Nice selection of beers, most are light or IPA, but they offer a few other varieties. They also have wine and cocktails. Food is mostly pizza, but they have small plates and salads as well. They even have a vegan pizza! Service is friendly, and there's plenty of inside seating, along with some outside seating. Parking is on the street or in a garage.

Had a great first time experience here! I work remote and was in town but looking for new breweries to hit up (I completed the Raleigh Ale Trail last yr but never made it here) and this spot was convenient to where I was. I went on a Wed right after they opened at 4pm and was greeted/seated super fast. Had a lil hightop in the corner to myself, so was able to work quietly. They provided the internet & pw so I had no issues connecting and a person even came around to ensure I was able to connect! I was starving, so I ordered the small Most Loyal pesto pizza and subbed the garlic kale for the roma tomatoes (highly recommend) and paired it with the Trophy Husband Amber (also highly recommend this duo) and OMG was my mouth happy! My pizza was perfectly cooked, the flavors were so collaborative & complementary and the beer (which was a classically made amber) was almost symbiotic in how well it amplified flavor notes in both the pizza/beer! Since they don't do flight boards, I appreciated that the super friendly, engaging, and accommodating staff let me "try before I buy" and I was able to sample & decide! Ended up doing a half pour of the BBA Heavyweight Champ as my dessert! I'm a sucker for thematic glassware, so I LUVED the glass art for this beer! Def stop in if you happen to be in dwntwn Raleigh!

This was a very cool place that served what I would describe artisanal pizza so I won't hold it to my typical crust/sauce rating standards. My coworker and stopped here for lunch one day and ordered two small pizzas and shared so we could try two. We got Most Outgoing and I can't remember the name of the other but it had pepperoni on it (pictured). Both pizza's were delicious, I'd say the pepperoni was the best but I think that might just be because it had bolder flavors. I'd order either one again. The two smalls were perfect for the two of us but the small might not be filling enough for the average person. Didn't get the chance to try the beer because - well it was working hours but I'll be back for date night eventually. The staff was wonderful. I felt a warm welcoming vibe, seems like a very cool place to hang out with friends. All their ingredients are locally sourced.

A Raleigh staple for its unique pizza and beer options. We went with friends and sat outside. I was worried because it was chilly but they have heaters in the ceilings so I was warm the entire time. I got the Cloud Surfer (beer) and Most Outgoing (pizza) - $15 for a 9" feels steep but it was filling. $50 for two beers and two 9" pizzas. Parking has changed - the lot behind their restaurant has reserved parking but there's a parking lot across the street so still easy.

My boyfriend and I like going to Trophy Brewing and getting their pizzas. They have unique combinations and the menu rotates. He usually finds a beer he likes and they have great outdoor seating.

Average spot with overpriced food. Came here with a group and the service was very slow. I ordered a small customized pizza due to dietary restrictions which came to ~$30. It wasn't clear that no toppings were included, just the sauce. Definitely wasn't worth the price and the service didn't improve the experience. Parking is easy so that is a plus.

Very cool place with a nice outdoor patio! I ordered a lemon rosemary cream potato arugula pizza and unfortunately my friend's chicken pesto honey pizza was yummier than mine! My pizza wasn't bad, just different. I highly recommend the chicken pesto honey pizza though. Our waiter was great and offered me a free substitution of a topping since I said no mushrooms. I asked for bacon and the kitchen forgot, but that was just a minor mistake and didn't affect the experience. Very cool place with a great menu!

We were making a pitstop in Raleigh on a two week road trip and knew we had to come back to the trophy room to have some great beer as well as check out the pizza. The last time we were here they had exceptionally good wings and we wanted to make sure it would happen again! . We are happy to report that the food was absolutely just delicious as we remembered when we were here back in June. My husband ordered the dry rub wings with the garlic sauce on the side. It was absolutely perfect! I opted for the indoor kid pizza, which was a nice mix of mozzarella with tomatoes and a little bit of sweetness. Really delicious pizza and I love that the personal size pizza, are just the perfect size for someone to be full but not feeling bloated. Also tried the Wildberry tart pop sour very fruit forward. Definitely reallyenjoyed that.

In full disclosure, I was here for a special event and not sit-down service. Our group had a little area off to ourselves. We could redeem drink tickets for a beer and they brought out pizzas for us. Parking was challenging since the lot right behind them is only open to restaurant patrons after a certain hour. I ended up parking on a nearby residential street. I will say the beer was good and the pizza was decent. By the time I left, the place was packed midweek and there was a line to get in. Pretty popular with the locals, I'd say.

We got the farmers market and margarita pizza and the pistachio cannoli. Food was good but the pizza was super overpriced for the portion size. Would not recommend.

There is certainly one thing better than finding a comfortable neighborhood patio to sit down for a drink, one that can serve a proper old fashioned. The old fashioned is one of the oldest cocktails in the book, with the first recipe being printed in 1895. It is a simple recipe made with simple ingredients, served over ice in an old-fashioned glass, also known as a lowball or rocks glass. Any attempted alterations to this simple recipe usually results in a good glass of SWILL. Trophy brewing can serve a quality brew within the temp range of 36 to 40 degrees, but they don't even serve and old fashioned over ice and nobody likes a warm cocktail on a 95 degree day. I was at least hoping for a delicious hummus appetizer and although they do serve a delicious garlic hummus, they do it no justice by serving it with the thick and dried out pita bread. I am a fan of the open aired patio, the wonderful service and excellent ambiance, but the food and drink doesn't seem to raise any flags at this point! Cheers!

I don't see Detroit style pizza on the menu, but it's in the photos. Is this something they only have certain days or upon request?

Being open later than most Raleigh bars makes Foundation one of the city's go-to late-night options, but that shouldn't overshadow what it really is........a great bar at any hour. Service started off a little hands-off since we ordered at the bar, but picked up toward the end when staff came by to check in. Drinks were high quality without being overpriced, and the vibe is relaxed--not at all pretentious. You can definitely come casual. Wow! I said I'd come back but I didn't realize it had been 8 years!…read more My husband Dan H and I had a great lunch with some friends today. We all shared an order of fries for the table, which were amazing. Then I got the grain bowl with shrimp, and everything was perfectly prepared and delicious. My husband enjoyed his biscuits and gravy with fried chicken- so tender and decedent. Our friends enjoyed their meal, too, and enjoyed the apple custard for dessert. The mocktails were also delicious- I loved one with hibiscus and ginger. So nice to have a bunch of mocktail options! The ambiance was just as great as it was 8 years ago- spacious and light. Seriously, if you can't find a pour you like here, you may just need water instead. Started with the biscuits topped with crackling and house-made preserves, and honestly, that combo alone made me question why I don't eat more biscuits in life. Sweet, salty, buttery chaos in the best way. For the main, I went with the pork chop and greens. The chop leaned a little overcooked for me personally, but the sauce helped bring things back together and added good flavor. The greens had a nice little kick of heat, but I kept waiting for that deep smoky ham hock flavor to show up like an old Southern grandma entering the kitchen... and it never quite arrived. Overall though? Still a solid meal, strong whiskey program, cool atmosphere, and definitely worth checking out if you're in Raleigh looking for a bourbon-forward dinner spot. Travelin_Broke approved with a slight side-eye from the greens.

I was actually a little nervous going in because certain Chinese dishes tend to upset my stomach, so I tried to avoid some of the heavier noodle and chicken dishes that normally do that to me. Honestly, I think that was the best decision because I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and felt completely fine afterwards. I started with the crab rangoons, which were perfectly creamy on the inside and crispy on the outside -- absolutely delicious. Then I tried the pork-filled bao buns, which was my first time ever having them, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed them too. Everyone else at our table seemed to really enjoy their food as well. I genuinely didn't hear a single complaint. We also ordered some drinks that were delicious, and both our server and the rest of the staff were absolutely fantastic and very welcoming throughout the night. The atmosphere and vibes inside are honestly one of the coolest parts of the experience. It somehow feels like a mix between a brewery, a florist, a bookstore, and a Chinese restaurant all at once. It's such an interesting and unique space that doesn't really feel like anywhere else. Overall, this was a great experience, and I would absolutely come back to try more items on the menu.

I stopped in just a they were opening on a Friday and thank goodness I showed up when I did, this place gets packed quick and you should book a reservation to be on the safe side. I was most excited about the duck egg rolls but ended up being my least favorite not because they were slightly on the dry side. Flavor was good, and the hoisin honey sauce really helped! The seafood dumplings were second best, stuffed full. The soup based was amazing and it also came with some bread for dipping in the leftover sauce. The pork and chive shumai were my favorite! A little bit bigger than bit sized but worth the mouth full! Absolutely would recommend. I'll 100% be back for more food. The bar side looked to be more casual, the dinning room was full of high tea attire so I did feel a little under dressed, thought it would be slightly more casual.
