This is without a doubt the worst Tropical Smoothie I've ever been to. I've been 5 or 6 times since I moved here, and every time without fail they have managed to mess up my order. I went tonight (5:40 pm) and ordered two chicken quesadillas, which come with roasted tomato salsa. As always, there was no salsa in the box. I went up to the counter and asked for some, and he said they were out. The salsa is the best part of the meal. So I asked if I could get a refund. He said they don't do refunds because the manager isn't there. I asked specifically for the sauce when I ordered because they always forget it, so I don't understand why I wasn't told beforehand that they were out. I wouldn't have ordered. And not even being able to get a refund was the cherry on top. I will not be returning. read more

I probably should not have ordered a drink here. Sure, it was good a cold, but I had to get past the dirty tables, the food strewn all over the floor, and the six "kids" who were working here with no "adult" supervision. There weren't many customers, and they still forgot about my drink. Then when it did come out, it was accompanied by a drink I did not order, and they had no idea who ordered it. I had been here before when school was in session, but this was really bad. A county inspector would have "flunked" this place. I won't be coming back this summer. read more

I went to the 15521 WC Commons Way location on my lunch break. I entered the Cafe and was not greeted or recognized for standing at the counter by the 3 young employees who were there (2 girls 1 boy). The two young ladies were working hard fulfilling food and drink orders, but the young man could be seen leaning on the counter by one of the young ladies obviously looking down at his phone. I observed the two girls give other patrons their orders and the young man stayed in the back. It wasn't until two teenage girls came in to place an order that the young man came from the back and greeted everyone before taking my order. I have not experienced this before in any business. I will say that all the other patrons who came in and out as I waited were not as melenated as me. I ask that some more training be done, including Mindfulness and Diversity. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I came to the counter to place my order 2 young girls were working. They looked at me several times while I was waiting for them to come to the register. No one came to the front to greet me for 5 minutes , the restaurant was completely filthy and if I didn't place an online order and paid I would've left . I like the freshness of TS items. I don't like not being greeted upon entering. Quick review of the menu and I placed my order already knowing what I wanted. Clean restroom. The only trashcan in the dining area was spilling over; I used my tray to push the trash down. Food was good and customizable. read more

This is nothing against the food, but we came in at 6pm on a Saturday and were never helped. The two people working were deep cleaning in the back but saw us standing there for almost 5 min. This location needs more help than just fresh paint on the walls. Every time you walk in, it stinks so bad from something. Can't pin point the smell, vomit, sewage, etc. The young teenagers working there are not welcoming, warm, have lack of energy and communication problems. I am usually standing for minutes at the counter before anyone comes over and they notice I am waiting and do not even communicate or acknowledge me waiting. As I was waiting, I noticed that the teens making food and drinks do not have their hair pulled back. It was gross to witness one teen making a wrap and her hair was leaning over the prepared food touching it. I tell everyone not to eat or order food from here! When I first arrived I thought everything was going fine , there was a long wait but that is expected due to COVID-19. Went there today for lunch and had an ok experience. The staff was busy as it seemed there were only 2 workers and a constant flow of people. The smoothies were excellent. The children's quesadilla was fine for the kids. I ordered the beach club salad. After taking a few bites I realized the lettuce had gone bad. I pulled out many, many pieces of brown/wilted lettuce and eventually asked for a new salad. They were happy to make a new one.. but the new salad was used with the same old lettuce.. hmm. Needless to say after a few bites of that, it went in the trash. The chicken was also gross..so I'll stick to sandwiches if I order food there again! I hope they can have more employees working during lunch, I felt bad for the two working there as they had to work register, fulfill to-go orders, and prep for all those that came in! read more

My experience was a 5 star experience. A man helped me figure out what I wanted, and helped me through the menu options. With each wrap they offer a side of chips or fruit. My turkey wrap was fresh, delish, and perfectly warm. My buffalo chicken wrap was a sad version of anything "buffalo". It tastes like a weak version of taco seasoning or chilli seasoning. I would warn anyone away from this one. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because of their fruit option. They're a 'tropical' and 'smoothy' place, one might have the audacity to assume these folks are at the very least somewhat health conscious. They want A DOLLAR for one, yes. 1, uno, singular... Banana. They are 49 cent PER POUND at the grocery store. Jeez almighty. I wanted 4 bananas for lunch, instead I got a wrap, one free with a coupon and two, dollar bananas for free and I spent 2 More dollars than I was planning ... I come here often because my daughter likes the smoothies. In general, I have found most of the food items to be tasty although most are made in a microwave. The smoothies are good but very high in sugar and therefore very high in calories. I give this restaurant three stars because the service is almost always lousy. Two weeks ago I wanted a salad, and they don't show their salads on the wall menu. I asked the counter person about salads and her response was "we only have two", then stood there staring at me. I asked her what they were and she told me names of them with no other description. I was frustrated so I just left without ordering for myself and went elsewhere for lunch. I came back today and the cashier made absolutely no attempt to be pleasant or smile. She wasn't rude, just completely emotionless. My daughters toasted flatbread wasn't toasted and I bet they waited 3-4 minutes after we ordered before they started making our smoothies (no other customers were in the store) read more

No thanks, placed an online order, arrived for pickup- bell rings when door is opening - and found that the smoothie had been overfilled to the point that it had dripped down the sides and was in a puddle on the table, took about a dozen napkins and a few minutes to clean. During this time I saw three people in the back, and no other customers in the store, not one of the workers came out or addressed why I was standing there - made eye contact and said excuse me, to the only male worker, who looked at me and then walked away. Said excuse me again and got a female worker when I asked why the smoothie was overfilled to the point where I was cleaning up their table, she looked at me like I had 3 heads, repeated myself and her comment was that they have new people working in the back. I asked why nobody came up from the back when the doorbell rang and she said we knew you were the online order - not sure how they knew that without checking or questioned why I was in the front cleaning for a few minutes. I came one day at 9pm when the website said it closes at 10pm on Friday's. The front of the store said it closes at 10, but the doors were locked and there were people standing at the cash register. I stood there for 10 minutes and I'm pretty sure the cashier saw me. If the store hours are wrong, please update it online so people don't waste their time driving here. read more

Very disappointed, this location has restrooms but apparently closed to customers. I asked if they were broken but she said no to just open for us as customers to use. I own a business and when you're open for business customers need to be able to use the facility. read more
