Even though I was extremely uncomfortable. The irony is they have a sign requiring customers wear masks. After we ordered there were several people after us. They all started getting their orders one by one and we kept waiting. They had blenders full of fruit and juice sitting there melting away. I kept thinking ours would be next. When I finally asked, they said that my smoothie takes longer to blend. Pretty ridiculous. I asked for my money back and one of the lady's doing the blending very lazily showed me a container with a melted smoothie and said it was ready if I wanted to wait for her to pour it In a cup. At the time, this location was only accepting orders online or over the phone; they had a table where customers would pick up their drinks upon walking in. However, I opted for contactless curbside delivery. In both of my experiences, my wait exceeded the estimated time on my order, and I had to call the location to check-up on the order. They have so many different smoothies and styles. You can get protein rich or traditional style smoothies. There really is something for everyone here. Stopped in for lunch this week. This was my second time at a Tropical Smoothie Cafe so I was familiar with the menu but was my first time at this location. My lower review is mainly for the service. Upon walking in I went to the counter to order, there were about 5 people behind the counter/kitchen area talking not paying much attention to me. I was looking right at them clearly signifying I was done making a selection with the menu but it took a good while for anyone to actually come take my order. Someone finally came over to take my order, I said it was for here, yet when I got my food it was still in a to go bag and didn't include a side. Had I never been to a Tropical Smoothie Cafe I would have assumed I didn't get anything with it since you have it grab it on your own by the register. After getting my food and smoothie I went back up to the counter to grab my bag of chips. I went with the Thai wrap and peach silk smoothie. Both came to about $12 with a side of chips. It's a little pricey, but the smoothies are a good size, so it's worth it. I used to really enjoy Tropical Smoothie years ago and was in the area so decided to try a quick lunch. I placed an online order for pick up for a smoothie and wrap combo. I ordered the hummus veggie wrap and an island green smoothie. Both were very bland. I didn't see or taste the smashed avocado in the veggie wrap which was disappointing. The island green smoothie just tasted like water, and this used to be my favorite smoothie to purchase. I would suggest they have a fridge to store pickup smoothies, similar to what smoothie king does, instead of having it sit in a cubby near the door/windows. read more

Also they always have their phone on Do Not Disturb... even though it's empty and not busy. They leave you on hold for 20 minutes while they fool around. You just feel like you're eating healthy here (even when slurping down what I'm sure is a 500 calorie fruit smoothie). I highly recommend the Cali Chicken Club flatbread. Tender warm chicken, with avocado, tomato, lettuce and a yummy basil garlic mayo all wrapped up in a warm flatbread. Really good. Their chicken salad sandwich and the turkey apple Dijon sandwich are both flavorful winners too. Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a popular place, so the wait to order and the wait for your food and/or smoothie can be long. Know that before you go if you're on a strict timeline. Came to this location for the first time on a Saturday. It was packed and the line was out the door. I'm only giving this location 2 stars because my smoothie is good, however the flatbread I received was cold. And I was in disbelief when I saw the size of there kale slaw side. It was literally a condiment container . I had gotten this order at a different location and the side was not this small. Also in my flat bread the lettuce was stale, definitely nothing was fresh at this location. I was disappointed in my food. Also, there was a customer inside waiting for there food without a mask. The door stated they needed to wear one however this female didn't, and she was still served by the staff working there. There was also more then 15 people inside that small area at one point. Very unsafe. This is the last time my fiancé and I will be supporting these chains. We are sticking to mom and pop restaurants because it seems like the chains are losing quality in there food and service. The salads and smoothies here are great, but unfortunately for me, tonight my girlfriend bought me their new spinach salad. The salad was delicious, so good it didn't even need dressing. Towards the end Of finishing my salad I took a frock full of greens with bacon. As I was chewing I felt something hard, which I thought was stale bacon (I love stale crispy bacon) but it actually ended up being a zip tie which was half down my throats until I realized I was choking. I don't care if I find a hair in my food really, it doesn't bother me. What does bother me is swallowing something that could have really messed me up. I tried. I really tried. We gave them chance after chance. The fact of the matter is their staff is not enough to keep up with the amount of orders they get. The place is filthy, floors disgusting and a thick layer of dust on top of the shelves they put online orders on. They cut corners, repeatedly shorting us extras we paid for. And today I waited 30 minutes for my food. When I asked where my food was, as my smoothies were melting, I was told that they can't control the order times for online orders. But my order was done! I had along day at work end up stop to this location for something to eat , I order my food and and took a seat knowing that it wouldn't take long . I waited 10 mins for my smoothies & 25 minutes for my sandwiches . An employee bought my smoothie. 10 mins later I notice the customer that order after me got food before me ... so I walked up to the counter and ask why is my order taking so long she ask me what did I order I told her chipotle chicken club & chicken bacon ranch with two bag of chip . The customer before me walk out with my order.
