Surprisingly this is no West Allis dive bar and it's pretty nice compared to the local competition was my first impression, hell even the mens room was probably the nicest for a West Allis local bar I thought with wood floors, clean looking and modern. It's the typical local bar with flat screens, games, music, taps etc etc. Josh was the bartender and he was very friendly and he did an outstanding job at being the face of the business. Surprisingly josh is one of the few bartenders in probably a 100 plus bars and restaurants who knew what a Gin Rickey is and as always anyone who knows how to make one with out asking how to I buy them a drink which he accepted. Overall it's a nice addition to the area and in now way like the old school dinosaur bars that line NationalAve.

I went on their website and was pleased to see there was an order online option available. This made it very convenient to order my food to go. I ordered a burger and cheese curds. It took me about 15 minutes to get there and by the time I got there and looked for street parking a few blocks away, my order was all ready for me. The burger was a good size. The meat was thick and juicy. I ordered a specialty burger that had peanut butter, which was unique and had a good sweet and salty contrast. Similarly, the cheese curds came with a spicy strawberry dipping sauce and I also got ranch with it. The curds were nice crispy. Overall a great takeout experience! We stopped in around 3 p.m. on a Sunday, and the atmosphere was unusually chaotic. The music was very loud--so loud that it was hard to hear the bartender and even carry on a conversation with my husband. There was also a group of rowdy patrons being obnoxious, whistling, and vaping indoors. I get that it's a bar, and a lively crowd is part of the vibe, but vaping inside should've been addressed. A simple reminder from staff to take it outside would have helped.
