Every time, it don't matter if you go to the drive thru or order inside, the wait is terribly long. It don't matter if they have zero customers, if you're the only customer, or 3 customers ahead of you. You can be the only person ordering and the wait is still close to 20-30 minutes until you have the order in hand and out the store. Even if you're just ordering one simple strawberry and banana smoothie. The wait is still going to be between 15-30 minutes. I don't fully understand the logic behind such a long wait in a fully staffed place. Please stop blaming it on the pandemic. It's been like this at all TS all around town for YEARS. Went through the drive thru at the St.Rose location, no other cars. I ordered a smoothie, paid, then waited over 15 minutes to get my drink. I was handed the drink and the windowed closed quicker than I could announce it was the wrong drink. I waited another 7 minutes (now with two other cars behind me) to be acknowledged when I notified the same young lady I had been given the wrong drink. She took the drink back, and then I waited an additional 15 minutes to get my correct drink back without an apology, or a word from the employee. I said thank you and she responded with a "mmmhmmmm". I love the smoothies, but the disregard to my time, my lunch time which was spent I the drive thru with rude service, is unacceptable. I called the number on file four times, no answer. I have had enough. I finally had to write a review. We go to this location many, many, many times. I would say that 9 out of 10 times, they either screw the order up or don't have something in stock. We have tried and tried to be patient. But we are genuinly fed up with this place. We have given it so many chances. I don't know if this is bad management at this point, but nobody should run a business like this. Whether it is ordering online and then finding out they don't have something, not making the smoothie or food correctly, or messing up the order. This is plainly unacceptable. Again, we have come here many, many, many times, hoping things would change. And they just haven't. I recently drove through and got a Smoothie; not the first time, but the first time in a long time. I quit coming here due to their refusal to accept cash. I have cards but I don't like to create additional accounting effort or paperwork for myself. I like to pay cash whenever I can. So I quit coming here. But I had gone to the Tropical Smoothie on Green Valley Parkway earlier in the week and they had gone back to a "cash is okay" policy and explained that the "no cash" policy was to protect their employees (from dirty money) during the pandemic. That made me hopeful that this location might have also reverted to the acceptance of cash. Not so. No cash, card only. So I'm out. Other problems with this particular TS Cafe: For me, it is on the wrong side of St. Rose Parkway. If I want to go there from my house, I have to make a U-turn on St. Rose Parkway. Then, when I leave, I have to wait for four or five lanes of traffic to clear so that I can get into the far left lane. Worse, the parking lot itself is very challenging. Very high-risk of a minor fender-bender. Twice while trying to leave, cars exiting other drive-through lanes couldn't possibly see me; I had to be on the look-out for them. Finding the drive-through isn't easy, either. TSC is at one end of a building; there are a few other businesses; and then their drive-through entrance is at the far end of the building, next to some other business. The first time I tried to find their drive-through, I missed it completely. It's not well-marked and its location is counter-intuitive. I'll just go to the one on Eastern at Horizon Ridge or the one on Green Valley Parkway. I sure do miss the one that used to be on Bicentennial. read more

I've went to this location 3 times in the last 2 months and received awful service in drive thru and in store. Fair to say I'll never log to another Tropical Smoothie again. The staff seems to genuinely hate their jobs and you can see it in the long wait times, incorrect orders, and bad attitudes. I get it, the job probably doesn't pay well and the majority of applicants are 16-18 year olds but that's no excuse. Ie. A Starbucks has a similar workforce and easily has 5-10x the traffic of this place and they can still greet their gd customers. Ownership/management also seems to not care either as evidenced by the long history of poor reviews and bot responses from the business manager. No, sir. Nobody wants to waste their time going to your website to tell you about their experience. We don't believe that anything will change. Horrible customer service. I went today to pick up an online order and the girl at the window did not even try to smile, very unhappy handed me my order and closed the window. I waited thinking maybe my order was not yet complete so when she opened it again I asked if my order was complete and she said yes without any emotion. I am absolutely fed up with this location and their complete incompetence when it comes to fulfilling online delivery orders. Almost every time I place an order, it is incorrect in some way. We ALWAYS end up with half or less than half the order. They blame it on the delivery drivers and never take responsibility for their lack of communication to these drivers. If they make the smoothie correct, it is actually a good product. However, all of these Tropical Smoothies locations have teens running it without any Supervisor. That is the problem with all of these locations. The smoothies are poorly made and the customer service is horrid. They treat you like they are being bothered by taking their order. The black teen who was wearing his pants down past his buttocks was disgusting! He kept pulling up his pants and then he would make food or a smoothie. Then his pants would fall down again. I saw him pull up his pants at least five times from having his underwear totally exposed. How is this sanitary? NOTE: This review is over a month old. So a few things. First drive through is a bit confusing, you have to drive up to the window to order. Sitting in the drive through as we speak. I have NEVER experienced something so unprofessional. When first rolling up to the call box menu to order, we received no acknowledgement. We continued to say "hello -- hello -- are you open?" After 10 minutes, I hear different tracks of music coming through the speaker as if the employee was watching TikToks. We then had to repeat our order because she didn't get any of it the first time (we only were getting 2 smoothies). Definitely did not sound like she was sober nor was she friendly to begin with. There was literally one car ahead of ours and we had been waiting a total of 30 minutes at this point. I saw one employee come out to collect money from the car in front WITH GLOVES ON -- which means the point of gloves was useless since I'm sure she's touching the food with the same pair. We had waited another 20 minutes then called into the store to see if they were okay -- they said they were okay, but she's in the middle of training so she had to go. Like??? How about have the trainee watch what's going on and put the priority of the customer first. Walked in was not greeted for 5 min, the girl hid from us after she said hi, waited another 7 min for the guy to take our order who had his friends in there and was eating himself. The third person who makes the food was at another restaurant next door. After I waited they actually took a drive thru customer over us standing there. They then took our order and tension was pretty thick among all 5 of us. Not a pleasant experience and customer service needs to be addressed . Specifically we have been here multiple times and maybe the joke is on us for continuing to return, but for instance today the latest mess up was when we ordered a chipotle chicken flatbread and upon arriving back home and preparing to dig in, there was no chicken on the flatbread at all! Agreed with previous post about a lazy guy 1000%. A young white guy around 3 pm on Friday didn't even TRY to behave like he was trying to work.. barely talked through the speaker and when I asked to repeat my order just ignored me. He could hear me just fine but was behaving like he hated his job and everything around him, he didn't even TRY to speak up knowing that nobody can hear him. I got to the point when all I wanted was to talk to the manager. I drove up to the window and asked for the manager. He said that the manager is not there and when I asked for the manager's name, he said it was "Melissa". Well, he probably lied but the manager should REALLY rethink who she/ he is hiring because it DEFINITELY drives your business away. I drove off without buying anything. He clearly did NOT want to be there and I would never trust somebody like that to make my food and drinks. This is THEE worst experience I've ever had. All the 1 star reviews are there for a reason. Pull in to the drive thru and they tell me to wait... OK. 15 minutes later I decide to back out and go inside. There's 0 cars in the drive thru and 0 customers inside... but 3 "employees". What are they doing you ask? On their phones eating Domino's. I ask them if they were going to have me sitting in the drive thru all night and their response was "we didn't know you were there!". So a ghost has the headset now? I then ask why would I just randomly walk in and ask that question. Like who does that? Anyway, the one with the headset on that told me to wait thought it was funny. I ask for a managers number "she's not gonna answer you, she doesn't even answer for us". OK, is there a manager that's there in the daytime? "It's Maria but she's never here". Now the girl with the headset starts yelling "we can make it now!!" Like screaming it. I asked who she's screaming at and she does that teenage thing "oh I was screaming at the machine".
