asked if it was my first time and I said yes, we chatted a bit and he also handed me my drink shortly after. Super nice guy, maybe the new owner? Didn't catch his name! Drink was delish BUT more so on the sweeter side. I wish I had asked for how many shots were in it because it definitely could've used another. Very busy & loud coffee shop with lots of seating available both inside & outdoors. On a Saturday morning the line to order was long & the wait time for my drink was between 10 - 15 min. They don't offer customizations for choosing iced for their hot specialty drinks which was disappointing. With that being said, I love how they have different unique flavors for their espresso drinks. I ordered their iced shaken brown sugar latte and it had great flavor and coffee to sugar balance; would definitely some back & try some of their other drinks. They also have really cute aesthetic pastries that I didn't try any but they definitely looked appetizing read more
The staff was friendly, service was fast, and there was plenty of seating inside, making it a comfortable spot to hang out. They offer a variety of drinks and treats, including coffees, matchas, pastries, and desserts. I ordered the Energized ($8), and it was really good! The coffee flavor came through nicely, and it wasn't overly sweet, which is exactly how I like my drinks. Beyond the coffee, I really loved the atmosphere. The space is minimalist and calming, making it a great place to relax, study, or get some work done, especially early in the morning. Parking was easy with spots available in the back, plus free street parking. A lovely coffee shop with a great vibe. I'll definitely be back to try more of their drinks. read more

New coffee shop! Just happened to pop in on their soft opening day. Absolutely beautiful interiors. Super friendly and generous staff. Delicious & unique drinks. One of a kind pastries. My husband ordered a cookie butter latte & I got a banana matcha. Their menu stands out compared to other coffee shops with items you haven't seen before. They don't charge extra from milk alternatives which I love. The pastry case is beautiful with one of a kind pastries. Definitely check this place out! read more

i stopped by the morning mood for the first time this morning & i was pleasantly pleased. as i walked inside the cafe i recognized how beautiful the decor is & the different table seatings they have. i was immediately greeted by this lovely lady & as i was about to order i seen their really cute fruity shaped deserts. i couldn't help & get myself one. i ordered myself the playful which is their banana matcha latte with a blueberry chocolate dessert. i do have to say that the banana matcha was absolutely delicious. it was not too sweet at all. i love the wafers crunch on top, it completes the drink. the color of the matcha was perfect. the blueberry chocolate dessert was so yummy. the mini blueberries inside was such a yummy surprise! it was so good! i most definitely will come back & try their strawberry matcha. read more

If you're a matcha lover, this place is for you! Their drinks are delicious and fun. You can sub the milk for non-dairy milk, which is a plus. I would say to double check any creams or whip creams if you're vegan. The vibes are okay. It's more of an order and go. It just gets too crowded to do any work in there. read more

Relaxing atmosphere, nice engaging staff, and the coffee... amazing!! Enjoyed a few kid free minutes to myself. Had the comforted ice coffee and can't stop thinking of how delicious it was. One of the best coffee shops I have discovered here in the valley. Certainly a favorite of mine. Ordered the ferrero rocher latte and I was quite satisfied with my drinks while they are a bit pricey, they have a great depth of flavors I am very much a coffee lover. There were quite a bit of of people at the coffee shop and there is some seating. Would definitely come at a later time, mornings seem to be pretty busy. read more

Stopped by this matcha spot with my coworker and we both enjoyed our drinks!! I got the matcha strawberry and she got the banana matcha. I do like the banana matcha better than the strawberry. Most matcha places skimp out on the banana cream, but each sip we took, we definitely were able to taste the banana! They also sell very cute pastries that I would definitely be back for! read more

Decided to stop in this cute and chic coffee shop while in the area and it was a great choice! The two baristas were really friendly and greeted me right away. Almost every seat was taken as a lot people were sipping on their lattes while working. I did get mine to go though. I ordered the comforted latte (cookie butter) iced and with less sweetness. It was so delicious and creamy! By far my favorite cookie butter latte I've ever had. It was more like a dessert than coffee but a perfect treat for a busy week. I cannot express how much I love this place. The staff is always so welcoming (and I come here so often, they remember my name ). The drinks are consistently delicious. My favorite is the focused matcha latte. It's a great place to study or to hang with friends. I would pick this matcha/coffee spot over any other in the valley. I stopped by on a Friday around 9am and it was easy to find street parking. There were a few people inside, some were chatting and enjoying their drinks, one person working on a laptop, and another one reading a book. It seems like a good spot to get work done since it's chill and quiet. I was greeted when I walked in and was able to order right away since there was no line. The menu is right by the register. Such a cute and bright spot, loved the vibe the moment we walked in. I ordered the Cheerful Matcha and it was pretty good, not too sweet, just the way I like my matcha. My husband got the Locked It and unfortunately wasn't a fan of the citrus zest (so maybe skip that one if you're not into zesty flavors). For breakfast, we shared the mango mousse and chocolate croissants, both were a nice treat to start the day. read more

The coffee was good, and so is the raspberry pastry that I got!!! They have good variety choices for coffee and I got the salted caramel date latte, the coffee is strong and it's not overly sweet which I really like!!! So excited about this new local coffee shop! Such an aesthetically pleasing space with a fun assortment of drinks and pastries. I loved that the menu items were all different moods! I had the pleasure of trying the "carefree" which is a coconut matcha. I loved this drink so much, I came back the next day to try out the "playful" (banana matcha) and the "comforted" (cookie butter latte). The matcha in both drinks was strong; the carefree offers a bit of a subtler, not sweet, and refreshing flavor while the playful is very banana forward and sweet. Both were amazing and I did not have a single complaint about either one. The comforted had a very smooth espresso and was also very sweet and creamy with a strong cookie butter flavor; if you're not a fan of sweet drinks, I would probably ask for a less sweet version but I enjoyed these as they came. Such a friendly and welcoming staff as well, they seem genuinely excited and grateful to have people try out their spot. Tried the newest addition to Chatsworth street, The Morning Mood. Employees here were very friendly and recommended us drinks based on what we like, they were happy to accommodate when I asked to make my drink less sweet. We didn't try any pastries however they had a nice selection available with some other fun sweet treats. It was a very clean aesthetic inside with a good amount of tables, seats & outlets. Overall, I loved the vibe and will definitely be back again soon! read more

I've officially found my go-to spot, and best of all, right here in the heart of GH!!! Morning Mood is hands down the best place to turn a sleepy/grumpy morning around. The vibe here is awesome, aesthetically pleasing, and most importantly, highly Instagram-able. The staff/owners are genuinely cheerful and welcoming, which is such a rare treat when you're still waking up. You won't only be walking out with a cutesy coffee, but also a huge smile that screams "I'm on That First Sip Feeling". Also, if you need a serious wake-up call, you have to try the "Energizer." I got mine with an extra double shot, and it's perfect--smooth, semi sweet, and exactly what I need to kick start feeding my caffeine addiction for the day. The set up and the minimalistic look is the cherry on top. I do hope they will eventually extend the hours as my years long search for the perfect coffee spot to get some work done will finally be over. Highly recommend! read more
