Tried this yesterday with my wife for breakfast, and was not disappointed. I went with the avacolada and here I am again today enjoying another one. Avocado smoothie? Who would have thought? Open 24/7 and has a drive thru which is convenient but you will wait for it, much faster service if you walk in. I love the smoothies here and it's not a bad place to grab a sandwich although some are better than others. I come here almost every morning for my breakfast smoothie. Staff is always friendly and the smoothies and always good. They are much cheaper then other smoothie places and you get more. I personally think they taste better as well. They also allow you to change up the ingredients in the smoothies to you liking. read more

I came on my lunch break and was in the drive-thru line for 40 minutes (no joke, I counted). I finally got my strawberry limeade and you could barely taste the strawberry and not the lime AT ALL. I've never written a bad review about any business but this was warranted. Used to go here once a week and the peanut paradise smoothie was my favorite after a work out. This place has gone down hill over the last year though. Have been a customer here for awhile now because it's a great healthy drive thru. However, the customer service not so good. Today was the final straw. Waited to order at the board, with no one ahead of me for 5 minutes, when I got to the window, the girl asked me for my order again because the guy didn't even put it in, then handed her my card and coupon. Waited another 10 minutes, drove off with my order to find out they didn't even give me everything and I didn't get a receipt. Called and the girl said I would have to come back for them to refund my card and re-ring me up for the $2 difference. So basically I'm out $40 for a few days because they can't get their stuff in order. Done being a customer there! As the recent reviews have stated it really is a hit or miss. I have noticed a trend since I have been a frequent visitor -- the service is great during the day but as soon as the evening hits I advise you to enter at your own risk. The place closes it's door around 7, but the drive thru remains open 24/7. Try visiting the place when you can still walk in, that way you know what kind of service you will be getting here. The absolute WORST LOCATION. I Love tropical smoothie!!! I've been to multiple locations in Arizona and they are outstanding! This one however, is the ugly stepchild of them. Since they closed the TSC at the San tan mall this is the closest location to me and every time, I KID YOU NOT they are "out" or something is "broken". Here are a few examples of REAL encounters: out of straws(on more than one occasion), out of chips, out of cups(like what?- yes smoothie cups), out of lids(yes I was handed a smoothie without a lid in the drive thru) can't make a green smoothie today- out of ingredients, can't take cards for payment- machine broken, etc. This location is also where I got food poisoning from!! Not to mention you better plan on waiting at least 30min in the drive thru for 3 smoothies. This location is a disaster and whoever is in charge of ordering/ keeping stock should be fired. They need a major clean up of management. No wonder they only have 2 stars and over 100 reviews... AND WHO RUNS OUT OF STRAWS AT A SMOOTHIE PLACE?!?!!!! read more

I am not one to go out of my way to be negative, but after 4 attempts in hopes it was unlucky I've given up. I would LOVE if the service was better because I love the food and smoothies here. The shortest amount of time I have spent in the drive-thru is 10 minutes and that was with no cars ahead of me. More recently I went and 3 cars were before me...( I should have known better) 38 minutes later I received my smoothie and ended up being late to work. This place is unbelievably slow! If you take a 4 hour lunch this is the place to go! However, I take a 30 minute lunch and spent all 30 minutes sitting in the drive thru and on top of this somehow they screwed up my order! I ordered a wrap that was falling apart and sauce everywhere and I specifically asked for no onions and it was FULL of onions!!!! After ordering our 2 smoothies, a flatbread, and chips in the drive-through, the employee assisting us only brought out 1 smoothie and the flatbread. We politely asked if we could get the other smoothie and chips we had ordered. After waiting for another 5 minutes she only brought out the smoothie. We asked if it was the correct smoothie and the employee said yes in a very rude and impatient tone. We were both caught off guard by the lack of customer service and left, not getting our chips. Today I took my kid into the Resturant thinking it might be faster. Well we got our food but the kids behind the counter failed to make our smoothies. I had horrible service today I went through drive ordered I got to the window and the girl didn't come out after about 3 minutes and with food in her mouth. She asked if I needed a drink carrier and I said yes because I have 5 drinks. They didn't get back to me for about 20 minutes I was already mad and she almost gave me my drinks without the drink carrier and keep in mind everyone was inside laughing and she was still eating. This place has tanked. The last 9 months or so I've thought to myself hey I could use a quick smoothie close to home, each time forgetting how bad my experience was the last time I came. I always wait in the drive thru for at least 15 minutes and smoothies are pure ice now, no taste. Just finished my last time ever coming here and waiting 20 minutes in line for 1 car in front of me, I watched that car and the only thing they ordered was 1 smoothie. If I could do zero stars, I would. I have been waiting half an hour for 2 smoothies. No one in the lobby has received their smoothies either. There's only 2 individuals working and one is clearly new. There's not a problem with being new, but there needs to be an additional crew member scheduled to help him specifically. One individual was waiting so long that he straight up left without a refund because he was so frustrated. On top of this, 2 other customers left the line specifically due to the fact no one bothered to greet them at the register and acknowledge their presence. Not a well run establishment. The smoothies are GREAT, and the food is good, would be better if the wraps weren't 70% tortilla! Its really too bad I really like some of the wraps, but its like 7$ with maybe 1/2 cup of ingredients in a HUGE tortilla. I love tropical smoothie. They are made up of all fresh fruits, no ice cream included. They have organic sugar or splenda that you can use. They are 24 oz drinks. I have always had good customer service here. The only bad thing I can say about tropical smoothie is that their prices are pretty high just for a smoothie. This was my first time coming to this specific tropical smoothie. The young girl behind the counter Bre helped me out greatly, I didn't know what to get and she recommended me to some yummy smoothies. I ultimately got the chocolate smoothie and I wasn't disappointed! I've never had amazing customer service like this before, I will come out to this location for now on, even though its a little bit longer drive its worth it! Seriously this place is a joke. First time going there today... Don't waste your money or time. I stopped to get my son and I lunch and a smoothie. The guy at the register didn't know crap about the menu when I asked simple questions and he was kind of rude saying "whatever it says on the menu" well it doesn't say on the menu that's why I freaking asked. Don't offer food if you don't know shit about it. Every baby high chair was broken. No napkins out. Food wasn't even cooked all the way and I'm pretty sure it just required them to press a button and heat it up. My sons "pizza quesadilla" was room temperature and the cheese wasn't melted at all. I Was going to get him a smoothie as a special treat after lunch but went to nektar smoothies instead because after the shitty food and shitty service it wasn't worth trying. I'm a usual customer. I stop in about 3 times a week. The smoothies and food are delicious, but the store does have several problems that need to be addressed. The restrooms were out of order for a week. Only one of their blending machines work. The temperature in the building was 92 degrees and the employees said the AC doesn't work. They had fans set up through out the store that were loud and made it even harder to speak over the blending machines. I went to scan my phone for the app and they said they couldn't because once again the registers were offline which was the same problem a few days ago. The food tastes good, but my lettuce was red and old today. The dressing wasn't cold. The people working were wiping everything down, but there is left over smoothie splattered on the ceiling and walls. A manager is only there half the time that I go in. The drive through is supposed to open at 6, but there's been several times where I have tried ordering food, but no one was there. read more
