Stopped by the tropical smoothie cafe for an evening snack after a long day at work. It was a quick and pleasant experience. Firstly, let me start by saying that the dining area was incredibly clean which was a major plus. My date and I grabbed some smoothies and quickly set down to talk. They had a nice vibe going on with music. The music was a bit loud making it difficult to hear but good vibes nonetheless. I ordered the kiwi cruncher minus the yogurt and they got the paradise pointe. We both enjoyed our smoothies. This placing was bustling with lots of folks coming in and out! I have been wanting to come here since they opened, but for some reason never have. But finally, I decided it being Mother's Day. I wanted to go. So my son took me there for smoothies. It's cute inside, not a lot of tables, but you can also sit outside. They don't have a huge selection of smoothies, but what they do have , they all sound so good. I got the blimey limey and I thought it was delicious. My son also bought me the Peanut Butter, Banana, Granola , Pita Sandwich. It was definitely different, but I thought it was very good. I don't know just how healthy all these things are, but I could definitely live on food and drink like this instead of my usual stuff which is obviously not very good for you. The service was OK. The workers didn't seem all that enthused to be working and they were slow to take orders and slow making the orders, but quick to get up and talk to people they knew who came in the door, but at least they did their jobs and they did them well because like I said, my smoothie was amazing and so is my breakfast sandwich. As long as they get the job done in a reasonable amount of time is all I care about. The prices were definitely better than I thought they were going to be. I thought smoothies were gonna be so expensive that this would be a one time thing, but they were not that bad at least in my opinion. I definitely want to make this a regular place that I go to. I want to try most of the smoothie flavors. My son got the blueberry one. I forget what all was in it, but it started out good, but it turned into more of like a slush that you had to eat with a spoon and the blueberry flavor overpowered any other flavors that were in there so that one wasn't a great purchase for him. He wasn't happy with it. I tried it at the beginning, so it was good when it was still a drink. I definitely want to try some of their bowls and wraps and everything that's there. OK - this place is the real deal - absolutely delicious and so fresh! I was visiting from California and this place is WAY better than a lot of the smoothie places here. The place is super clean and plays great music - great customer service as well. I ordered the green dream yogurt the first time I went and it was incredible! Great portion and amazing taste - definitely want to get it again - the granola is phenomenal. Second time I went I ordered the watermelon mojito smoothie and the peanut butter banana crunch flatbread - both were super delicious and so filling! I DoorDash and every time I come in here to pick up an order, the woman working at the register (shoulder length dark brown hair-I get the impression she's a manager) has a major attitude problem and acts like she can't be bothered to even listen to the name I'm picking up for. Today when I gave her the name the first time, she rolled her eyes and ignored me as she took care of the next customer. She will glare over at me while I'm patiently standing there and then after she has waited on every other customer she will get all huffy and bark out "what are you picking up?!" Meanwhile the order has been sitting on the back shelf for as long as I've been standing there. So ridiculous. I worked in customer service for years and if I had treated customers like this I would have been fired on the spot. Guess times have changed. read more

I ordered a blueberry bliss minus banana as I am severely allergic to banana. I watched the girl make my smoothie and saw her add what I thought was banana. I asked her more than 3 times if she added banana. She was extremely rude and said she did not. She ignored me when I asked a 4th time. I took one taste and there is definitely banana. I am now dealing with the after effects of a severe food allergy. Will definitely be filing a complaint. i don't think the girl working will care.. she didn't seem to care about much. read more
