This was our third time at The Burning Buffalo and it did not disappoint. When you walk in, it's dark at dim like a speakeasy. Not many tables, but there is the bar you can sit at too. The beverage shown below was delicious, but the bottom of it reminded me of green juice that you mix with powder. The chicken sandwich was amazing... I do think it used to be bigger but it was still delicious. The chipotle sauce on it was great. Fresh cut fries? YES & they give you a lot of them. We were only there for about at hour so service was fast.

Kaya our bartender was super personable and a pleasure to have serve us. The food was absolutely delicious. The salad was so good I almost forgot I was eating a salad. Great vibes. Great experience

I wont put 3 stars because of lighting but it's too weirdly lit in this place. Dark in some spots and then too lit in others. Shadow Lounge, way prior to this place, was moody and comfy and gave you this sense of calm. This place is your typical gray, warm white lights and fake brick type place. It is now a loud, annoying bar that should be more comfy and cozy based on the small square footage. I won't return but the food looked good and the bartenders were pleasant. Just not my cup of tea for a fun night out.

First time here and will certainly be back. Sampled the special wings which were black and blue, interesting amount of heat with blue cheese crumbles accompanying them, 7.5/10. Crispy skin, just the right size with healthy heap of blue cheese for dipping. Also had the pork tacos which were a pleasant surprise since this isn't a Mexican join, very juicy and stuffed with fresh fixings. Bartender service was top notch and nice overall vibe to watch some sports at.

Waited to be seated, wasn't too packed in here but the Bills game hadn't started yet lol. We were handed menus and waters to start, our server was Serenity which she was very polite and full of enthusiasm and energy! She took our order right away and when the food came out she frequently checked up on us to make sure we were good! I had such a great experience and definitely look forward to coming back! The food was amazing and flavorful, the ambience was good and got loud over time due to the Bills game coming on lol!

Food was amazing! A girl also came around with free casamigos shots while we were waiting for our entrees. I ordered a Moscow mule with Tito's but they only offer stolis (just as good). Definitely coming back and would recommend to anyone looking for great burger and wings

Following our kickball game, my team and I decided on The Burning Buffalo to refuel ourselves. We saddled up at the bar and were waited on immediately. I ordered the club sandwich on a gluten free bun. Yes, they offer gluten free buns! That is always exciting. My boyfriend got the steak sandwich and enjoyed it. The food has always been good here. I always forget about this place, but when I come back to it, I always enjoy my time here. It is like Cheers, but without them knowing your name since I don't frequently come here, but it has the familiar and welcoming vibes. The one thing I hated was that the bartender put our bills together with another couple, which is confusing to figure out.

Ambience a bit cold but I did get there at open. the server we had was a delight (Serenity) and I was really pleased with my meal! Side ceaser with avocado and a cup of the soup of the day, which was roasted red pepper. My friend had the munster burger with fries and a spiced beer. All great! No complaints. If you're hungry, this place will curb your appetite quite comfortably.

Went for brunch on Sunday. The place was not crowded when we first arrived at 11, but it definitely filled up while we ate. I ordered the breakfast burrito and couldn't believe how huge it was when it came out! The ingredients were plentiful, my only complaint is that it could have been spread out better in the burrito. It seemed like there was so much meat (is there ever too much?) on the one side, but the other end hardly had any. Same thing with the egg. A few people ordered the brunch burger which also looked fantastic; it came with a ton of fresh fries. We will definitely be back here! The drink menu also had a lot of options. The guava Bellini was a fav. Thanks to our kind waitress for stopping to take our photo.

Needed a late night spot with good happy hour and ended up here luckily! Our waitress was super sweet and she kept the drinks flowing which was what we needed! The margaritas are spot on and the vodka and cranberry is a great way to start off the night lol. I enjoyed the tacos, didn't really like the shells but added some pick to the mix and it wasn't half bad. My gf enjoyed the Cuban sandwich and fries and I think what made tonight even better was that it wasn't too crowded and we could pretty much sit anywhere we wanted and not be bothered. Loved it! Had only been here for brunch before and now I have another great experience to talk about. Next time dinner! Lol

I know that this restaurant has a wild game burger. Has anyone seen kangaroo yet here?

We have had kangaroo in the past and we will have it again but unfortunately I am unable to say exactly when.

Hubs and I came for dinner with four friends a couple weeks back and though it was a splurge, I have no regrets. Everything I had was delicious. We had: Focaccia Roasted Carrots Wagyu strip Rhubarb Panna Cotta Pineapple Pavlova I also had a Freakin' Beacon mocktail. Everything was SO GOOD. That focaccia was like no other focaccia I'd ever had but was delicious; crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. The steak (med rare) was perfect to me, hubs thought it was a tiny bit too rare for him. It was super tender and easy to eat, perfect char. I couldn't eat the chimmichurri it came with as it has Thai basil (not usual in chimmichurri, but I'm allergic, and the server was very good about asking about allergies) but honestly, it didn't need it. That steak stood on its own. Both desserts were delicious, but to my surprise I think the pavlova was even better than the panna cotta (and I love panna cotta). The portions were very generous and I was pretty stuffed by the time I got home. Our portion of the bill was over $200 (hubs also had some cocktails and the steak alone was almost $90) but it was so good, we'll want to come back when we're in town for sure.

Some friends, my husband and I came here for dinner a couple weeks back when visiting the area, and…read morefound both hits and misses. The service was very good and it's a cute spot that I'd be willing to come back to. The best thing we had BY FAR were the beef croquettes. These were perfect, and I could have made a meal out of them. They had a tender birria like shredded meat inside with some cheese and probably some potato, I can't even remember but I do remember that everyone loved these. We also ordered asparagus, the Korean Fried Chicken, the shrimp with potatoes (all small plates) and one of my friends ordered the duck entree. My husband and friends had cocktails and mocktails; I didn't order one because they said they had nothing that was sweet. Incidental pet peeve: Saying "all our cocktails are balanced". I get it, you want to brag. But, some of us like things that are sweet, or as in the case of one of my friends, decidedly NOT sweet. If all of your cocktails are balanced the same way, it gives little useful info on what to order. I will respond to this by NOT ordering and sticking to tap water. I'd prefer it if you have a little something sweet and a little something not-sweet on the menu for those of us who don't actually want "perfectly balanced". That said, I did have a sip of the cocktails the others ordered. To my surprise, I liked the Broken Garden Tools. Though it wasn't particularly sweet it was also not super sour/tart and it was refreshing. I *could* have ordered that one, but I never would have known it from the description. I didn't like any of the others I tasted, but I can't remember what those were. Since I don't like whisky and I prefer sweet drinks, don't take this to mean that they don't have good drinks - the others enjoyed theirs, they just weren't to MY taste. Of the other dishes, I liked the cabbage that was on my friend's duck plate (I didn't try the duck). The asparagus was fine. The shrimp and potatoes was ok but not as good as I'd hoped for. And honestly, I didn't love the KFC. It didn't seem to be twice-fried and super crispy like KFC should be, and the sauce to me wasn't balanced between the sweet and spicy flavors I prefer. However, my husband liked it very well. The only other thing I'd caution is to double check ingredients. There was a dish ordered (I can't remember which now, some kind of bread maybe, but not listed as a bruschetta) that said it contained rosemary among other things but did not list basil. We saw no rosemary at all, but a lot of basil, which I can't eat. So I didn't have any. The others shared it. I would have been more disappointed had it been my selection. My friend noted that the server did not ask us about any food allergies, which, if your menu doesn't accurately list its contents, is problematic. Fortunately I know what basil looks like so no harm done. All in all, I would return, get lots of croquettes, order a Broken Garden Tools, and maybe try some other things we didn't get to. But I'd double check all the ingredients.

Great service from Renee who was very accommodating, patient and knowledgeable. Upon walking in the restaurant is intimate, prohibition era like, romantic, yet homey vibes. The food was VERY good. Started with one of the BEST mushroom soups I've ever had. Mushrooms were thick cut, broth was very tasty ..a cup of love that think could win over a non mushroom eater. I had the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and carrots and surprisingly the star of the show was the carrots. The mains, although good didn't leave me wondering how in the world did they made them like the carrots did. They were sweet and savory, cooked perfectly with great texture and taste. My guests had the Salmon burger and another, the Lamb. Tasted my sister's salmon burger and it was amazing. I'll be coming back to have my own. Salmon was meaty, seasoned well, on a soft brioche bun. I also don't know what the sauce was they made to go with it but it added the perfect compliment. My brother's lamb was TENDER, cooked perfectly and seasoned to perfection. I'll be back for that too when they add a couple more chops to the plate. It was delicious, but the lamb chops were tiny and there were only four. THE DESSERT::: soooo good... definitely appreciated the HOMEMADE taste of the chocolate tart. Three people shared it and with the first bite I could tell that was a mistake. Next time I'll get my own for sure. Pro's- Quality food, great service, decent pricing Con's- Size of Lamb and Hibiscus Spritzer was definitely missing something.

As the group arrived, some kind people moved down so we had more seats. We asked for a 6 top and were happy to wait a bit. The place filled up. I noticed a number of neighborhood residents who had walked or biked over. We were sat and brought fresh drinks. I never mind a wait on a busy night as long as the server checks in and keeps up on the drinks. We did wait about an hour which is a little much when your glass is empty. I'd give 5 stars but, we were left looking for either a drink or dinner. When we were served, everything was great. I had a standard fish fry, fries & slaw. The fish was delicious and the sides were good. The fish burrito was a nice alternative and the vegetarian in our group enjoyed the impossible burger. In the past, I've had the lamb melt and it's definitely worth mentioning. As it's located right across from the zoo, parking can be tricky but, it's worth the effort.
