I wasn't able to take my puppy home right away and they held her for me until I could do so (about 2.5 weeks) I visited everyday and was always welcomed with open arms feeling apart of the family. During that time, they also gave me great tips on getting my puppy acclimated to the outside world. Being a new pet owner, I had lots of questions and they answered all of them with ease. I asked for the price of a very cute dog…read morethat I was looking at and I was put into a holding cell with the dog, after I was finished holding the dog I put the dog back but never did get an answer on how much the dog was. When further asking the woman for a price she said that she could only give me a price if I went back into the holding cell and held the dog. This is my second time going into this store... I HAD anticipated buying a dog, was just waiting to find the right one. However, after today's experience have decided not to support this company. Forcing me to hold your cute puppy will not make me buy him...

I went and picked her up, payed $100 for the adoption which included her spay, vaccines and they kindly supplied me with food for a few weeks. The gentleman with with black hair and glasses, he's wonderful. Im so upset I can't remember his name but he is very kind and knowledgeable on all the kittens inside. Lulu is very nice as well. I've seen multiple comments where people are bashing her attitude and saying things that just aren't true. I have met with and dealt with lulu on multiple occasions now and although she is very to the point and direct, she is far from rude. Her job is to adopt out helpless animals to good homes. If you get denied it isn't her fault. Dont try to adopt a puppy for your 90 year old grandma... it's just not a good fit you know? And if you just became an adult yesterday... yeah I wouldn't trust you with $5 bill let alone something with a heartbeat. Lulu is very considerate and loves the animals inside. She is direct and is a no nonsense type of person. If that isn't something you can respect, especially in this industry, then adopting anything EVER isnt really in your cards. My kitten was struggling and when I called up PAWS just to ask a simple question, Lulu helped me in making sure my kitten was taken care of, and for the coming weeks. This was absolutely without a doubt the best adoption experience I have ever had. Ill recommend this time and time again. GREAT people. GREAT atmosphere.

Initially I really loved the customer service here. Some younger girls were working and not only did my pet love them- but I did as well. They were warm, helpful and outgoing. Then something shifted - I walked in one day and the owner Kate was discussing prior employee with another customer. Bad mouthing them and discussing how the had moved to work for her "competition". Maybe I'm just too "community over competition" oriented but this experience put a horrible taste in the mouth. Everytime I've seen Kate the owner after she's just very off putting, she's condescending and rude. Not a friendly woman in any form. There are other local pet stores in stgeorge that you could patronize that undoubtedly treat their employees, past employees and customers with more kindness. Also, the owner is VERY money oriented. It doesn't really matter how much you've been there-there used to be free samples which they now charge for.
