Strawberry shortcake cake to die for! Wow! Had a slice at a graduation party...., so yummy!

The employees manning the North Andover store on Thanksgiving day ignored us (deliberately it seems) when we knocked on the locked door trying to get their attention. We had arrived at 1:51 pm after calling and confirming that the store was supposed to be open until 2:00pm. We had come to the store because we had a last minute thanksgiving dinner issue, an issue that could have been addressed by what we could see in front of our eyes behind the counter of the store. But it seemed that the employees were only thinking about themselves. They turned off the lights inside the store even as we were watching them, continuing to ignore our attempts to get their attention. Somebody should explain what customer service is to these people. read more

One of the absolute best cakes I've ever had !! Buttercream on top , infused with strawberry and chocolate mouse. Amazing

Great selection but they don't have their cannolis on display like Mike's does. They accept credit which is nice. Late hours makes it convenient. Great spot, will be back! read more

This is my favorite place for square sweet sauce pizza. I attend Merrimack College which is only a minute away from this location, which makes it very convenient for traveling. The pizza does not take long to be made and cooked, which is great. The taste of the pizza is excellent, I love it. It is thin, crispy and just the right amount of cheese and sauce. The sauce is on the sweet side and is amazing. I could eat a whole box of it. It's very addicting and I like to come here from time to time. It's so good that I would even eat it cold. Overall, we've always had great experiences at Tripoli's and are guaranteed to come back in the near future. read more

The absolute worst cheesecake I have ever taken a bite of. Tastes like they put no cheese in it at all. If you want a piece of imitation 100% frosting that's called cheesecake then this is your place. I hope to be fully refunded and would love to see anyone in the company take a bite of this garbage and lie to my face. read more

I had a couple of slices of pepperoni pizza here, and it was terrible! When I ordered , they took a couple of squares off a large square pan that looked like it had been sitting there for hours, added some store bought pepperoni from a little bag, and warmed it up. It tasted the way it looked: stale. The pepperoni had no flavor. But the worst part was the sauce. It was incredibly sweet, practically inedible. They should stick to selling pastries and forget the pizza, appears to be nothing more than an afterthought. read more

Ordered a full sheet of plain pizza. The pizza was ready as promised. The wait staff was friendly and helpful.

Would rate 5 stars but slices are smaller and a little more under cooked than the ones at the beach, there original locations. Otherwise staff is friendly and the food is good. If you want to buy freezer packed pizza, taste like a close second and it's about 30 percent cheaper than the make to order pizza. read more

Very fustrated tonight! I drove to North Andover from Beverly tonight to pick up a gift certificate for a friend's birthday. Unfortunately, unless you call before 5 PM to order a gift certificate in advance you can't pick one up. So I left there to then drive to Seabrook to get the certificate I needed and some dinner. I don't think I will ever try to save time again and go to North Andover. It seems Seabrook is a fully functional store. It may take me longer to get here, but after that...I am good with supporting the store that was unable to provide. read more

I love Tripoli's, this was my first visit to the Andover location. They offer a gluten free version of their pizza which is fantastic. The sweet tomato sauce will leave you craving it for days. Always buy an extra slice. My only issue is that they sell prepackaged chain gluten free desserts in their case. While I understand that they are making an effort and they do not have a gf environment non local gf goods aren't very appealing. Would be worth looking into a partnership with a local gf bakery. read more

Amazing pizza! Different from most! The sauce is very sweet, which I love! Always great to get some pizza on the fly! They're super fast and super friendly. The pastries and cakes are delicious and the employees are always friendly. But the reason I am giving Tripoli 5 stars is due to our recent experience with ordering a birthday cake for our son's first birthday. I had some very specific ideas to fit in our theme and wanted it to be more than just a standard simple cake. I spoke to the cake designer on the phone and shared photos of some theme ideas with her. She was easy to work with and willing to talk through all of my ideas. In the end, she did and AMAZING job on the cake. I can't say how much I loved the cake. It exceeded all of my expectations and we will definitely order more cakes from her in the future! read more

Tripoli has some really good pizza! The sauce is sweeter so if you are wanting a classic pizza, this probably isn't the place for you. However, I still think it's great pizza for when you're in the mood for a sweeter sauce. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because you have to pay more for "extra" cheese, which is is really just a normal amount of cheese. If you don't get extra, it's like three strands of cheese on your pizza. It's still a decent price even with the extra cheese though, and the staff is friendly too. read more

Pizza is great, service is not. We love the pizza, so we deal with the poor service. Never have my order ready...always "20 minutes" and never ready on time. I even suggested to the manager that they just give 30 minutes as that's the general amount of time they take for a box. He scoffed, said "I said I was sorry." One word: yum. Huge selection of bakery goodies. Anything and everything seems to be for sale whether you want a traditional Italian treat or a Halloween gingerbread man. It was hard for my friend and I to select just a couple of things. We ended up getting the ricotta bar and a toffee caramel chocolate mini cake. Wow. So good! They also had a nice coffee selection but apparently only do hot coffee so I didn't try any. The service was quick and very friendly, and the prices were great. Not as good as the lawrence location as in they aren't as consistent with their products. Though there are two really cool things about this place, one it's open really late, and two i'm pretty sure they have toppings here you can't get at the other tripoli's. If the one in lawrence is open just go there. read more

Had never been here before, but was impressed by the delicious aromas when we walked through the door. I needed an emergency cake for a birthday party (planning had gone awry). Had to select what was available on the shelf (due to my poor planning) but we had a lot of choices. Got a marble cake with white frosting. Cake: moist, delicious, flavorful. Frosting: sugary and yummy (not greasy and flavorless which is always my lament about bakery cakes). Served way more people than we expected! Will definitely go back to try more goodies. Bread on the shelves, pizza in the ovens, pastries aplenty. So glad we found this place. read more

People either love or hate their sweet pizza sauce. Personally, I'm a fan of the extra cheese (provolone slice on top), with pepperoni. Their simple menu with limited options keeps the cost low. Their traditional Italian bakery is very good and I recommend the cannolis. read more

So Tripoli's might just be my favorite pizza, ever. It would probably be the only pizza I ever ate if life never placed me far out of range from any Tripoli's location. I do prefer this location over the Seabrook or Salisbury locations for being closer in proximity when I visit home, and service. We still call it "beach" pizza, even if North Andover is nowhere near the beach :) I find that the staff members here are always prompt without the feeling that they are stressed out or rushed. They are quite friendly as well. I still have yet to visit the original Lawrence location, or the one in Methuen, maybe because I am perfectly satisfied with this one. I personally prefer pizza with a sweeter sauce, but even my friends who opt for the opposite agree that Tripoli's is liiifffeee. Whether it's a slice or a box or the frozen bake-at-home option, if it's Tripoli's I will eat it up- even if someone else placed the order and they've opted for the extra provolone slices... regular amount of cheese for me, please. It's all still divine, even so. I also love their fresh baked cookies, and my friends are obsessed with their cannolis (I'm just not a cannoli girl; criminal, I've heard). One quality here that has saved my life over and over again is that they are open much later than typical bakeries, making it the perfect fuel before going out on the weekend, or after the fact if you're an early bird. During busy hours you might want to call ahead for pick-up as this place can get pretty packed. read more

I could not have been happier with the cake I got for my daughters bridal shower. I spoke with 2 different employees about the cake and both were extremely helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable. I was able to show them my " inspiration" cake , they listened carefully and gave helpful suggestions. The cake came out exactly as I hoped. It was suppose to feed 35-40 but could easily have fed 60. I got raspberry filling on one tier and lemon on the other. I especially liked the raspberry filling and buttercream frosting also delish. Best of all the cake was very reasonable price of $108.
