Went in here for an abhyanga last week for the first time and the experience was the completely satisfying. Massages, when done right, are the most effective method to destress and this spa really got it right. The appointment was simple, with questions being answered in a comprehensive and polite manner. The space is cozy and comfortable. The therapist was knowledgeable and accommodative of my requests, making it a thoroughly relaxing 60 minutes! I had an Ayurveda Massage with Bina and it was wonderful! She was available the same day that I called at a convenient after work time. I had been in crazy pain for 2 days and couldn't sit or lay down comfortably. Bina was very considerate with my mild apprehension since I had never had a massage before. This kind woman who's name I'm unsure of made a last minute double appointment work for my mom and I which I truly appreciated because I know she had to work some things out. Both of is adored our therapists. My family and I recently lost my father and after a month of pure hell, she and I decided to try and do something to aid in the healing process. My hot stone massage with Jennifer was lovely, she has the perfect touch and I felt comfortable with her which was nice because sometimes these things make me anxious. She seemed so purposeful in her movements and it felt amazing. And my mom walked out of the room with her masseuse talking with her like an old friend and it seemed her therapist really took care of my mom knowing she had some sorrowful energy to release. Both of us really enjoyed the experience and feel MUCH better since we both had muscle aches and back pain prior. Kathy is fabulous! The only other bikini wax I've ever gotten was at my nail place (bad bad idea)! Kathy distracts you with questions and conversation and most importantly she uses hard wax which is far less painful and makes all the difference in the world! She was totally right when she said by the time it was done the pain would be completely forgotten! Since she did such a good job I asked her about nose hair waxing which I'd heard of before and always wanted to try! Well, it's a MUST add on at just $12!! It did not hurt AT ALL!! My first experience at TrioSpa was in a desperate situation. I had a terrible knot in my back and needed some help asap. I called a few places and wasn't able to get an appointment quickly. However, when I left a message for Kathy, she returned my call within a half hour and was able to schedule me for a 90 minute massage later that day. At that point, I was just psyched to get any treatment and didn't have super high expectations. Well... not only did I get a massage the same day, but it was absolutely incredible! I've probably received at least 30 massages in my life and the work Megan did on me was easily one of my top 3 massage experiences! Her touch was divine and so intuitive. I left feeling relaxed and refreshed and, most importantly, the knot was gone! I mean GONE! Many times I've gotten a massage that provided temporary relief, only to have the problem reappear in a day or two. But Megan totally and completely erased all of my pain and discomfort. The reason for this rating being low- I went for a facial this weekend and the aesthetician worked on some stubborn blackheads and now I have 3 dark spots (pimple like) where she was unsuccessful. She could have detected that they need more steaming or skipped them vs leaving marks on my face. Really disappointed read more

I went to facial to Kathy and to massage to Ed often. There is no fancy ambiance with exotic teas and plush robes while waiting.. But if it is more about service quality for you - it is a place to visit. Facial with Kathy is about getting a best look and feel for my skin. It feels great and she gives a good advise about skin care. Massage is great to the each bone. Never can believe that my 60min session is over. I also use to say"more preassure, please" and this is a first place I am not tempted to do it. I had an injury and took a 3 month off the spas, and my skin is missing Kathy!!! O, yes, they do not "push" "signature products" every step of the way, as many other SPA places. It is a big relieve..But Kathy will recommend best things on market, if asked. read more

I surprised my husband with a couples massage on his birthday last month. My husband and I were very happy with Tina and Debbe. Debbe is the massage therapist I had and she was wonderful. Both Tina and Debbe explained their services in detail, they made us feel very comfortable during our session, which is much appreciated since this was our first time getting a massage. The atmosphere is very soothing, with soft music playing and dimmed lighting. I have already recommended TrioSpa to a friend! Karen uses her own blend of massage oil and it was great for my skin. She was professional and a delight to be with. Trio Spa is a tucked away on the Alameda. The room my daughter and I shared was very cosy. Yes it is a little tight, but once the massage gets started you forget that. Meghan worked with me and she was very pleasant and asked about areas that were most important to me, she listened and did focus on those areas. This morning went in for a couples massage with my husband. From the outside, the place does not look like a spa but once inside, it felt more like one. It is a small space with just a few rooms. We were in a longer room with two tables. The atmosphere was very calming and relaxing. Our masseuses were Juanita and Bina. When we first arrived, we filled out some paperwork and were offered some water which we accepted. They were both super attentive and asked if there were any areas we wanted them to focus on and how deep we wanted our massages. As we received our massages they offered aroma therapy and played calming music. The massages were great. My area of concern was my shoulders and Juanita really focused on it, relieving my tension. She found muscles that I did not know were tense and subsequently relaxed them. My husband's area was his back and Rina did the same for him. We both came out of the spa feeling rejuvenated and ready for the day. As we left, they gave us some offers to use on our return, which we definitely will. read more
