Really great hidden gem in Winston Salem. I loved the overall vibe. Very cozy and perfect for drinks with friends or a date night. They also have a few comfortable sofas near the window that add to the overall warmth of the place. The Trophy Room has awesome selection of bourbon and whiskey so they will have everything you need. The bartender was lovely and provided great service throughout the night. I will definitely return for a night cap whenever I'm visiting home.

Fun spot! Hidden, hard to find, not on many search engines. The drink selections, bourbon options, and cocktails are top notch. Service and knowledge of drinks by all the bartenders we met were superb. Perfect hideaway in downtown Winston Salem, before or after dinner. They also have a membership club where you can keep your sought after bottles in a lit up locker surrounding the main bar area.

Very much a staple in Winston Salem. All type of drink options with lockers available for purchase as well for bottles. Bartenders are friendly. A low key bar with a speakeasy vibe.

The Trophy Room is nice chill bar. A great place to unwind on Friday after work. They have a fantastic collection of bourbons and other liquors. The bartender is very attentive and makes great drinks. You ah e to get the Trophy Room Smoked Old Fashioned! Enjoy!

I don't remember the exact name of this drink - Bourbon Blackberry something? Sour, yummy.

Reminiscent of a dark prohibition-era speakeasy, The Trophy Room is a whisky bar in downtown Winston-Salem serving up a variety of spirits in a cozy setting. They also provide a unique experience where you can purchase your own whisky locker - choose the spirits you'd like to purchase, buy the locker, choose your custom engraving for the name plate, and enjoy your own spirits every-time you stop in for a visit. This summer you can try this special cocktail which is a mix of dragonfruit, citrus and tequila. Have you had the chance to stop in yet?

The trophy room !! Where has this place been all my cocktail drinking days ??? Well right next to Dogwood if I'd bothered to try it !! Finally strolled in and tried it out. Instantly fell in love with the dark speakeasy vibe created here. Loved the sleek bar area. The high tops to the side if you want more private setting and the couches up front were cool and a nice place for a group. I loved our seats in the middle of the bar where all the action is. Watched the fabulous bartender Al make smoked old fashioned's all evening. I had the classic paper plane .. one of my favorite drinks in a place where I can see they would make them well. This did not disappoint. I didn't ask for a garnish as it came with none and I like a little esthetic look to my drinks ! Al obliged with a lemon twist. Perfect ! My friends cocktail was called Afternoon delight, gin, apricot, lemon and sage. She loved that too. Great pre dinner drinks. We went to dinner then came back for some espresso martinis. She makes them how you want, her recipe was fine except I wanted no syrup. But added a dash of gran marnier. Love that little taste of orange. Again no beans garnish so asked for something, and this time she gave us an orange twist. These again were some delicious drinks. They have an amazing amount of bourbons to choose from and that is their thing, but love they make everything else too. A must for bourbon drinkers. This will most definitely make it in my bar scene rotation for Winston. And yes I'll be asking to dress up my drink everytime !!! Loved this place!! And thank you Al!!

I absolutely love this place! The ambiance, the bartenders, the drinks...chef's kiss! I love the "fireplace" at the front and the chairs around it. It probably packs out here, but on Friday night during peak hours it wasn't terribly busy and we got a seat right at the bar. There are other smaller tables on the wall across from the bar, too. The Fire & Ice and Sugar Cookie (seasonal) are phenomenal. The Maple Old Fashioned was 10/10. We were bar hopping and has dinner reservations or we would have spent much more time here. Can't wait to go back!

Cozy, classy, and relaxing. Trophy Room is one of our favorite spots to grab drinks in Winston. It's a beautifully designed space, featuring neatly lit lockers and a fully stocked bar. The inside is dimly lit and moody, but the service is as friendly as can be. Lately I've been loving their seasonal chai cocktail, but you can't go wrong with anything here. It's also a great place to sample different liquors, especially bourbons, which you may not have in your bar at home. We found out recently that they are dog friendly, which is a huge plus. Right next door to Dogwood and sharing common ownership, everything you could ever want in a night out is right here.

This is a fun downtown Winston whisky (bourbon) bar. It is a small more intimate space with a door that attaches so you can wander back and forth in the beer bar next door called Dogwood Hops Bar. So whatever you are in the mood for they have your thirst covered! I was w a large group of people which filled up the place so it was perfect on a Thursday night. I can only imagine how busy it must be on a weekend so hard to accommodate a large group gathering. We had an amazing time! One of the specialty drinks are the Old Fashioned which was so smooth I highly recommend it. As I was sipping and chatting I looked over on the bar where there was a wood round plank and a glass domed customary cake lid. I wondered what it was for as later I saw the lid was filled w smoke and sitting on the wood plank! As my curiosity was peaked I watched as the bartender lit some kind of torch w a tube and it blew smoke which the Bar keep trapped under the glass lid. I asked the bartender what she was doing and why of course. She told me she uses it to make your Old Fàshioned drink smoky. Of course that was a First for me and I just HAD to try it! It was so much fun to see the experience and taste the results. My drink indeed had a smoky taste but mostly smoky on the rim of the glass. I took lots of pics and I will definitely be back next time I'm in the mood for my bourbon fix!

Love this place. The staff are always so friendly and truly know how to bartend. Other patrons were also very friendly and within minutes you feel like a regular, which I feel like I will be. The place is very clean, Bar too as well as the tables. A really class act place to go and relax.

Smoked old fashion (better than the bourbon cherry one on the menu!!!)

My husband was assaulted inside the bar, and the people responsible left before police arrived. To make matters worse, we were told the cameras only livestream and do not record, which was incredibly frustrating because it meant there was no recorded footage available to help identify the people involved. Everyone deserves to enjoy a night out without worrying about their safety. Based on our experience, I would choose a bar with better security measures and recorded surveillance instead.

My son and I were in Winston-Salem for the International Black Theatre Festival with Visit Winston,…read moreand when I learned we had free time for lunch, one recommendation immediately caught my attention. Between the rave reviews and the beautifully designed space, I knew this would be our stop. The first thing I noticed when we arrived was that the parking lot was on the smaller side, but any concern disappeared the moment we checked in. The hostess greeted us warmly, asked for my license plate so she could validate our parking, and had us seated almost immediately. It was such a thoughtful touch and set the tone for the experience. On the way to our table, I couldn't help but notice the inviting patio, perfect for lingering over lunch on a beautiful day. That said, I had reserved an indoor table, and I'm glad I did. The dining room is intimate, stylish, and effortlessly chic. It's the kind of restaurant that feels equally suited for a catch-up with friends as it does for a date night. The tables are close together, creating a lively atmosphere, so it's worth keeping that in mind if you prefer a little more privacy. Our server, Aundria, made an already wonderful experience even better. She was warm, attentive, and knew the menu inside and out. It was also refreshing to see the entire team working together so seamlessly, with everyone stepping in to help one another throughout the meal. I ordered the lobster roll with shoestring fries, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The lobster was fresh, buttery, and generously portioned, making it one of those dishes I'd happily order again. Before we left, I asked Aundria what she reaches for when she dines there. Without hesitation, she recommended the Korean Beef Bowl, which has already earned a spot on my list for my next visit. As if the experience couldn't have ended on a sweeter note, it started raining just as we were leaving. The hostess grabbed an umbrella and walked me to my car, a simple gesture that perfectly reflected the hospitality we experienced from start to finish. Great food is memorable, but genuine hospitality is what keeps me coming back. This restaurant delivered both, and it's officially earned a place on my list of Winston-Salem favorites.

A few people were playing card games at one table, others were hanging out near the pool table, and a handful were just vibing to the music at the bar. They have an extensive beer list and some fun New Orleans-style tropical cocktails. I was happy to see an Aperol Spritz on the menu--and it was made properly, so I ended up ordering a second one. It seemed like a few friends of the bartender came in and started picking the music, which shifted into a mix of dance tracks and rap. The vibe fizzled out a bit after that, so we decided to head out. Overall, it could be fun little spot, we will check back later. If you're in the area and miss Hoots Brewery, definitely check out Bar Nola. I can only imagine how great their Mardi Gras party must be or Super Bowl day. On the other end of the building, there's a huge open space with beautiful hardwood floors and a another bar. It looks like the kind of venue where you could easily host a party with a live band--maybe they even rent it out for weddings or holiday events, though I'm not sure if it's officially part of the bar. There's also a large outdoor area with a TV and an uncovered bar, but since it was cold last night, everyone stayed inside. It seems like you can take your drinks out into the alleyway between the two buildings. Definitely a beautiful area to be when the weather is nice.
