Unfortunately this location is going through its teething troubles. First of all it took way too long to get a server to check with us after sitting down. There were plenty of staff available and in fact I noted about five or six people standing at the end of the kitchen on their phones while the chef was busting his butt to get orders out. I ordered a simple double bacon cheeseburger which, at any other restaurant in the country, means you get a double patty. The burger came out greasy and tiny and with only one patty. I complained to the server who tried to tell me that it was just smashed down. I insisted on getting two patties and she took the plate back to get the requested add. She also added a charge for the patty. This place may someday be worth a visit but they need to get a lot of problems fixed. Very disappointed.

It is a free event today handing out free breakfast food for everyone. Met some official looking staff as well as city officials. Even the Popo showed up for breakfast. Enjoyed seeing them take part in this opening. An important part of a city's growth and getting to meet everyone. It's was crowded and very loud being a festive event. Waffle House has a clean atmosphere. The aromatic smell of coffee and frying food as you come in. It is Manor coming in through those front doors greeting the day. A wonderful sight and experience!

Only two complaints: the Walmart lighting- bright white overhead fluorescents really interfere with the experience. And for some reason the music is extremely loud. To the point we considered just leaving but when we mentioned our discomfort the server immediately turned it down to a much more appropriate level. Swap out the fluorescents for some incandescent lights and it'll be a perfect spot! Another big plus is they are open late on weekends.

It should be mentioned, that the noise level here is fairly high with all the patrons and children. They do have outdoor seating, including both an inside and outside breakfast bar. The first bar of measurement is the coffee. We were served a dark roast, which is somewhat comparable to what you get at Starbucks, but I'm not a fan of those creamer pods 3*. The good news is that they bring you an endless pot of coffee. We ordered the blueberry lemon cornbread in hopes that it come out first, but they forgot it. When it arrived, it was topped with a lemon custard. I'd recommend skipping the pancake and go with this choice, although it did remind me of that Jiffy cornbread with freeze dried blueberries. We chose the Athlete and the trifecta. Those choices were basically good and some yelpers draw comparisons to Denny's, but we thought it was a little better. For the money, it's worth a return visit. Service was also attentive. You can pay with a QR code on your receipt or visit the checkout station where the tip screen starts at 18%. Some additional points of interest is the fact that you will have to ask for water, I was pleased to see that they do offer real maple syrup for an additional charge, no credit card fee and there is ample parking. I ordered the chimichuri steak and eggs hash, strawberry tes leches french toast, and the pineapple express. I got my food sooner than I expected. I love how spacious the restaurant is compared to other locations I've been to. The bathroom was clean as well. Pineapple express- This drink was tasty. I would definitely get it again. I was able to taste hints of everything without the pineapple taste being masked. Chimichuri steak and eggs hash- The star of the show and the twinkle in my eye. The steak was cooked perfectly . The dish was seasoned well. The potatoes melted into my mouth. All the ingredients went together perfectly! Strawberry tres leches french toast - I was eating bite after bite with bliss. Every bite was good. Suddenly I looked down and saw an object that in my French toast. It was a top from the whipped cream (I'm assuming) . It was definitely a plastic top. I did let the waitress know. My dish was remade. The manager made it right and I didn't have to pay for it.!! Overall my experience here was good and my food was good. Even with the mishap, it was no argument. It was a simple apology and correction (love it) I'll be back
