Recently moved to the area and lucked up finding this place. Always quick and courteous. Good service and my nails always look nice. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. My girlfriend was treated to some awesome pampering and I was impressed with the service. She had an SNS dipping powder manicure, and she is very pleased with the quality. She also had an ageLOC facial spa treatment that noticeably improved her complexion, and then had eyelash extensions enhancing her already beautiful eyes. Tina, the new owner, is very sweet and offered complimentary wine, margaritas, and pina coladas. Highly recommended. read more

I've gone to Tropical Nail & Spa on 3 different occasions and they started out great, but the last time I was there with my fiance, it was pretty bad. The TVs were blaring, the nail techs were not friendly and were talking loudly on their phones or yelling to each other during the services - not very relaxing at all! My fiance's foot/leg massage was sub-par and my gel manicure started chipping only a few days after it was finished. For almost $200 and with all the options you have in the area, I'd recommend going somewhere else. read more

I loved the service I received at this nail salon. Christina and Stephanie were amazing. I went in as a walk-in and they did an outstanding job on my manicure and pedicure. Christina went the extra mile to do my pedicure and make my feet "presentable!" She took the time to make me comfortable while Stephanie did an amazing job on my nails. This nail place has bad service because I asked for a design. What I got looked nothing like the picture I showed them. after I came back and said that I didn't like my nails they were upset and talking crap and one lady said she told me they couldn't do that design, but they said that after the fact I got them done. read more

just when you get use to a good nail technician, they leave. The last few visits have been sub par. I've experienced cracking nails after a few days and horrible painting. Trust me, there is no reason for my nails not to last. When i went back in for repair, the lady said that i must have bumped them, Uh...that may explain one, but 4 nails? I told her, no, I don't even work hard enough to damage my nails...not that I don't work hard, but I am not doing construction-HA- For me, they are not worth the price. With all of the competition out there, this salon really needs to step up their game. read more

I have been coming to this salon for years and had never had a bad experience. However, last week when I arrived with my daughters, my sister and mom to have our nails done- I was blown away by the lack customer service I received. There were plenty of open chairs, but they sat us all in different stations- they asked me to sit in a pedicure chair to do my nails. It was uncomfortable and I was on the other side of the salon. My 2 daughters were asked to sit in the kid chairs for pedicure as well- even though they were only having their nails done. First off, I should've been seated by my party. Secondly, I should've been seated by my young daughters so I could keep an eye on them. Ok- so when the nail tech sat down, she told me 3 different times that she didn't have "much time for me because it's basic manicure" she always kept slapping my hand to hold still, which was incredibly difficult since I was sliding off of a pedicure lounge chair. THEN when I pointed out that she was leaving lines- she got frustrated and blamed my short nails on her sloppy work. She got flustered and removed the polish and was so rough because she was so frustrated, I had to ask her to please not go so hard. She was very clearly talking about me to several of the other nail techs and when I asked her to please wait until I'm gone to complain about me- she got embarrassed and started being nice. Too late.... I will never come back here again. read more

frankly, i found the experience to be very uncomfortable. i got the sense that my appointment was more of an annoyance and this is not how i expect to feel when i visit a spa. I left this appointment feeling mentally assaulted because i questioned the process being used for a gel fill. on my most recent visit: the receptionist never engaged me and checked me in - never uttered a word. the technician, i believe she is the owner, was quite frankly unpleasant. when i questioned how my nails were being attended to --- Tracey made me feel awkward when posing questions about the products and process used. the manicure has not held up. i recall that i got an email from this spa sometime over the winter where Tracey was excoriating a worker that left Tropical. I now get a sense as to why this worker may have left. Last year, i used this spa for full gel nails and fills and also had by brows done (ombre tatoo). I continued with the spa this summer expecting to be satisfied. not so much. you have lost a customer and i will not recommend this spa to anyone. read more

I had to give a star, but I wouldn't even do that if I didn't have too. I will NEVER go back to Tropical Nails! Service sucks. The manager was rude! I came in excited about getting a pedi, until it seemed like everyone working looked agitated. I signed in, picked my color and the lady came & got me. I tried to talk to her but she wasn't having it. The tech never once sparked conversation, instead talked and laughed with the other tech next to her. The only time she talked to me, was to show me what the color looked like, then finished. Said "All done" & put my belongings by the dryers. Then a second lady came & told me my total, which went up two $ from 2 wks ago... then 5 mins later a guy came over and said "you need to sign". I hate feeling rushed. So I signed, 0 tip and left. I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

Staff very friendly. Went with my wife got a pedicure along with her. Massage was great almost put me to sleep.

My nails look horrible, 40 dollars down the drain. The gentleman they had do my nails rushed through everything and clearly didn't know what he was doing. My nails are uneven and lumpy. When I asked for oval shape he cut my nails and then filed so much they are nubs which is not what I wanted at all and he didn't even make them oval like I asked. While I was there a lady came in not happy about her service and wanted it fixed and the lady that runs the salon rolled her eyes at her. Poor customer service and poor service all around. read more

This place deserve no STARs! I went in to get my nails and toes done and paid $100.00 and then a week later my big left toe started hurting very bad so I went back to Tropical Nail and informed them I had gotten my toes done a week ago and my toe was hurting. I ask FUNG (This is the name I was told by the manager Jenny), I ask her to remove the ingrown Toenail and FUNG told me I would have to get a pedicure before she could remove it! I told her NO I don't and all I want is the ingrown nail removed that her and LISA suppose to have removed in the first place! Then her and another worker began to speak and laugh then FUNG told me it will be $5 to remove the ingrown toenail. I told her okay and I informed her this is some B.S. that she was charging me again for something that should have been taken care of a week ago and I let her know I will NEVER get my nails done there again. These people are all about how they can beat you out of MONEY and not providing good services! DO NOT LET LISA OR FUNG WORK ON YOUR NAILS OR TOES AT THIS NAIL SHOP, YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINTED! I also called the manager JENNY and informed her that I came into her shop every 2 weeks to get my nails done and the way I was treated was some B.S and informed her I will never get my nails done at her shop again! It's too many other nail shops to deal with B.S. from one! Don't waste your money going to this nail shop! read more

I was excited to get my pedicure because for once in a LONG TIME I didn't have my kids with me. I was gladly welcomed and seated almost right away. After being told that I couldn't get the design I wanted I had to change it to a much simpler design. At least I was warned by the technician she couldn't do it. The people next to me seemed to have been here longer & seemed to be getting a petty good foot rub so I was excited for that. 30 minutes into my pedicure I was already getting a mediocre foot massage/rub/wiggling, i don't know ‍ what it was? This place deserves below one star. I went to this salon for a quick polish change, and the color of my nails messed up within one day!!! Then, I returned the next morning to get the polish fixed, and the staff made it seem as if they didn't remember me (and I had a receipt), and said that I got my nails done across the street at another salon! The staff is unprofessional, answering their personal phones during my service and doing their own nails in the process of getting my nails done! Needless to say, they will not be getting my service again. read more

They do not give itemize receipt. They over charge for services. I received a Nexgen Nails the tech did not follow proper technique, no fan drying was performed, no rinse and she used a shellac gel to finish. Do not go here!!!!! read more
