I sent an inquiry online and got a reply the next day from David and we schedule a morning appt I come in at 9am sharp, I was helped within a few minutes. Lance went over the 3 options they have. I went with the Wincos which had the best IR rejection. Granted it was a bit pricey at $380, the job was done in less than 1.5 hours. I was instructed not to open the windows for 3-5 days and if there were any bubbling, they could fix it. After 8 days, I still haven't opened the windows just to be on the safe and safer side. The Wincos comes with nationwide warranty which means I can take it to any Wincos installer. There is also a lifetime warranty through Tritek. The car was left slightly dirty with what appeared to be white powder After the 7th day, these are my findings: a defect in the rear tint and one bubble. I contacted David and he got me in on one day notice. The guys replaced it quickly (within 45 minutes). After 8 days there are still two bubbles that won't go away. Getting a bit annoyed so I took it back for the third time. Service was excellent from David. Overall excellent communication and decent service. I would take my future cars to Tritek and highly recommend them to my friends. read more

The $900 tint job. It all started with a car purchase in 2015. The vehicle, an Audi, did not have any tint. As a next step, I started the tint selection process and decided on Tritek in Dallas. I was able to secure an appointment the next day and brought my car in to be tinted. When I showed up, David showed me the different types of tint available and how they reacted to radiant heat. I made a selection (Ceramic film 35%) at a price of $292.28, the installers took the car back and the tint was installed. After the installers pulled the car around, I noticed the tint install quality was great - no bubbles and clean. I got in the vehicle, fired it up and noticed a new warning signal appeared on my dash indicating the center brake light was out. I did not think much of it as I have had light outages on previous Audi's in the past and drove home. Fast-forward a few months. I took the car to the dealer to complete annual maintenance and have the pesky center brake light indicator fixed. While at the dealer, I got the news that the center brake light assembly had been broken. I was asked by the tech if I had recently had tint installed and I replied yes. It now made sense to me why the brake light indicator came on immediately after the tint job. I ended up calling David to let him know what had happened and asked him if we could figure out a way to resolve the broken center taillight as a result of the tint job. He ended up telling me that it was not his problem and there was nothing he could do about it. I ended up thinking how crazy it is to spend close to $300 on tint and then have to resolve broken parts as a result of the process. It ended up costing $600 to fix the broken center taillight just so the vehicle would pass inspection. Total tint job and repair came in at over $900. Bottom line: While I am happy with the tint and how the product is holding up, I am disappointed with the negligence demonstrated during the install and the lack of ownership of the issue. For the lack of customer service, I am giving Tritek a low rating. Buyers beware -do not expect any resolution to post-install issues and question any warranty promised by the company. Find a tint house that will not break your car and if they do, one that will take ownership of the issue and fix it. read more

Finally ended up pulling the trigger on this place , I did my research for a couple months before summer came I was looking for a Window Tint spot . It was between a couple of spots in the Plano area and some in the Grapevine/Southlake area I did the google search and the yelp thing and it brought me here to TriTek and a few other shops. So I made a called to David @ Tritek and got a little surprised on the Price being a little Higher than I expected ...So I called around checking other places and I did find was looking for ... which was a cheaper price but what i didn't find was a shop that seem confidant to tint my 2013 ZR1 corvette. Most of them gave me the Run around on when they can do it and and how long it would take since they needed a Veteran Window Tinter since my Back window was a pain in the butt (due to curved shape) ,so I was a little unsure if I wanted a un-experienced shop to work on my $80,000 car. So I decided to go check out a spot in Plano,Tx . but didn't work out due to customer service issues. So finally as the summer was approaching fast I need to get it done ASAP I finally decided to come check out Tritek, which has to better one of the Best Experience I've had at a Car Shop in a long time it was V.I.P. treatment since the time I walked in there offering me a ice cold bottle of water. You hear the horror stories of going to tint shops and getting sub par work/materials or heaven forbid they damage your vehicle. I can honestly say that my experience at Tritek Tint was more than outstanding. It was off the charts. Upon arriving I was greeted with a pleasant hello and asked what I needed help with. I had a few questions regarding the appropriate tint based on my needs and vehicle type. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to completely explain the various products they offered including the pros and cons of each type. Additionally, I was fortunate to meet the owner of the shop (David) who went a step further and helped me pick the tint based on the various but subtle shades/colors offered. They vary from grays to blacks and as i learned, the right type and color of tint really makes your vehicle pop as he demonstrated it on my vehicle. Also, while I was there, I was fortunate to see the types of vehicles which get refereed there (high end Mercedes, BMW's, Lamborghini's, etc) and that further put me at ease that they are a trusted shop. If local area dealerships and performance shops continually send you high end vehicles then you have to be doing something right. Even though they were extremely busy when I arrived, they had me in an out in what I would consider a short amount of time. They offer an enclosed private heated/air conditioned lounge area where you can relax while they work on your vehicle. When the vehicle was done they asked I inspect it to ensure I was happy with the results. David also provided me with instructions on how to care for my tint along with the lifetime warranty. I highly recommend Tritek Tint for all of your tinting needs. The entire staff goes above and beyond what is expected. It has been 3 weeks since I had my tint done on my vehicle and there are zero issues with the tint, no bubbles, finger print marks, etc. Great job Tritek Tint, I appreciate your hard work. 4/12/14 I live in California but come to Dallas often on business. My last three new cars have been purchased @ Huffines in Plano. I had my 07 car tinted at Tritek in 2007. AWESOME. I had my '09 tinted at Tritek in 2009. AWESOME. And today I had my 2014 tinted at Tritek. Double AWESOME. These guys are 100% Professionals. Customer service is incredible. Just honest, sincere guys wanting to please the customer... unusual in this day and age. Now, for the quality of the product. Most cars in California that have tints bubble badly after about a year and usually need to be redone by two years. My '07 was seven years old when I traded it last week. ZERO bubbling and yes I live in an area of California where the summers are always in excess of 100 degrees. NEVER a problem with the Tritek tint... ten thumbs up, if I had ten thumbs!!! Lastly, these guys are the real deal. Don't stress over your tint. Just go to Tritek and call it a day. read more

David and his team delivered again. I have taken a few cars to him over the years and they always do an excellent job. This time it was my 16' CTS-V that I wanted tinted and to apply a clear protectant XPEL on the front. I had to leave out of town for a few days and asked if I could drop it off before I left and pick it up when I return. Of course he said no problem and when I got there he reminded me to check the miles and we walked the car to take note of any imperfections. He also said it would be kept inside the whole time. A few hours after I dropped it off I got a call from TriTek saying the front of the hood had a few rock chips and advised I get it fixed before they apply the XPEL because it would have not looked good and would not have laid flat. They could have just put it on and taken the extra few hundred bucks but instead let me know about it and said they could still do the front of the car no problem. David and his team did an excellent job, tint looks perfect and you really have a hard time finding the XPEL on the front of the car. read more
