I went with a large group of friends and we had no problem getting a seat. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with our questions and our many different orders. She was very attentive and made sure our glasses were always full. The atmosphere is casual and most people ordered to go. The food was good and portions are great. I've wanted to try this place, it's been open in Troy for a number of months. Here's the down low: Caprese salad - a nice size plate of soft mozzarella, sliced tomato & basil with olive oil and a nice basaltic vinegar. I liked this a lot! NY pizza with pepperoni, jalapeños, ricotta. (I also asked for basil but it wasn't on the pizza.) Sauce was flavorful & delicious. The extra ingredients were all a very good grade. As was the mozzarella, soft & stringy. Crust. It was thin and just ok, it looked to me like they are using the wrong flour. Also, the pizza was soggy in the middle. For the price, I should have had a pizza that came from Queens. But... FYI Heads up : alcoholic beverages are not yet available. It's a nice little place. They refurbish the old woodfired pizza place and set it up Italian. I got some sort of cheesy things in an orange sauce. My sweetie got chicken Marsala I think. Salads as an appetizer we're not bad. Calamari was OK, it's hard to get good calamari in Ohio. We were very quickly seated, very quickly served, and got the right drinks. The server, Brandy, was friendly and engaging. She helped us pick the right stuff. She was good at keeping the drinks filled. It's a decent date spot and we will very likely return again. read more

Stopped for lunch with my girlfriend. Good choice. Great service from a friendly waitress. Good choices on the lunch menu. I had Ziti with sausage which came with a side salad and my girlfriend had a Caprese Salad. Both were tasty and more enough to take leftovers home. About the only negative was the garlic bread which a bit over baked. All and all a good stop and another place for a lunch break. read more

We have ate there about 8 times. I get the lasagna and absolutely love it. The salad is great (I get ranch, my wife gets Italian and she can't get enough of it). If you have never been, you are missing out. You won't be disappointed. read more

Faith, was our server. I got the tour of Italy. My wife got the eggplant parmigiana. The tour of Italy has fettuccine Alfredo, chicken parmigiana and lasagna. The Alfredo was my favorite part of the dish. It was so creamy and rich. It's the best Alfredo I've ever had. The chicken was ok. The lasagna was just average nothing to write home about. I ordered the tiramisu, a dessert I love so much and I was highly insulted. The picture of the tiramisu looked so appetizing however, what came to me left me, appalled and angry. The slice they gave me was 2 inches by an inch tall, a far cry from the beautiful picture they had shown. I was charged $8.49 and they should be ashamed. I make desserts for a restaurant and we charge less and the slices are generous. What a terrible first impression! read more

10/10 recommend! We went on a Friday night, and although it was a little bit of a lengthy wait, it was 100% worth it! The waitress we had was super friendly and attentive. The food was DELICIOUS! We got the chicken fettuccine Alfredo which was VERY creamy, the taste of Italy, and the chicken Salerno. All of the dishes were *chefs kiss*. The dining area was decently sized, not super big, but you definitely don't feel like you're crammed. You also get to see what's going on in the kitchen, so that was a pretty cool thing! Don't be scared over the prices! It is expensive, but you take food home. We got lunch specials, salads were huge and you got 2 rolls with it. Good service, not very crowded for lunchtime, but that's a lot of food to try to eat and go back to work. We will definitely go back! read more

Everything needs to improve. Frozen food passed off as fresh. They make you wait for all your food instead of bring it out at once. They claim that their garlic bread is homemade. What a laugh. Pretty sure that it Is New York brand frozen garlic bread. read more

Garlic knots are something you have to stop to get! We had the stuffed shells and meatballs, both of which were good. We also had gnocchi with chicken. It was outstanding!! The chocolate dipped cannoli was the real thing, and large! Service was excellent! We not leave we said what we asked for, but the server was sensitive to the things we needed. She's a keeper! 5 STAR SERVICE AND FOOD. We had a party of 12. Every dish was terrific. Fettuccini Alfredo homemade sauce, spaghetti? Visited Bella Bistro last night and had a wonderful meal....lasagna, Chicken Parmesan and Fettuccine Alfredo. All were excellent, especially the fettuccine which tasted homemade. It was creamy, had a pleasant blend of cheese, hint of nutmeg and minimal garlic. The chicken parm and lasagna were very good...cheesy and nicely sauced. Quickly served...they came out and remained hot throughout the meal. The garlic rolls served with the meal were hot, fresh and tasty. The salad was a nice mix...chilled and crunchy. Maddie was our server, who was very attentive and took excellent care of us. She was very professional, her personality was pleasant and she always smiled. We'd be delighted to have her serve us again. I'd highly recommend giving Bella Bistro a try...very good, authentic Italian cuisine. read more

Finally, an Italian restaurant in Troy! We have eaten food from here twice already. We picked it up the first time and ate in the restaurant the second time. Food has been excellent. Portions are rather large and the leftovers were better the next day! The price is not cheap. But, if the food is good, I don't mind spending more. I think once it overcomes the pain of a new restaurant (seating and service), we will be back to try everything! read more

I totally dropped the ball to do this review on time as we were in there Saturday evening with our children. Our server asked us to submit a review as a new customer to the restaurant. Me, my husband and 3 children came in towards the end of the night around 7:15. We were greeted right away by Tasha, and she suggested appetizers as our first time there and maybe noticed the kids were grouchy and hungry. We got the bruschetta and mozzarella sticks. We added on a boneless chicken next time she came around as well. All of them were good and hot. Me and my husband ordered the cheese ravioli and a customized pizza. The pizza was made wrong, Tasha apologized, offered us a new one and that we could also keep the mistake. The mistake pizza was still awesome, the kids are just picky. We even decided to take home desserts as she offered us many choices. She was outgoing, informative and great with our kid's requests.
