My sister flew all the way from Germany wanting to take a piece of Texas back home with her, and we are so grateful we found this place. We were initially struggling to find boots that fit, but we were quickly approached by an incredible gentleman who turned our frustration into an education. He was so kind and passionate; he explained that for tall boots, it's about the calf fit, not just the sole size. He taught us how to read the codes inside the boots rather than just the size tag and personally helped us try them on and off with such patience. When we moved to the hats, he was just as helpful. He made sure we picked hats that wouldn't fly off while horseback riding and helped us color-match them perfectly to our new boots. He even steamed and customized the hats right there (the photo of him working his magic with the steam is a memory we'll cherish!) to ensure a perfect, firm fit. Beyond his expertise, he shared the wonderful 70-year history of his father's store. He made us feel so welcome and happy--it felt like talking to a great father figure.
