Tried to install a garbage disposal yesterday that I bought at Home Depot. Virtually NO instructions included. Worked 3 1/2 hours trying to get it in and couldn't finish so I called Tritan. Ted has come to my rescue more than once in the last month. First I must say that finding a skilled tradesman is challenging and very tough to sort through. Appointment #1: I was quite impressed with Ted and was comfortable with him from the beginning - from the on-set he treated me like family! His experience and knowledge as a licensed plumber for over 40 years was quite impressive and was obvious in his working knowledge & skill. Generally, I'm a skeptical consumer & I read all of reviews really researching anyone I use, or refer to my clients. I was quite impressed that his service & his customer reviews were consistent and very positive. He arrived the first time to aid me with a slow drain at my house - he was timely and very professional. I knew that it needed to be rodded out, but not too sure to what extent which is what I conveyed when I made the appointment with him. I'm so fortunate that Ted had the equipment - because a simple rodding would not have done the trick here. The clog was rather extensive and spanned several feet into the main line under the house. Ted hydro-jetted the pipes and cleared a clog that took about four hours to open up. His persistence and diligence was totally impressive as my appointment was exceeding his commitment to me. The job was smelly, dirty and not one that I would wish on anyone; yet he remained professional, diligent even though clearing the clog was extremely challenging. Appointment #2: Ted is early and waiting 10 minutes prior to the appointment. He brought to my attention another issue under my sink in the appointment before, that a contractor had previously installed several pressure fittings, which I learned left me at risk of them blowing off; with the house being a rental - I felt it was necessary to have them changed them out. The contractor I used before didn't install a proper water-line rendering the ice-maker dry, he replaced the line with a new copper line and in no time the water-line was free flowing rendering the ice-maker operable. Within a few hours Ted fixed everything, and even had time to replace an aged - water spigot outside. Appointment #3 - On short notice on a emergency visit - Ted came back and installed a new water heater - which went out the day before Easter in the afternoon. I was so impressed with this, because even with short notice he came through and answered this phone and was at my house in an hour. You rarely see that diligence and customer focus in today's marketplace. With Tritan CUSTOMERS truly do COME FIRST! Thank you Ted- I'm so fortunate to have you in my family of contractors. We were looking for someone to fix our furnace and I was recommended to call ted. He came over the same day I called at about 7:30p.m bc we have a little boy and needed heat that night. Ted showed up and was extremely professional and polite. I explained to him the problem we were having, he ended up getting it fixed without any complications . While he was there I had mentioned to him that our water heater was getting old and asked him to give me a price for a new one. Seemed like a really great price but as someone trying to save a dollar I wanted to check prices. Next morning I called around and his price ended up being almost $200 cheaper. I've had a couple of jobs done by Tritan Heating in Plumbing. Last March, I was referred to this company when my furnace went out. Chad did a great job and a very competition price.àà Excellent response time and was able to change the furnace within a day. He recommended changing the AC when the weather got warmer and he promptly followed up for the installation. The other job was completed today, had a couple of water heaters die this weekend due to sediment build up. Chad responded right away and again gave a great price. After an initial appearance to collect the trade fee, this vendor was a no show! Our Home Warranty company had contracted this company, but they we're unable to get any response either via email or phone regarding the problem nor the solution to our air conditioning problem. The second company called was prompt and had the air working in less than an hour. If your looking for HVAC, keep looking! read more

I have horrible experience with Tritan Services for my heating system. I wish someone else had come in. This guy ruined the day. He came to my house, took the service fee first (within minutes of arrival as I am obligated to pay him for this call) and that shows how focused he was to get his service fee and move on. He was unlike other technicians who come and do the work before asking for service fee. Seems like he had made up his mind to leave without resolving the problem. His diagnosis of the problem was poor. It shows he did not have adequate knowledge about the problem analysis and resolution. He bragged that he has to do more things to find the problem and that will cost more. However, I am glad I did not pursue him. Couple days later, I had another expert come in and fix the issue within 15 minutes without replacing a single part. I see similar feedback about this guy placed by other people here so please be careful calling him for fixes. read more
