I had purchased a new battery from a different parts place and it was dead within 6 mos. The warranty allowed me to replace it which I did, but six months later it went bad. I had to think hard about why the battery was dying. She said something is draining it at night. And then it dawned on me. My okd truck had a new alarm system installed by an outside vendor at Hamer Toyota. It was expensive but I wanted to ensure no one would steal it. Well it was taking up too much power all night. And I only drive it about once a week. So she said you need a heavy duty for like a bigger truck to keep it from dying. I said let's do it.
