We did get a fried egg, though, as a paid option. The flavor was good - slightly spicy and slightly sweet (my husband thought it was too sweet). The crispy rice was good but too sweet for both of us. The Kimchi was delicious but not spicy at all. (We would have liked it even more if it were at least a little bit spicy.) It seemed like the dishes here have been tailored to accommodate American tastes. Bottom line: the food is good, but not quite what we expected from a restaurant known for authentic Korean cuisine.

However, after waiting... and waiting... and watching my entire family finish their meals, we were then told my order had been messed up because the restaurant got backed up and busy and would take another 10-15 minutes. At that point, nearly everyone was done eating, so I asked for my meal to be boxed to-go. We spoke with a manager, Chris, who apologized and told us the meal would be comped--which felt like an appropriate resolution given the situation. But after sitting there for almost TWO HOURS total, my husband and son went to follow up, only to be told that my order had been completely canceled. The reasoning? That they "weren't going to comp something and let you walk out with free food." That response was honestly shocking. I never asked for anything extra--just the meal I ordered, even if it had to be to-go at that point. Instead, I left without eating at all. The lack of communication, the excessive wait, and the way the situation was handled at the end completely ruined what was supposed to be a celebratory night. Really disappointing experience. We didn't even want to order the desserts we planned on ordering because at that point, they didn't deserve another dollar. The environment would've been enjoyable if we weren't focused on food missing and the lack of customer service.

The teriyaki bowl was pretty good though with various flavors of the sauces and food components. Unfortunately, as i left I used the men's room and while it was clean neither of the automatic soap squirt dispensers could be coaxed into operating with any amount of prestidigitation. A particularly disturbing experience as I had followed a kitchen crew member into the men's room who had apparently gone to to take a dump. So I guess the best he will be able to do is to maybe rinse his hands prior to returning to the kitchen??? DOUBLE YUCK. I did let the bar manager know on the way out and she did leave to go look into the soap issue. It appears to be a light, fun, and trendy place reminiscent of the Fridays restaurants but with an updated and current atmosphere inside. Probably a good place to bring a group gathering.

Upstairs featured seating near floor to ceiling windows which created a fun ambiance. There were a lot of wooden details in the decor that really made the place pop and feel more fun. The food was good. I really enjoyed the fish tacos and all the flavors in the toppings. It was also nice to see salmon tacos versus a fried white fish or tilapia. The house made queso is good goooood!! My daughter and I really enjoyed it. Their menu was so big between Asian and Mexican dishes it was a bit overwhelming. I think I would try another restaurant if in the area again but I lived close by I would probably come again.

The dumplings were really good but were served barely warm. I liked my breakfast burrito with pork chili verde I got off the Brunch menu, but I've had better too. I would still come back and explore a lot of the menu.
